Inside, the hotel provides all the amenities you might need for a comfortable stay: a cooling pool, an excellent breakfast with several options, also free both ways transfer from/to the port. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Check-in was very smooth, and the girls at the desk are very hardworking with smiles on their faces; they were happy to assist with everything. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Shame about the beachfront
Reviewed By sydneysteveI stayed here for 5 nights in a bungalow with a (basic) garden view The staff were all friendly and efficient. My room was not large and there was little shelving and hanging space. I think 2 people would find it difficult to feel comfortable. The aircon, lighting and fridge were all okay but all the the TV cable channels were in Thai. The bathroom was large but still a wet room. The water heater worked okay but the shower was positioned next to the door with the towel railat the other end. Only the shower wall was tiled, the other 3 walls were bare concrete. The timber vanity affixed tot the wall would make a good museum piece. The porch had old timber furniture with each bungalow having a wash station which was handy. Plenty of mozzies so make sure you have your spray. My breakfast was included and was limited to eggs, hotdogs, toast, jam, juice and 3 different fruits each morning but was more than adequate. There were tables and chairs outside the restaurant building but the timber sunloungers had no cushions. Although this property is beachfront, the beach is very narrow and many boats park along this stretch of beach. Boats parked in front of the resort was hit and miss. Overall, I don't agree with the 3 star rating, particularly given the bungalow. I've stayed in many 2 star rated bungalows around Thailand better appointed than what Salisa provides.

Our clean Koh Lipe resort stands below two huge tamarind trees providing plenty of shade in order to maintain a comfortable temperature inside. The bungalows are right next to the dive centre and less than a minute's walk from Sunrise Beach. Each room has a fan and clothes storage facilities as well as a private wetroom with western flushing toilet and high-pressure shower. Several plug-in points are available inside each bungalow and Wireless Internet access is complimentary for all our guests. Our Koh Lipe accommodation has been built in an ecologically responsible way. Shower water is being recovered for watering our plants. Toilet water is led through two septic tanks into a "soak-away" where the water is slowly filtered. In this way all bacteria are eliminated before the groundwater is reached. This means the fresh-water level on the island is not depleted. On Koh Lipe only two resorts have been built in this ecologically friendly way.
Lovely place to stay on Sunrise Beach
Reviewed By carolineleckyStunning location sunrise beach with attached beachfront Benny's on the Beach restaurant (I have also reviewed this little gem!). The dive shop had a great vibe with instructors and a team who clearly know what they are doing. Comfortable rooms and FREE WATER! They provide Trash Hero Bottles for water refills during your stay to add to their Eco Ethos. 30 steps from my room to watch the sunrise every day. Quiet, clean and super comfortable beds. If you are looking to eat well, sleep well and dive on Koh Lipe, this is the place to stay!

Food very average and we waited for ages
Reviewed By AdamBilgyFood took forever to come out , to the point we nearly left. Pork was pretty good but the Pad Thai abysmal (mostly cheap thun noodles and bo taste) . Deserts were ok but expensive. .. We wouldn't bother visiting again.

Reviewed By adam oAll the excellent reviews were spot on, Anna and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms were nice sized with a cool outside shower bathroom built onto the rear of each apartment. We noticed some reviews stating that the mosquitos can be a problem in the bathroom at dusk - tip get the mosquito incense candles from 7/11 and burn one before shower time done the trick for us :) Location was perfect with a great tip from staff to visit beaches and local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.
