Reviewed By mahlegrandNegative: We stayed in two rooms. In our room in the main building we discovered bed bugs. In de dependance building internet is poor and shower takes about 3 minutes to get on temperature. Unfriendly staff. They did nog recognise the problem. There is a road between hotel and swimmingpool, so be careful with your kids wandering around. Amenities in the rooms and breakfast are basic. Positive: Beautiful scenery and swimmingpool

Food was great, service and aspecially location. Wunderful view where the restaurant is on a hill. We also could pay by creditcard, not always thats possible

Our B&B is located in the city center in a strategic position, between the Arena (5 min walk) and Porta Nuova station (10 minutes on foot). Cleanliness, hospitality and comfort are the basis of our work in order to allow our guests to spend a peaceful stay and enjoy their experience in Verona.

It’s a 5 min walk from the Arena, so go enjoy this lovely place, you won’t regret it. And of course enjoy Verona, it’s such a beautiful city :)

We received a warm welcome and Stefano was excellent assisting me prior to our arrival with taxi bookings and information about the city. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Veronetta House is central and provides easy walking into the city. Thank you for a great stay.

Corte Merighi Rooms & Breakfast is a mansion built in 1923, now completely and stylishly refurbished. The structure is close to the city centre and just a stone throw from the Rail Station of Porta Nuova. It is strategically located either if you are travelling for work or for pleasure. The Verona Fiere (exhibition centre) is only 15 min away by car, or by bus and the entrance of the highway is just 450mt from Corte Merighi. The famous Roman amphitheatre, well known as Arena, and the medieval Castle "Castelvecchio" are only 10 minutes away walking. Corte Merighi is well placed in a green oasis, for a complete relax and tranquillity, in an easy parking area, yet next to down town. The mansion offers six en-suite rooms, free WiFi, kettle with selection of teas and coffee, LED Tv, warmer/cooler floor plant and indoor/outdoor TVcc recording system. The breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and you can have it sitting outdoor in the relax area, during the warm season.

Reviewed By darwinsunWhat a joy to find this humble little hotel just off the Verona nord exit. Fabulous welcome from Sara and fabrizio, who were very patient with our poco italiano. Sara recommended the best restaurant in the world for dinner - trattoria al borgo da piero, 600m walk from the hotel, where Vera and Piero fed us fantastic food until we sleepily made our way back. Free parking at rear of hotel, free WiFi, clean, comfortable room, breakfast included. 80 euros total for two people. The hotel doesn't pretend to be fancy, but it is great value; the room was quiet and the bed was comfy and firm. We're trying to find an excuse to return!

The restaurant had something for everyone including a gluten free option. We highly recommend this to others and will stay here again, when we return to the area. Grazie!!

Reviewed By CurlydeezGreat find. The host Mira is such a sweetheart, she provided tea and pastries each morning and dropped us to/from train station for no cost. Each room is named after one of her 3 children, and there is a heart located somewhere in the room. The rooms are clean and mattress comfy. It has a hot power shower, fridge and air con (needed as temp was 37 degrees that weekend). There are also black out shutters for night. Few nice touches too - there was insect repellent available, cold bottled water and snacks in the entrance for anyone to take. Approx 20min walk to reach Verona arena, but 30-40min for Juliets house. Overall great value for money and would recommend.

Reviewed By Josipa EI would warmly recomend hitel Brusco if you are visiting Verina. Owners are really polite and hotel us very clean and tidy. You have only 3 minutes of walk to nearest train station from which you can go to Verona so you don't have to go by car.
