Hotel Costa dei Fiori is immersed in a luxuriant private park and has an informal, cosy atmosphere. Overlooking the sea, it offers three sea water swimming pools including the infinity pool where you can enjoy romantic moments. It is a regenerating and starting point to easily reach some of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, including Chia and Tuerredda, considered the most beautiful beaches in the World. The archaeological area of Nora and the tourist town of Pula are at just 3km away. At the client's disposal (at a charge and bookable in advance) there is a daily shuttle bus service to one of the beautiful beaches of Chia, to the town of Pula or to the beach of Nora can be booked. Through the hotel Reception, it is also possible to arrange several services such as car hire, scooters and mountain bikes hire, excursions by boat or by Mini Van, Diving, Golf course 18 + 9 holes at 2 km.

The first time we visited as a couple and always said we would return if we were lucky enough to have a child in the future. Fast forward 5 years, as we returned. This time as husband and wife and with a 2 year old in tow. The hotel was exactly how we remembered, the staff were all wonderful, they all made you feel welcome, and couldn’t do enough for you. They were excellent with communications pre visit, ensuring we had a suite. We booked a hire car for the stay again, and I would recommend this to anyone looking to visit as the hotel is a drive away from places. However they do have shuttles if you can’t drive, or don’t want to hire a car: We arrived later than planned in the evening due to an unexpected delay with flights and the team were there to welcome us and make us feel instantly at home. Their team had prepared a lovely room service meal for us that we walked into and relaxed straight away. We had a small 2 year old child, and she and we, were made to feel very very welcome by all the staff and management. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Dinner at the restaurant early for our child, no problem. Dinner for our child in our room, no problem. Dinner in the bistro, no problem. Each time, we were asked hat would you like, and we had a custom menu every night for our child, which was amazing service. The only improvement we would say would be nice if they had some kind of small child’s food menu for parents to choose from , however you cannot find too much fault when the team cook a custom meal each night for you! Maitre Marco and his team were very friendly and very warm and hospitable. Their team work hard across many shifts breakfast, lunch and dinner, but clearly they all love working as a team and love their jobs and place of work. Service with a smile is always guaranteed. Nicola the GM was as happy and as welcoming as he was 5 years ago, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was busy but never ever felt busy, if that makes sense. Their are loads of sun loungers, a big pool, a kids pool and a beautiful little beach with an infinity pool and plenty of open space. We love the hotel and resort feel, it just works so well. If you are considering a stay in south Sardinia, this is a place you have to visit. You won’t be disappointed. We’re already looking forward to our third visit sometime in the future. Thank you!

Reviewed By 406beatricevReally enjoyed the half day spa package that includes a meal and lounging by the pool. Nicely designed spa area full of relaxing spots, especially the water beds! By the pool, wonderful, attentive service by Ivan who makes sure that everyone is fed and watered. All details are perfect from the calm atmosphere to the delicate music. I recommend having a ride on the rickshaw bikes. Orti di Nora is a beautiful, rural oasis, worth spending time at. PS: they serve the best olives in the world!!

Excellent accommodation and really first class quality of service with enough activities/sports for young children to be entertained every day. String covid hygiene including on site medical team but all staff were very helpful and engaging. Restaurants pricey but top rated food. Ideal and whole family keen to return.

Ok, but unbelievably expensive…
Reviewed By andrewbF5624SRWe came to FV looking for a different family holiday having travelled extensively to other countries/resorts. Sardinia is a lovely place and well worth the travelling time. Before booking FV suggest you do your research because there is so little information about how it actually works and the detailed info is lacking. Although the staff are great, the evening entertainment spectacular, there are quite a few things that do not live upto the 5-star price for this resort. The main criticism we had was how eye-wateringly expensive everything is once you get into resort. We got a taxi to go 15mins out of resort, which was organised by the “travel concierge” and it cost EUR150!!! That is one-way! My advice is to source your own transport/taxi if you want to go anywhere. Similarly, things like boat trips are also >500EUR for a morning, a massage at the spa can easily set you back EUR200, and even the small things like drinks and even water left in your hotel room are all soooo expensive. It just feels like you are constantly being “fleeced” which put us off a bit. Most of the pools are not heated, which when we went wasn’t too much of an issue because it was very hot. The “garden rooms” are very hit and miss; some have a scrub of dirt and a broken deck while others are quite nice, probably depends what you paid. My recommendation is book the il castello hotel which is nice. The food in the incudes buffet is ok, no where near as good as would be expected in other 5-star hotels we have visited, but ok. The Forte Grill does a decent steak and, surprisingly, the inclusive wine is ok. We did not like the Sardegna restaurant at all, very poor food. The higher end restaurants are incredibly expensive/not included in the basic dinner price. The pizzeria pizzas (only open at lunchtime) are great although again expensive. One other thing is that the place virtually shuts down between 2-6pm and it’s very hard to get anything to eat or organised in these times. In short, there are better value for money destinations and we wouldn’t return. If you go, do your research and try to source things like trips and taxis elsewhere.

Amazing stay for couples’ retreat

The resort is amazing, has got plently of facilities: Sports venues, bars and restaurants as well as places where to relax such as pools, spas and obviously the beach. The service it’s excellent, the staff is very attentive and ready to respond quickly to any request. We definitely recommend it to families too, as the resort has got a baby club and places where children can have fun. Forte Village really gives you a 360 degree vacation. Will definitely go back!

Mastering unkindness of behaviour: how to make your stay uncomfortable

Jacuzzi ok. There is also a spa, we didn't try it so I cannot comment . There is no reasonable beach close by (the one close is terrible with rocks and algs) Room: superior room is for Smurfs (puffi). There is no space . The room is for 2 people but there is no space to put 2 luggages, no space once you open the closet. Noise from the road and in the evening from the restaurants. Toilet accessories are not according to a 4 star hotel : plastic cup for the teetbrush (it doesn t work), no Kleenex, no cotton to remove makeup. Tv signal terrible (e.g. realtime doesn t work) Service: staff at the reception and for breakfast are acting mechanically and often replying to you in a sarcastic way. They makes you uncomfortable, for sure you don't feel welcome. A more friendly behaviour would be really appreciated to make the stay more comfortable. Only one day we experienced a friendly lady running the service during breakfast. Price: the money you pay is not worth. For sure a place where you don't won't to visit again.

We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and guidance throughout our stay by Valentina, our guardian angel, who organized everything to perfection, from the reservation of deckchairs to the starred restaurants or even thought of the late check out! As regulars of Forte Village, we again particularly liked the general quality of service this year, which is exceptional for Europe. Special mention to Davide at the Castello pool! The food is always incredible! Breakfast at Le Cavaliere is an experience. We also had the chance to experience the cuisine of two great Michelin star chefs in attendance, Andrea Bertone and Heinz Beck! A huge congratulations ?! Exceptional cuisine in a magical and intimate setting without the formality of their respective restaurants! What a pleasure! Marek, who has been faithful to the tennis position, has not betrayed Forte Village's reputation as one of the ten best hotels in the world for the practice of this sport. The courts and support are exceptional! What a wonderful setting to play tennis! Again, a huge thank you to Valentina from the swimming team who helped our 5 year old daughter to get the hang of it... and to Francesca the babysitter! A very nice relationship! Long live Pistillo and the baby-dance. Last but not least, thanks to Valeria Garau for her patience and flexibility in organizing our stay and to Mara Mercuri who has always been present and available for all these years! Heaven on Earth
Reviewed By 327denisavIf you look for a heaven on Earth, a beautiful quiet place with incredible scenery and perfect service, Is Morus Relais is definitely the right choice. The place itself is over the top, with its huge garden/ park full of oleanders, hibiscus, pine and olive trees and other vegetation and two private sand beaches directly next to the hotel. However, in addition to all this, the atmosphere and allover fabulous service make Is Morus unbeatable. All the staff is very polite, kind and helpful – in every moment you can feel that the guests´ well is the most important here. The hotel manager, the ladies at the reception, the chef and the pastry chef and their team, the waiters, barkeepers, lifeguards, housekeepers and the other staff provide every single quest with an excellent service, combining both high professionality and graciousness. They kind of become „a part of your family“ and give you another reason for wanting to come back to this amazing hotel as soon as possible. In spite of the spacious facility, the hotel capacity is not even 50 rooms in the main building which allows the staff not only to treat the hotel guests in a unique way but also gives more than enough privacy for whatever you decide to do or wherever you want to spend you time – whether it is the beach (the sunbeds, towels and parasols are free of any extra charge), the garden, the pool, the bar or any of the hotel restaurants. I was accommodated in the main building, only about 50 meters from the beach and the sea, the Mediterranean type of room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with a spacious balcony to sit and watch the sea. There are also a few villas in the huge garden – certainly a great choice if you want to come with the whole family or friends and want even more privacy. The dining is fabulous at Is Morus – terrific food served at the terrace-type restaurants, with one side open to view and enjoy the sea even when eating. The cuisine offers all what foreigners love about Italian food – local, high quality products like fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, pasta, superb meat, great wine, perfect coffee… If you like to eat, you´ll get spoiled here more than you could have imagined… There is also a large swimming pool with a panorama view, overlooking the sea, about 50 meters from the main building – I haven´t tried it as I preferred the sea all the time, but, in stone, it looked perfectly maintained and inviting. I haven´t had the chance to try out the spa either, as I was so focused on other activities, but it also looked very inviting and romantic. And as for the sea – that is a dream at Is Morus. The spacious, long private white sand beach (and the other beaches along the coast as well) gives the opportunity not only for lazy enjoying, but also for long walks or swimming along the beautiful coast – a breathtaking mixture of wide abandoned sand beaches, rough rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. The water is crystal clear, absolutely top. Is Morus turned out a love at first sight for me, and definitely a love forever. Its atmosphere, the bond between the wild nature at one side and the highest comfort at the other one, and the kindness of the staff create a unique combination and a very, very special place that makes one feel in paradise.
