Our apartment house is situated in the middle of the historic square of the town Telč and it is the integral part of the most picturesque square of our country, the Zachariáš of Hradec square.In the Chortnitzer house there are 4 extraordinaly spacious and comfortable apartments with total capacity of 10 beds with the possibility of 4 additional beds. All the apartments are modernly furnished and equipped with kitchen including all necessary home appliances, living room, dining and bed room, LCD TV, satellite, Wi-Fi, mini bar, hair dryer, umbrella, basic information about Telč and surroundings as well as themed pictures. The attic apartments are equipped with air condition. There is a private shower bath and WC in each apartment. Additionally in the apartment No. 2, you can find a bath tub in the bed room and in the apartment No. 4 a massage bath tub, a movie theatre and a fireplace.For the relaxation of our guests, the garden shall serve with a terrace where you can sit for a while under an „umbrella“ or in the „barn“ having a barbecue with an unforgettable view of the Štěpnický pond. We are ready to provide you with a qualified advice for the organization of your leisure time. Beautiful town house in Telc.
Reviewed By AndrewLetsGoBikinBeautiful town house right on the square In Telc. The kind staff were waiting to meet us outside at the time we had planned to arrive. They helped us with our luggage and showed us where we could park our car just a hundred meters from the house. We stayed in the VIP room that has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Everything was perfect. Wonderful breakfast as well. Our highest recommendation.

Reviewed By WernRThe main square of Telč is beautiful, the whole town can easily be explored on foot, we had asked for a nice view (and got it). The room (no 3) was great, comfy bed, modern bathroom, and breakfast was also good, served in a cosy room and it will be even nicer in summer (when people can use the little garden) Hint: park the car just briefly in front to unload your luggage, then take it to the town parking back through the gate, take two right turns, and you're there. Put in 60 Kč in coins for 24h and walk back across the little footbridge

Huge misunderstanding
Reviewed By Radek BI booked a room for weekend on Booking.com. Few days before arrival I got a text message that hotel is cancelling my reservation for some reason. They haven't changed anything in reservation on Booking.com, did not reply any of emails and Booking themselves also were unable to contact this place for few days. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!

The main square can get noisy late in the evening or early in the morning, and may disturb the sleep - though was ok for us. Great value for the price.

Reviewed By Denisa ZWe booked a one-night stay at the pension, for 3 people. We chose an attic apartment suitable for up to 4 people. The apartment was beautiful and tasteful, as was the entire pension! We paid in local currency but you can also pay in euro. Wonderful experience!

Mostly unattended; hostess is unfriendly and unhelpful when she is there
Reviewed By Marissa TThe house and rooms are attractive and quaint enough so it is a shame it isn't well managed at all. The woman who apparently runs the B&B barely speaks any English so expect even breakfast times to be conveyed via sign language. That might be overlooked if she had the barest trace of a friendly demeanor. She was so unfriendly that she even insisted that payment be made immediately after breakfast on checkout day, rather than during checkout which is the norm. The house appears to be completely unattended aside from breakfast and a few other random times throughout the day. Twice I tried to complain about the towels which were provided. These were the size of hand towels and were so worn and scratchy....they had reached the stage where you would normally use them for pets or purely as bathmats, albeit they were probably too thin for that even. As I wasn't able to speak to the woman managing the hotel about the towels, I emailed her at the hotel email address. Two emails were ignored, which is really poor as she could have used google translate to figure out what was being conveyed..

I Feel Cheated
Reviewed By czkenThere is more to say but I will start with the charges. I made a reservation through a booking agency that confirmed a price for our room (including taxes) to be 1436 Czech Crowns. We made arrangements for breakfasts at 67 Kc/ea. At registration I was charged 1520 Kc for the room and 90 Kc/ea. for the breakfasts; without explanation. US$7.65 is not an onerous amount but the principle of increasing charges is enough to prevent me from returning to, or recommending, this pension to others. Going on, beware that there is no signage or indication where reception is located. We spent extra time hunting down the proprietor in order to secure our room. When we arrived at 4 pm, our room was not completely ready for us. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes for maintenance and repairs to be made. In the end, I would characterize the room (two-room suite) as basic or bordering on Spartan, no frills; truly two-star. Did I mention that the booking agent and confirmation told us that check out was set at noon. The proprietor told us three times that we must be out by 10:00 am. The proprietor speaks only very limited English. Had I not been able to speak basic Czech, communication would have been very difficult; be advised. On the up side, the location is close enough to the center of tourist attractions, restaurants, grocery, etc. Just beware that the nearby shops close at 4-4:30 pm. Later amenities are found on the main square at much higher prices. If I return to Telc, I will find another accommodation.

Amazing place

Owner is easy to communicate, responsive and helpful, he gave tips and tricks on many things and made our happy moment so much better. Staff is proffesional, friendly, food also very good. Rooms in great condition, very clean. Place is ideal for weddings - big capacity for guests, inner garden, parking, local park and castle nearby, everything in walkable distance. We had over 70 guests and not a single one said anything negative about Hotel Anton.
