It’s a beautiful hotel but nothing has been renovated and there are no activities going on whatsoever except for Friday and Saturday nights. No organized dinners for the guests unless you are attending a wedding, no activities for families to do!!

Old and outdated service
Reviewed By santiagoo758This is a hotel where I stayed as a child 50 years ago. Well something’s in the rooms have not changed. Everything is old and clunky and either doesn’t work or works in a suboptimal way. Example: the toilet paper does not stay in place as the holders are too old and the management too careless to fix them. Everything in this hotel is careless. The service is horrible and outdated. Makes you feel like a 2 star hotel. Amenities are non-existent and if you dare to ask for say, a toothbrush they frown upon you like if you come from outer space. They do have the best real estate in the bay and the best views, but it is truly a place to avoid.

Reviewed By Freedom57532394072Hotel rooms were nice. We had an ocean view, it was beautiful. The service from the bartenders at the pool was BAD. They were always mad and sometimes would not want to serve you. They would look at you and just walk away from the bar, stand in the middle and do nothing. Most of our waiters/waitresses at the restaurants were nice. Except for one. I believe his name was Alejandro, he disrespected me in-front of my family and friends. I was correcting my child when he was doing something he wasn’t supposed to at the table (with words only) and he started telling me to just leave him alone. He then started saying how I probably was a worse child than he was, a brat, and annoying. I would ask questions about the menu and he would always answer rude. He also never brought my drink that I asked for. I asked him again and he said “can you wait?!!” So I did, and I never got it. Food was ok 7/10 for food. I recommend staying at a better hotel and just order a la carte rather than this all inclusive. Snack bar food and service is also trash.

This area seems to be moist all the time, the pool is far from private, but there are other areas that you can seek out, including the jacuzzi area. Nothing very special.

Think twice before booking...
Reviewed By MSalazarHLook: normally I don't complain if a "regular" hotel gives you what they promiss. In this case I knew upfront that the hotel had some deficiencies, but I anyhow decided to stay there for some convenience reasons of the ocassion and accepted a lower-end stay. Unfortunatelly the hotel was worse than expected, bad quality of infrastructure and installations, photos on the website are clearly an artist "hook" with no relation to the reality, eventhough I knew the year-end high season could justify higher costs, their actual value promiss was non-existant so the cost-bennefit ratio was not true. Due to the above I requested an immediate talk with the manager and asked for a cancellation and for my money back. Knowing that there were some penalties I expected a sound "NO", but hearing my reasons the manager accepted my demands and was charged only for the first and only night. I got the rest of my money back. In a nutshell, the hotel is not what you expect. One positive element though was the staff: oriented to provide good service (thumbs up) knowing that their hotel is not what you might expect. Finally I have to say that the manager was very professional dealing with the complaint (thumbs up).
