Reviewed By Richard PTolle familiengeführte Pension und Restaurant. Sehr sauberes, schönes, grosses Zimmer mit Balkon. Badezimmer etwas klein aber ganz neu und schön. Sehr gutes Essen und guter Service - konnten bei Halbpension teilweise die Speisen sogar auswählen. Grosser, schöner Pool. Aussicht und Lage optimal für Wanderungen und Ausflüge, Zufahrtsstrasse sehr schmal, jedoch grosser Parkplatz vor der Pension.

Reviewed By pattytygerWe spent 2 nights at this wonderful place. The place is amazing with a view of the mountains in a relaxing location, out of the crowd. We were in a junior suite: the room was very new, wonderful furnishing, 2 balconies with an amazing view of the mountains. The spa is very nice, and new. The quality of the food is very good, ingredients are fresh and well cooked. Just a small remark on the menu: menus are created mainly for foreign people, not for Italians. You can see it from how the menu is composed (one day there was a yogurt and cucumber mix as a first dish). We had fish for 2 days, and being in the mountains, we were expecting at least 1 meat dish in 2 days. But the fish dishes were very good. The service is very good, lot of attentions to details and we were very spoiled.

A nice place to stay
Reviewed By Ali BNot very far from Meran you can find the hotel Hofbrunn. From the street it doesn't look very impressive but from inside you will be surprised. Most of the rooms have a generous balcony looking at the lovely valley of Meran. The rooms in the upper level directly under the roof offer you a really high selling which is very lovely. The hotel is new renovated, a typical wood style of the region combined with modern bathrooms, light and friendly colors and big windows. A generous garden terrace invites you to rest, a chessboard waits for a game and the pool is not the common little water pond, but a real grownup pool where sporty swimmers can really work out. The breakfast is from 7 to 11 am and quite generous, though the regular coffee isn't really something for coffee lovers. But you can ask the waiters for espresso or cappuccino and you will get a good cup of decent Coffee - with no surcharge! Ask for water at check in though there is no minibar, nor water provided at the rooms. I'd like to have this in a four star hotel and this little service would fit perfectly to the rest of the hotel concept. Nearly every day is one activity provided as trekking to the near natural beauty spots. The staff is friendly and very welcoming their guests. Last tip: ask for the possibility of a late checkout. Regular time is noon, which is a bit early for a leisure hotel.

Reviewed By missfluffyLocated in a delightful small town, close to all amenities, this was a very pleasant two week stay we had in August. Lovely view from the balcony which we enjoyed after a walk in the local area. The owner was very helpful and I'd highly recommend this place to stay

Dependable place, good value
Reviewed By eh_64We stayed here for 5 nights early July. It's located on a busy road but most of the rooms face the river valley with a beautiful view of Schenna. Rooms are not very large but comfortable with a balcony. The television didn't work very well - they are small and the satellite reception wasn't working. We didn't use the pool in the basement of the hotel - it's rather small and seemed not relevant for this type of hotel. Breakfast was good, lots of fresh bread and the usual German cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, etc. The service was friendly and efficient. The rates are very reasonable, for four people (2 adults - 2 children) we only paid 89 Euros for 2 rooms.

Reviewed By Christian MEine richtig schöne familiäre Pension.Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Die Außenanlage ist ebenso sehr gepflegt und sauber.Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her.? Margreth und Rudolf sind immer freundlich und helfen wo sie können. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichlich. Auf Wunsch kann man auch dort zu Abend essen.

Äußerst schöne und große Ferienwohnung
Reviewed By michaelD1968BYEine äußerst schöne und große Ferienwohnung in bester Lage. Alles war super sauber! Zwei große Balkone und ein sehr schöner Pool und eine sehr sympathische Vermieterin rundeten den äußerst positiven Eindruck ab. In 10 Fahrminuten ist man in Meran und ringsum sind dem Wandererherzen keine Grenzen gesetzt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
