Some of the Trulli have a private patio area and a conical roof, and are surrounded by a floral garden, while studios have vaulted ceilings. not a trullo, but great place!!!

We stayed in a double room near the reception. The place was very clean, with big spaces. The roomo was pretty basic, good bed and good shower. The staff was kind and ready to help. Short walk or 2 minutes by car to town. The pool seemed great for the summer!

The room and the bathroom are freshly renovated and had the perfect interior! The breakfast from Donatella was absolutely awesome, we ate way too much everyday :) It nearly felt as home from the first second! Donatella is very helpful for everything you need and has also some very good tips for the time in Polignano a Mare :)

Relais Masseria Rosa

Set amongst olive groves and perfumed vines, the hotel, dating back to the 1800's, offers an accurate and refined restoration of a Masseria (farmhouse) typical of this region. All our trulli apartments are ideal in order to enjoy a relaxed and peaceful stay thanks to the perfect integration between old atmospheres and new comfort, in the wonderful colors of the Apulian countryside.

Very tranquil and serene

We stayed in a very cute trullo which was very neat and decent. There were other guests but it’s like having your own appartment, very quiet and relaxing. The pool is quite big and also clean. Everything is nearby. Breakfast was very nice. We wanted some cheese and prosciutto the next day and that was absolutely no problem. We had our own little terrace and ate our breakfast in absolute privacy with the company of 2 lovely cats. I would suggest offering some drinks at arrival for that little bit extra. It would have been nice to have an aperol spritz at the pool. The fridge only contained one bottle of water. So you are inclined to do your own groceries and as we were only staying for 2 nights it is nice to have those things available in the masseria. The airconditioning was not very cold, so for me, it was very hot at night. We had a very pleasant stay and if you like privacy i would highly reccomend!

I had an excellent breakfast, probably the best in over two weeks travelling around Italy. The town was average though imho. The rooms were clean and the under floor heating was especially welcomed. I recommend charming Trulli

Beautiful room, poor breakfast

Reviewed By Kate J

Lovely farmhouse located 10 min outside of Pogliano. We had a Junior Suite in the original house which is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was the nicest room we've stayed in during our two week trip. However for this price you expect more than just beautiful accommodation. A private party was being held and (very) loud dance music underneath our room was blaring until 2am. Little regard shown to guests. Unfortunately the breakfast is not good. No fruit, no croissants, no fresh bread, no orange juice. Cakes and warm (no refridgerator) yogurts. A little more effort on these details and this place could be a real gem

Quite a nice experience!

The place is really nice. The pool is big and the rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms are huge. The restaurant is quite tasty . The breakfast included both salty and sweet stuff. However the pool is opened for guests outside the hotel and quite often it can get pretty loud with teenagers and they also host quite a lot of parties there. The bathrooms could use some restructuring (shower hose hanger broken and hydro-massage not working) All in all the area is fantastic and really relaxing and we had an awesome time

We stayed one night as part of a self guided bike tour. The accommodation was excellent. I loved being able to soak my tired limbs in a big hot bath. The hospitality shown was exceptional and our evening meal, outstanding. One course was fresh pasta with truffle. Highly recommend Masseria Torre Di Nebbia.

Prepare to be a part of the family

Reviewed By 876samyb

Masseria Ciavea is an amazing place to properly enjoy your stay in the region of Puglia. We were welcomed by Angelo and his family in their beautiful farm where they did a fantastic job with implementing rooms. The rooms were spacious enough, very clean, modern and they never get too hot thanks to good isolation. The bed was a little hard for my own personal taste but it isn’t something that will keep you awake at night. Should it become hotter you can simply turn on the AC unit and set it to your preferred temperature. They also have strong WiFi which is sometimes hard to come by in the countryside. Breakfast is served every morning, and you can also opt for a package that includes dinner. Speaking about dinner, since this place is a functioning farm, it means that your meals will mostly contain produce that comes straight from their garden and that makes a great difference for your tastebuds. From basil to zucchini to tomatoes all the way to mozzarella, they all grow/make it in-house - it doesn’t get fresher than that. The food is delicious and authentic, don’t expect your classic Italian dishes like lasagna or carbonara, here you’ll be served lesser known dishes from Puglia and it’s all the better for it. We loved some dishes so much that we asked for the recipe and they not only gave it to us, they kindly invited to show us how to make it the next day - this goes the same for mozzarella, they will show you how they make it and you can be a part of the process. The family is the nicest and they very helpful. They’ll always recommend you a good place to get food, activities to do in the area or shops to get specific products even if those can be in different cities. On top of speaking Italian, Angelo also speaks french and a little bit of English but should it no be enough, one of his two sons Vincenzo speaks very good English. I could go on, but at this point I can only but recommend going there yourself - you will not regret it, it is a unique experience and it will make your stay in Puglia unforgettable. Thank you again Angelo, chef Marizia, Vincenzo and Nino - you made our stay more than great and we will for sure come back. Ciao !

Repetitive food

Reviewed By hatches02

On our third Sunday visit we realised that we were getting pretty much the same food each time. When you book lunch and use of the pool you get a set menu but it's not very tasty and more or less the same each week. The meal costs €25 per head and they've started charging €10 each for sunbeds so it's not cheap. We'll be giving it a miss now until next year. Pity as the pool is lovely.
