Very nice and pleasant
Reviewed By Daniela CThe room we stayed was very comfortable (suite VIP close to the check in area). We were with our 1 year old baby and we could enjoy the pool and the playground area with him. The hotel is close to the center, but not so much by walking (you should better use a car). When we go to Penedo, we always try to stay there, but it's always full or almost full, so you better make a reservation with at least a week before the date.

Reviewed By Jacksy1969Great little boutique hotel. The staff, especially the front desk Camili were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are simple and very clean. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. Cost is reasonable. Breakfast was nice and bc of Covid they had it brought out to you after ordering. The little courtyard was pretty and relaxing with a caipirinha was nice after a long day of travel. It is a short 5 min walk to the Centro Historic part of town. This was nice to be away from the noise of the busy city center. Free covered parking was also nice to have.

Overall not a good experience
Reviewed By thisabIve stayed in the basic room but I didn't expect it to be so small. The bed was big, but the room smelled of cigarettes. The Cable TV didn't work, always said the signal was bad. The bathroom is small and I found used bath soap laying around. I complained and they promised to clean the room, only to find out that the cleaning service is working once a week during the pandemic. The breakfast was really basic (which I understand as we are in a coronavirus pandemic and things are simpler) but the coffee was just ok (drinkable). The service knocked on my door twice one night trying to deliver somebody else's meal. Overall if I had personally payed for the room I wouldn't stay. However, I didn't have an option because it was a critical business trip and it was the nearest hotel next to the client.

great all round hotel
Reviewed By Alex S7 nights during paralympic games. The hotel staff were very helpful (they were particularly patient with my poor Portuguese language skills). The room was basic, but very clean. There was a fridge in the room which was handy and air conditioning. The room was very dark as the window was facing directly onto a wall (so much so that you couldn't tell that it was daylight outside), but I didn't have any issue with this (I'm in the room to sleep only!). Breakfast was really nice. Simple - fruit (3 or 4 pieces), bread, ham & cheese - and with really excellent coffee. It's served to your room as there is no dining room/restaurant - I'm not used to taking breakfast like this, but actually I enjoyed doing it this way. There is good WIFI. The hotel is 5 minutes from Copacabana beach and about 5 minutes from Siquera Campos metro station. Excellent value. I suppose the hotel felt a bit dated - but I found it authentic and charming.

Reviewed By JosephineSalvadorThis hotel is a nice little hotel. It is in a lovely quiet street. It is a small hotel so very good and personal service. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is good. the garden is small as is the swimming pool but it is sheltered from the main road. It is a short walk into town and slightly longer to the beach. WiFi was not good.

Garage was a bit annoying , due to the fact that you have many cars in a line and you need to leave the key at reception. All the rooms have names of buzios beaches.
