The cultural hub of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, which, at 88 stories high, are the tallest twin buildings in the world and a vision of modern architecture. Berjaya Times Square

Hotel of good standard in decent location

Reviewed By Milodelilah

We started our trip in Asia by spending 3 days in KL where we stayed at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel. The hotel looks impressive, it's clean, great sized rooms, good aircon and with helpful staff although there isn't any feel of a personal service. Pool area is great, nice views and large enough to be kid and adult friendly. Changing room doesn't have any private changing areas though. You can access a large shopping centre via the ground floor and access to the city centre is easy. Food was above average for what you can expect of this kind of hotel in Malaysia but it isn't excellent.

Located just 5 min walk from Bangsar MRT, and less than 15min walk to Bangsar Village. There is also an Express Bus center nearby, One Couch Room and shared bathroom are simple and average clean. The pillow in my room wasn't clean, and made my sensitive hands swelling. After changing a pillow, it's ok. WiFi speed is good, and video call is ok. Owner speaks good English, Mandarin and Malay. Solo Traveler, single room Perfect location, just 5 min walk from Bangsar MRT, and less than 15min walk to Bangsar Village. There is also an Express Bus center nearby, One Couch. Staff is friendly, and there are even two cute cats!!! Facilities are good at this price. :) The pillow in my room wasn't clean, and made my sensitive hands swelling. But since I have 2 pillows, so I just switched them and everything was then OK.

My Second Visit to the hotel and it was not good

Reviewed By Vipin V

I visited this hotel a year ago when I opted for a cheaper room. This time around I booked a better family room of this hotel with a promised city view. The Room was on Level 3 but a view from the window was a wall of another building behind. The room was smelly and I had to ask for another room. Which they denied saying all rooms are booked, although I doubt so. The staff is good but it seems hotel management is not investing in the renovation or restoration of this hotel. It is a very old property and needs immediate maintenance before people stop booking rooms with them. The Hotel has a restaurant on level 1 with South Indian Options including vegetarian food.

I was there with a friend. We stayed there in January 2 nights. AND WE COULDN T SLEEP ANY NIGHT because there are night pubs open until 4 o oclock in the morning... I tried to change my room to another without noise but the receptionist told us that it was less noisy than the others rooms... I have to say that the rooms were quite cleaned and modern. And the receptionist was respectfull and he tried to help us in everething that we needed. But i say again, it is imposible to sleep
