Classy, beautiful and relaxing stay
Reviewed By Tig68L'Approdo Thalasso Resort is a pearl in the Cilento coast. Located in San Marco that is a very small village with a touristic pier and not much more, Approdo offers a really superior accommodation with a lot of plus. First, in the hotel there is a beautiful and well mantained SPA where you can enjoy some of the best sea water treatments for your body, skin and mind. Second the rooms are designed like a yacht and fully equipped with any ancillary you might need. Stylish and classy. Third the breakfast is SUMPTUOUS and, believe me, probably the best ever had worldwide. A huge offer of homemade sweets, cakes, fruits, vegetables, local salami and cheases: really impressive for the vastity and the quality of the food. Unforgettable. Fourth, there is a sea water pool right in front of the sea and a private sand beach that offer included sunbeds and umbrellas. Our 8 nights stay has been a true pleasure and we really recommend this place. A separate mention for the restaurant, Donna Elvira, that I will describe separately: top quality again and a wide offer of wines, not only local. Surely not cheap but the high quality food has its price... We are truly delighted by Approdo Resort.

Comfortable and beautiful B&B in a peaceful area
Reviewed By Linda2011ismWe really enjoyed our stay here. The family who run the B&B are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a very comfortable, clean and modern room with a terrace over-looking the pool and garden. It was so relaxing and we spent a considerable amount of time there. It was lovely to have a swim in the afternoon. It was normally very quiet and, at times, felt as if we had our own private villa! The breakfast is worth a mention. There was a huge selection of delicious homemade cakes, biscuits, pizzas and savoury dishes. There was also yoghurt and fresh fruit available. The B&B is ideally positioned on the outskirts of San Marco and very near to Castellabate. In this way you can escape the crowds very easily, but not be isolated. We definitely want to return.

Reviewed By Marisaiova struttura si trova a pochi passi dal centro di San Marco di C/bate , quindi un punto strategico per raggiungere il porto ,la piazzetta principale e la vicinissima Castellabate (10’ auto) . Le camere sono piccole, ma ben curate e pulite, perfette insper soggiorni brevi.. Il giardino su cui affacciano le camere , è paradisiaco. Staff gentile e disponibile. Buona la colazione..

It's near Paestum , the archeological area of Velia and the small village Acciaroli, Palinuro. It looks on the harbor of San Marco, near Licosa island famous for the Ulisse myth. The art decò style is well- balanced with the surrounding environment. The superior rooms with sea view offer emotional sunsets.
Nice and quiet
Reviewed By JankanHHWe stayed one night with dinner included. Dinner was as I did suspect not very good but also not bad just below average. We paid 19 Euro extra to be upgraded to a suiteroom and that was Worth the extra Money. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Parking was very easy lots of parking. Wifi worked good most of the time but sometimes a bit slow. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is 4 different buildings and for a good view you should choose the last building. All rooms have balconies with chairs and a thing to dry your clothes if they are wet from washing or from the beach. Restaurant was closed for lunch so we walked outside in a very quiet small Town and did manage to find a Place to eat. We walked down to the beach very Close just some steps down and water is terrific very Clean and not lots of people. Nothing but just a beach no umbrellas or chairs to hire. Would stay again but would prefer not to have dinner included just eat outside. There was Always some of the staff around that did speak English which is nice.

Reviewed By Gert_NLWe loved our stay at Salvatore and Consiglia. They are very friendly and helpful. Although we did nor reserve a dinner, Consiglia was able to make us an excellent meal when we arrived late. The next day Salvatore did not let us cycle to San Marco as it would be too dangerous on the road, but insisted to give us a ride to a restaurant and picked us up later that evening. The room and setting are very quiet, relaxed and wonderful.

Reviewed By Anna RWe had a very great stay at Casa Vacanze Il Cenito!! This review is a little late,sorry but just wanted to write something of course. We stayed with my husband for 5 nights and we had a car so we would just drive the nearby villages for dinner, but it was so very relaxing to be at Casa Vacanze and Caterina and Emilio are fantastic people and hosts. They really care to make you feel at home and relaxed. Also, they were very nice to upgrade us for no extra charge to a bigger room with the private patio because it was available! They gave us great recommendations for restaraunts- definitely go to Tartaruga for lunch and dinner! It's the best. You are in good hands with Il Cenito and you will have a beautiful stay. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By LindaG733Background: six friends on a walking holiday in the Cilento region. Two nights at the Antonietta booked. Arrival: we were dropped off after a day of walking. Nice reception. Rooms: pleasant, a little small but very clean and perfectly fine. Loads of hot water for showers. Good WiFi. Food: breakfast good, buffet. Breads, fresh croissants, fruit etc. We did not eat in the hotel for dinner. Hotel: nice overall, outside areas not particularly in use as it was early in the season and everywhere was very quiet. We ate in a very pleasant restaurant in the square opposite the hotel as we were six vegetarians and it was cheap and basic. The hotel is in a fantastic position, no complaints.
