Cheap and functional.
Reviewed By Joshua MFor the price, it's certainly reasonable- a double bed with private bathroom, wifi, air-con and a small flatscreen TV. As somewhere to wash and sleep, it meets the minimum standard. However, don't set your expectations high- you're paying for the location here, and littlle else. The walls are THIN, so you'll hear everything in the hallways and in the neighbouring rooms- bear this in mind if you're a light sleeper or expecting company. The bathroom is also very budget- my showerhead mount was too loose so I had to practicallly hug the tap. again, for the price you can't expect much, but this lack of function was quite irritating. Overall it's a conveniently placed pit-stop, but don't expect many frills! (on that topic, I found that someone slipped an advertisement for 'extra services' shortly after I settled in my room.. No comment.)

Basic and clean but lacks service
Reviewed By Len AThe apartment is basic but very clean. More than adequate for one night stay. Some services are lacking however. The major one is that there is one washing machine for the whole hotel: and it is as slow as a snail. I waited one hour and it still had another hour to finish. That is ok. The only problem was that when I asked staff if they could tell me where I could do the washing outside they looked at me as if I asked a problem I should have asked Einstein to solve. Such knowledge us essential for travellers.

OK for a short stopover
Reviewed By magician84I stayed at this hotel during a trip through China on a short stopover in Chongqing before boarding a Yangtse river cruise the next day.The hotel is located within walking distance to a large pedestrian zone with great shopping opportunities and plenty of restaurants. The hotel and its rooms are pretty simple (i.e. 2-star) and could be cleaner. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was working. Negative point is that there is no bathroom door and there is no wi-fi Internet available. However in general it is ok for a short stopover in Chongqing which is a fascinating but frantically busy city.

Overnight Stay Near Chongqing North Railway Station
Reviewed By Nishant PI stayed at this hotel as I was arriving from Chengdu to Chongqing North Railway Station and wanted to stay at a place near metro station as next morning I had to catch a metro to reach Airport. This was my first stay at a Hanting Hotel. Its just like any other budget hotel chain. When you get of south square metro station from exit which goes to Wyndham Hotel, the hotel is on the right hand side if you are standing facing Wyndham Hotel. Hotel has only Chinese signage on exterior so i could not spot it straight away. Fortunately I had hotel address written in Chinese, and a local directed me towards it. There was some construction going on just outside metro station so I had to take a foot bridge to reach it. Hotel staff did not speak any English but was eager to help. It had all basic amenities. I tried to use TV but everything was in Chinese so so I was not able to go beyond the first screen. Since staff only knew Chinese and I was there for only a day so I did not reach out to them for help. Hotel seems to be located in a small shopping complex, but when i went out for dinner around 8 PM I could not see any restaurants. Chinese restaurants usually close early around 9, and if you have are staying in this hotel try to have early dinner as it will take some time to look for restaurants on foot. I had a early flight and had to check out around 6 AM. Staff though could not speak any English was able to understand that I need to go to Chongqing North Railway Station to catch a metro to airport. As it was quite early and still dark, they asked the hotel guard to accompany me to taxi stop to get a taxi. It was very helpful. It costed 10 CNY to reach station. Overall I feel if you want to stay around a metro station near Chongqing North railway station, then this is a good budget option.
