We stayed from Friday night to early Sunday morning. The food at the restaurant was very good, and we specially loved the artichoke in three cheeses (delicious), the guacamole, the chicken, their breakfast. We had to leave early on Sunday, so Saturday afternoon I requested if they could have coffee early before leaving the hotel, and instead they provided us with the Menu, and made a list of all our choices (6 persons) and prepared all our delicious food early in the morning 7:30 am, instead of their usual 8:00 am breakfast time. They made us feel special, and by doing so, allowed us to eat breakfast w/o rushing, and we enjoyed our last meal with them. Angel is the chef, and everything tasted delicious, Also Anahi Benitez was very courteous, professional, and friendly, she made sure we had everything we needed prior to leaving for our flight in Mexico City, she went above and beyond, and helped me print my boarding pass. Everybody was super friendly and accommodating to all our needs, I regret not having all their names, but if you go to Valle de Bravo make sure you pay them a visit, we experience how people that were not staying at the Meson, went there at the restaurant just for lunch or dinner, or to have a drink with friends.

Reviewed By Claudia OThe hotel is in a forest with beautiful bungalows on the hillside among the trees and natural surroundings. We were a family with our adult daughter and teenage son. The main building overlooks a small lake and swimming pool. The spa is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful with a wonderful hydro therapy circuit amongst a gorgeous jungle backdrop. The hotel is a hive of young children who take advantage of the day camp style activities. The pool was crowded with children screaming, shooting water guns and having fun. It would be great if there was also an adult or quiet pool that was available other than the spa area as you have to reserve a time to use the spa’s smaller pools. We did not have a rental car and getting to Valle de Bravo center is a bit far especially with the heavy weekend or holiday traffic. There is a constant soundtrack of pop music covers playing in the main areas and though I love music it takes away from the peaceful landscape. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. A wonderful spot for families with young children. Would not recommend for a romantic getaway.

My room bed was not flat.You can hear people talking in next cabin talking. The location was very nice. They need to fix this things to be an excellent place to rest.

Delightfully furnished with rugs, prints & statuary as well as a kitchenette & a great hot tub for late afternoon relaxing soaks. Juan Carlos is a generous & hospitable man who helped us greatly with our ongoing travel plans & recommended places of interest to explore. Would advise hiring a car or prepare to use taxis as it’s 10 minutes from town centre.

THE WORST HOTEL I’VE EVER BEEN IN

The manager and front desk lady are bitter and so rude, no one will put a smile or help you in any way. And found a big bug in the room. There is no space to leave your clothes, safe box does not work and they are not responsible if you loose something. The pool is not comfortable, restaurant too small. A real mess

Reviewed By mca926Es un sitio bonito enclavado en el bosque, buena atención y el desayuno estuvo bien (por un monto mínimo adicional). Hay espacio para realizar actividades al aire libre como jugar o caminar, pero no hay actividades programadas por el personal. Hace frío, pero nos vendieron leña para la chimenea y ayudó mucho.
