FOREST VALLEY HOME STAY is situated 2.5 km away from Madikeri City. Surrounded by forest with a Valley adjoined by paddy fields where you are free to roam around and enjoy the nature. Totally different experience apart from the boring city life. You can have a healthy walk watching birds across large paddy fields and play by the natural stream. This place looks like a piece of paradise, we have small swimming pool for children.The food we serve here is loved and brings our guests back regularly. Coorg food, especially the signature pork dish, Pandhi kari is a hot favorite. The other cuisines served are the regular South Indian and Indian dishes.

Reviewed By Explorer54144168701We friends had taken the tree house villa for 4 nights and we overwhelmed with the stay ,food and service given by the caretakers Pawan and his crew and the property owner for making out stay memorable. Kudos to the team .. the property is well maintained rooms and bathrooms were upto date even in the rainy season there were no signs of dampness or fungus..

Reviewed By Sheetal_RkeVery pathetic hotel with dirty old rooms. Hotel doesn't look like online photos at all. The hotel is in the corner of Madikeri city on the sides of an open drain. It has filthy looking entrance and interior. Ground, first and second floor are secluded and dirty. Reception is at second floor. It is scary to take stairs which doesn't feel safe to go alone. Coming to rooms, interior is very dirty and old. Everything bedsheet, cushions, pillows, floor, mirror, washrooms etc were really old and dirty. We didn't feel like spending a minute in that room. Restaurant and hotel vibes are very negative. **DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST** It is total wastage of money

Reviewed By Lakshmi15Could hardly stay the night we booked. Seedy looking room was given, pictures attached. None of this is showcased in their promotion. Rooms they show online are no comparison to what we got to stay. It isn't a resort at all!! It's one storey building with rooms. We felt completely cheated and spoiled our vacation mood.

Reviewed By SureshKumarNetiThe suite that we stayed in had a sitting area, bedroom, an additional common area with a bed and an attached bathroom. Though the rooms are a bit small (area wise) it was sufficient for us. The breakfast was included and was served in the room. The hot water was available in the mornings and evenings. It would have been great if the bathroom had a shower. The owners are very nice and are very helpful. The location is good and is not very far from the bus stand. Check with the reception and they will arrange for tours at reasonable rates. Restaurants are about 2 km from the hotel. Auto charge will be Rs. 30 to Rs. 50 from the bus stand (or restaurants) depending on the time of the day.

Excellent property in a nice budget
Reviewed By sumitndaThis is a serviced apartment, at such a beautiful location that you can see the complete Coorg town and valley from your balcony. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The cleanliness is very good and standard of fittings and fixtures is immaculate. The dining hall on top floor has beautiful view again, and the management has provided fridge, microwave etc at the same place. My only crib is that there's no cooking facility. I understand that its a small property and hence won't be economical for the hotel to cater for all meals. However, they can provide basic things such as readymade coffee, tee, some bread-omelette etc of course. Secondly, the hotel should tie up with one particular good restaurant towards catering for meals for the guests . anyways, the crib aside, I can say that this has been one of the most memorable stays that I had. This property is strongly recommended for any travellers looking at staying in a budget accommodation without making any compromise. Also, its very close to raja's seat

Reviewed By Jayapradha RThe scenic place, well maintained clean rooms/ toilet, ample space for kids to play, the aroma of coffee beans, friendly staffs and yummy home made food makes Raj Estate stay one of the best places to go to for some real peace of mind and relaxation. Staffs were very friendly and they really made my stay with two kids under 5 very pleasant and easy. The creek behind the mud house was the highlight of our stay! It's clean, shallow water and was a lovely experience playing in it. There is a feeling of warmth and belonging that you get with the stay here...which is the reason this place has now become our favourite spot to stay at Coorg.

Great Homestay in Madikeri
Reviewed By LiveTravelLoveLifeThe place is very near to the city center. It's near to the Raja seat as well as Bus stand and the market. It has a very scenic beauty from its terrace and from the gallery of the room. The caretaker person is very humble and helpful for every need. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was one of the memorable stays there. The service and location both are very very nice.

A good stay makes the day
Reviewed By Gourav AIt was nice homestay considering the cleanliness and space area. Being nearer to few of the monuments made easier to give a visit to those places on own. At night we walked around just to chill with no or less people around and feel the serenity of the place. The owner was quite good and provided us the warm water/ice and even utensils when required. The bathroom and basins were really clean and multiple bed-sheets and blankets were provided with good cable-TV connections. The terrace had table and chairs so we spent night having food/drinks and gossiping in that surreal surrounding.
