Reviewed By MarkJayRobertsWe recently stayed at the Castello delle Serre as a part of a V Sattui Tuscany wine tour. Our previous experiences with organized trips were trips we had won through our businesses. On those trips the trip provider did everything they could and covered every detail to ensure that we had a wonderful time. This experience at the Castle was equal if not better than any of those trips. The attention to detail, the distinct uniqueness of each experience each and every day was unparalleled. From the accommodations where every detail from the authenticity of the rooms, to the cleanliness, to the quietness to the gourmet meals to the day trips and finally to the staff, everything far exceeded our expectations. And the staff was, in fact, the most gracious and caring group we had the privilege to be cared for from. The owners of the Castle, Salvatore and Antonio, are using their God given talents in exactly the right business. My wife and I will schedule another trip in the not too distant future because the value far exceeded the cost. I have recommended the trip to several of my friends. There is nothing that I believe can be improved. A perfect experience!

We advice everybody to visit this B&B and to enjoy the village where it is located. The services in this B&B is very good, the rooms and the beds are perfect. Compliments to this B&B, they make great work from the design of their B&B. We hope once to come back!

Reviewed By 325robertor325It’s not just a nice and relaxing place but also a great base for your daily trips around the best Tuscany places and Umbrian cities and it you want to relax the swimming pool is a good option. I spent a few days with my girlfriend and our stay was amazing also thanks to the owners Gessica and his father Enzo.

We also love that the people who run the place are passionate about quality and authenticity. We love it SO much that my partner and I decided to have our wedding there. It was the most amazing experience, for us and our friends and family. Fabrizio has been extremely helpful, professional and reliable during the planning and we have had trust in him throughout the whole process. With good reason. We want to say thank you so much (again) to Fabrizio, Gabriella, Beatrice, Anna and the rest of the staff for making every single part of our wedding weekend absolutely perfect! We had 75 guests and everyone stayed at least two nights at Modanella. We had a pizza and lasagna party by the pool on Friday. A tent with decorations was set up for us, as well as tables, food and drinks. We could just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset as more of our friends and family arrived. On Saturday, our wedding day, we had a beautiful ceremony outside, followed by an aperitif in the garden. The staff had provided tasty finger food and served many glasses of delicious sparkling rosé. The dinner was in the magnificient courtyard. The tables, the decorations, lights, sound system, flowers - everything - was perfect! Fabrizio was so nice and accomodating when we chose the food and wine for our wedding - adjusting things to fit our taste without any extra cost. Speaking of prices: this is a place where you truly get value for money. Our guests are still going on about what an absolutt dream it was. Some of our friends have said it was one of the best experiences of their life. We can truly not say enough good things about this place and we look forward to coming back next year! - Julie & Daniel

This place is for me the most wonderful place ever (even though having been at paradise places like Maldives etc.). The family that runs this little jewel is so friendly and nice and their parents do a wonderful job with cooking for dinner - it is just fabulous. Breakfast is typical italian style but I missed nothing. The style and decoration of the buildings, rooms and environment is all made deeply from their heart with tons of love and passion. Every little detail is just marvelous. It is extremely clean, nicely arranged and the colors of the stone walls is just love for the eyes. The piazza/patio in the center is such a beautiful place where outdoor breakfast, lunch and dinner are so enjoyable - I thought I was dreaming all the time. Everything is just perfect and I find no proper words to express my feelings. The pool is a wonderful and quiet place, offering a brilliant view over the Tuscany hills. Every room has its own umbrella and 2 sun beds by the pool - no reservation required, no disputes, no trouble. The whole stay means enjoying a relaxing holiday and peace from start to end. It does make a huge difference when the owners live in the same property. They take so much care for their guests and the whole environment so that there is nothing to worry about or to argue about. The place is located right in the middle of some of the most beautiful foto-spots of the Tuscany. Only a few minutes drive to wonderful landscapes and cypress-alleys. Siena is about 30 minutes away, easy to reach by a highway nearby. The little village "Serre di Rapolano" can be reached on foot in a few minutes (but it is quite a steep hill to walk down!). It offers nice little streets to explore and is absolutely quiet - no tourists, thus no restaurants or shops. I will definitely come here again as this is for me the best place in Europe to enjoy the most relaxing holidays I can imagine.

Reviewed By freefallin60The accommodation is in a large multilevel home with loads of character, and beautifully furnished throughout, The accommodation is roomy and very comfortable and offers a nice balcony and shared lounge / dining for guests (only two rooms). The guest family are very friendly and helpful and provided a lovely breakfast. Serre di Rapolano is a quaint little Italian town. We fully recommend this B&B

Reviewed By abibiromaQuesto piccolissimo B&B è molto curato e l'arredamento è ricco di oggetti d'epoca e d'artigianato locale. Le camere sono curate e lo stile è perfettamente in linea il mood del piccolo paesino toscano in cui il palazzo è allocato. I punti forti sono la posizione centrale nel paese, la breve distanza in macchina dalle Terme di Rapolano e il giardino. Perfetto per una coppia, molto frequentato da Inglesi e turisti stranieri in generale.
