Reviewed By gpagotLate arrival, unexpected. Very kind staff at the reception that made a room available and checked if the heating was on, before confirming. Clean and nice bedroom, very quiet although on the main road. Available private parking, that always helps in Italy. Excellent breakfast and it was indeed a pity to leave. But will be back again soon!

Great fish, close to everything near Trieste
Reviewed By Ginna WOver July I was in Trieste with my soon-to-be daughter-in-law's family when I was fortunate to experience the most amazing food and wine, vistas and places, all their favorites. One of the ones that that they frequent and chose to take us for dinner is the Gran Osteria Tre Noci, that is both a restaurant, cantina, and small hotel. We sat on the Terrace outside the Cantina just looking at the forest - we were on the north side which kept it cooler in summer heat and they are on the wrong side of the road to have views of the Adriatic. The wine selection is excellent and the fresh fish is amazing. Pesce Al Forno, antipasto, caprese salad, pasta, Busera di Scampi, and plenty of wine for 7 people wasn't even $30USDpp .. great value. The fish and scampi so fresh, light, and perfect, the tomatoes and bufalo were perfection, as was the pasta. Definitely worth the stop between Sistiana and Trieste..

L'appartamento ha una bella vista sul mare, è nuovo ed ha a disposizione tutti i comfort necessari per un soggiorno perfetto. L'agenzia che gestisce questi appartamenti sanno fare il loro lavoro e come far tornare il cliente. Sono stati molto cordiali. La prenotazione prevede un entrata dalla zona per i residenti ed ovviamente ti danno la possibilità di lasciare la propria auto nel garage del Porto Piccolo. Da consigliare assolutamente e soprattutto da tornarci.

Reviewed By Wolves52Funky place! It had a peculiar odor so we opened the window, door, and ran the A/C to filter the air. That made it tolerable. The decor was very cute, and the kitchenette was practical. The queen bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was poor compared to other lodgings we’ve had on this trip: lots of sugary and starchy junk foods but no eggs and only one cold meat selection. The coffee was good but only cold cows milk to put in it. The best feature was quiet during the night.

Reviewed By enga84If in doubt, go to Allegra Fattoria with your kids! It’s in Malchina (one of the villages behind Sistiana, so it’s easy to reach). It’s a petting zoo-farm-playground-restaurant perfect for kids with good quality food and good customer service. Food is not your typical Carso gnocchi with goulash (good but a bit boring after a while right?!). They have both meats and seafood, which is unusual up in the hills here, and even a pizza oven (which is even more unusual). Today several fresh home made pastas (thick homemade spaghetti anyone? ???), squid peas and mint sauce paccheri past, and very good fried calamari. Nice to find classics but also some really creative dishes. Not Carso cheap (no dishes for 6 euros, more like double that) but v good quality and the setting is lovely & super kid friendly. Wish I’d discovered this place earlier! Good size playground, farm and animals (horses ponies goats sheep geese pigs rabbits!) in a lovely petting zoo/farm setting right behind the restaurant. Make sure you book.

Reviewed By Xranitel1We stop there fot one night and like the place and theo owner..shew asv ery nice and helped us with everything we asked for. Big bad, jacuzzi, good breakfast and have a wifi. There 2 places to eat very close to the villa. A little bit hard to find with gps..

Reviewed By ValeAle82Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti in questo delizioso appartamento dove non mancava proprio nulla: cucina ben attrezzata,letti comodi,tutto arredato con gusto e ben pulito. Ha un cortile interno dove è possibile mangiare o prendere il sole, circondato da piante di lavanda e rosmarino. Ci si sente proprio a casa. Alenka e suo marito ci hanno accolto davvero bene: tanti suggerimenti su posti da visitare,dove mangiare e tutte le informazioni utili sull'appartamento,addirittura acqua e cibo a disposizione! Ci ha permesso di portare i nostri 2 gatti senza problemi.La zona è tranquilla, vicina alla stazione ma non si sente il rumore dei treni. Per raggiungere le spiagge serve un mezzo di trasporto. Consiglio senza dubbio questa sistemazione.
