Wonderful hotel with amazing food
Reviewed By laughlovetravelwineThis hotel is a real find off the Strada del Vino. The decor is really nice and has a bicyclist theme to it, but is also modern. Wow, the breakfasts are really something special. As are the dinners. It seems most people do half board here, and it’s worth it. Their antipasti buffet is extensive and you can tell all their ingredients are fresh and bio. We had a room that was split level which worked for us, but the bathroom is downstairs from the bed- so can be tricky for some. We also had a balcony with beautiful views of the vineyard and mountain. I’d stay again.

Reviewed By SusanneMunichSpacious rooms with modern decor, outdoor pool, ample parking (which is not granted in Tramin) - this is truly a 3*S hotel. Breakfast is good, although service is rather inattentive and juices are diluted with water. Helpfulness of reception staff varies by person, hence rather average. The "bar" is rather impersonal but with a good choice of wines and other drinks. No restaurant or room service.

Our bed and breakfast is situated in a quiet spot, close to the centre. We offer you comfortably rooms with balcony, shower/WC, safe and TV and also new apartments. Free W-LAN in all rooms and apartments. Our guests enjoy the large and healthy breakfast with home-made products. A traditionally wine cellar with home-made wine, big lawn for sunbathing, children's playground, Ping-Pong and a private car park is available. We rent mountainbikes for no fee.

Motorcycle Hotel
Reviewed By H WEvery year I do a motorcycle tour. This year my tour took me to Termeno (Tramin). Through MoHo motorcycle hotels I came across the Schneckentaler Hof. For my tours to the Dolomites and Lake Garda exactly the right location. I did my booking with email and I got a quick answer. Super was that I got a double bed room with a view to the valley and the mountains. The room was as described and for my needs large enough well and clean. The bathroom with toilet was a bit small. Room service very good. The sun shines only in the morning to the room thereby he heats up not so on The only downside to this room was that it was just over the terrace. This terrace is used by the hotel guests all evening. When I stayed in the hotel was until 24:00 guests on the terrace and it was relatively noisy. Breakfast was ok and served on the terrace. Since I booked half-board, there was every evening a 4-course menu. Salad, appetizer main course and dessert. The food was very good. Drinks are at their own expense. As described in MoHo, the owner himself is a biker and has several bikes. A garage is available for free use. There is also a washing area, helmet cleaning and, if necessary, the possibility of repairs. My Conclusion: I recommend this hotel and I would book the hotel again.

Therefore the balcony has little sense to me and that is why the average rating. still, nice attention, plenty of choices at the breakfast and if the weather allows you may take it in the garden. If someone likes a new experience, we were surprised as although the rustic interior, room 1 has a mirror over the bed.

Reviewed By reedaa2016Great location surrounded by vineyards and scenic mountains. The room with panoramic view worth every penny. Rooms were clean and had just about everything we needed. Anything else we needed was provided by the friendly and attentive staff. Really good coffee with an ample breakfast buffet. Fun to sit and enjoy aperitivo overlooking the valley.

Reviewed By Lars KHi, This hotel and restaurant is fantastic! Owner Jan and his team really make your holiday a party. Food is top quality a bib gourmand wouldn't go amiss. Every evening a good menu, and possibility to change something. The wine list is good and very complete. 2 pools and a very nice private spot on the kaltern lake Thank you Jan and Bessi

wondeful vacation
Reviewed By Nils Rwe can highly recommend the Pernhof. We had a wonderful time there as a family of four for 10 days. The rooms are specious, comfortable and high standard. It is quiet and the staff and owners very friendly The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed going to the swimming pools and lakes that are nearby, as well as on walks in the mountains.
