The Nest is a small family base resort in Koh Samui with only 5 rooms and maximum occupancy at any time is only 11 people. Our hotel is just 2 minutes from the center of Bangrak where you can find many shops, restaurants, pharmacy and piers around within the vicinity.

This lovely hotel completely renovated, is located in Chaweng, close to 3 shopping centers and 5 minutes from the beach Fisherman's Village, and 10 minutes from the beach Chaweng, the center of all activities' of Samui.

Reviewed By kemagnataI booked my vacation in Ko Samui from Jecko and when I arrived I realized that I could not choose better. Unique reception. The owner is a true Italian gentleman. The hotel and the rooms are new, totally soundproofed by outside noise, quality furnishings, really comfortable beds! Excellent value for money, located near the Fisherman village where there are many local and in the evening there is no lack of shows on the beach. Suitable for young people who like motorbike trips that can be rented directly from the owner at a good price. Given the cleanliness and attention to detail, the living room becomes comfortable even for families. I'll be back

Absolutely amazing stay!
Reviewed By sophiesV8603VHJust amazing in every way. Location is near Chaweng but far up enough to hear no noise. You will need a scooter or to rely on taxis as with most places in Thailand but the staff at the resort let us use theirs for 100 baht a day. We stayed in the superior double which was basically a mini studio - had everything you need, toastie maker, coffee machine, cutlery and bowls, plates etc. Quite private too - our room was in the corner and had our own gate entrance. Because of Covid and tourism only just picking up, the resort isn’t busy at all and we felt like the only ones staying, was so peaceful. Air con was amazing, ceiling fan too and a Smart TV. The owners also have two very small dogs that were so cute and will say hi to you occasionally! Room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities you could need. Bottles of water and toilet roll left outside even on days when we didn’t require room service. This has been the best place we’ve stayed in during our travels in Thailand, can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so comfortable.

Reviewed By hlm857Stayed here for a week, originally booked just a few days and extended because we liked it. Location is good: not too close to chewang busy strip to be noisy and not too far either. Easily walkable within a few minutes. Just across the main road to the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Plus facilities such as washing services and scooter/car hire. I have read in previous reviews that it is off the beaten track? I wouldn’t say that at all, it’s literally 3 streets away from the start of the bars and restaurants, but maybe a little further to the ‘ ‘party’ bars. Room: lovely spacious room, has huge bathroom and is super clean. Fridge, kettle etc and balcony which is nice. The cleaners are amazing, they’re super friendly and cleaned the room daily for us/topped up tea, coffee, water and toiletries. They also don’t ask to clean too early if you’re sleeping which is nice. Bed is comfortable and extra pillows etc provided. Aircon works really good. Staff: As I have said the cleaners are really nice. But also gardeners, security and reception staff were all friendly to us and super helpful. We booked a taxi at 4am to go to the airport through the hotel, not only was it early, he was ready and waiting at quarter too, they took our bags etc and wished us a safe trip, this was super nice of them considering the ungodly hour. Outside: pool is a cute little spot, very clean and clearly new. Car park is useful if you need it and secure as has security 24/7. Over all I couldn’t fault this hotel, especially for the incredibly cheap price we paid. If I had to be super picky I would say the gym needs to updated equipment, but still good to have the gym there and free use is awesome. It’s also not a social place if you’re travelling solo, but definitely worth the money if you fancy a little ‘budget luxury’ for a similar price to a hostel.

Amazing Holiday
Reviewed By 12tracygWell we are just about to leave this Idyllic place and what a fabulous time we have had. So this villa is perfect as it’s about 10 minutes out of the hassle and bustle and right away from the main area , you do need to either be happy to pay for taxis (£9) each way to Fisherman Village, main area that’s close by or hire a car. We choose taxi, there are lots around. Take the Idyllic card and just show them when you want a taxi, if you give the team notice they will drive you in and you can get a taxi back, Idyllic will charge you to take you but they are so lovely. The villa is gorgeous and the team cannot do enough to make sure you have a lovely time. They are so friendly and will help you with what ever you need. The manager and lovely lady takes time to talk to you and make sure everything is ok. No Restaurant or bar just villa and a private beach. So as long as your all prepared you cannot have a bad experience. We had 3 adults a 17 year old a 19 year old and 3 and 5 year old and we have all had an amazing time. Sad to be leaving and Thank You For looking after us so well… Tracy Grunwell xx

Reviewed By joeripoeriNormally I use tripadvisor to read comments but I was so disappointed of this accomodation that I decided to this time write a comment. Where to start? At first look, rooms seemed OK, you have also a small pool with a sort of jacuzzi in the pool. - Let's start with the "Jacuzzi", Everytime you want to use it you need to go untill the owners (so you need to do allll the stairs up and again down) because only them can activate it. So if they are not here ( which is often the case) you will not be able to use it. - Room was not really clean and we found 2 dead gekko's next to the bed + toilet was really not clean. - If you think this is an hotel then you are wrong! owners live also in the villa so are very strict whith everything .For exemple she came to me,very mad and rude, while I was swimming telling me I left the airco on in my empty room! Ok I understand that aircon is expensive but still, I was still in the hotel and left the aircon on to have a "fresh room" when I go back in my room. anyway this type of situation you ll never get it in a normal hotel! I don't understand the postive comments here on tripadivsor, I chose this hotel basing myself on those comments and I was really disappointed I did. That's also why I decided to write this comment and hope I will able to help other viewers.

Reviewed By Dozza74A big thank you to Isabelle and Stephane, our hosts. They welcomed us as if we were family and looked after us the same way. We felt at home right away. The hotel is gorgeous, luxurious green everywhere and multi-colored bungalows... Beautiful settings. The rooms are new and kept very clean. And the service is top notch. The size of the hotel keeps it quiet and personal but you're close to all amenities at the same time. I would recommend this place to anyone !
