Stayed for 2 nights recently for a family wedding and also had our dogs; we stayed in the family cottage which slept 4. Cottage was compact but had everything you needed for a short stay. Plenty of room and comfortable beds too. The only downside was the lighting, which wasn't brilliant, and also lack of sockets in one of the bedrooms. All staff members worked tirelessly and were always friendly & happy to chat. Special mention has to go to Kasha, who, on the day of the actual wedding seemed to be working morning, noon & night...always with a smile and nothing too much trouble! She is a certainly a credit to the team. Another mention goes to GM Jonathan, who provided us with enough titbits to feed our dogs for a couple of days! They were certainly very happy and would love to visit again! Jonathan was always happy to chat, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The venue is beautiful, great location and we'd love to visit again soon. Thank you :-)

Dirty Dirty Dirty so Dissapointed

My husband and I booked in to the hotel for 3 days and were so looking forward to our stay, but the dirt in the bathroom around the base of the toilet was horrendous i complained at the reception and the man came to the room and cleaned it. On the following day I had a shower and was horrified to see the black dirt muck at the back of the taps and under the bath hand rails. My husband didn't want me to make a fuss so as we were leaving next morning I did what i could. My husband has not long come out of hospital after suffering from sepsis and has a catheter fitted so everything has to be very clean. Premier have always had a very high standard of cleanliness so I was disgusted to see this. Yes they have had to let staff go due to covid 19 pandemic but to allow their standards drop so dramatically is not acceptable. Needless to say we will not be going back The staff were so friendly especially Matthew on reception and the staff in the cookhouse and pub attached to the hotel were fantastic. The breakfast was very good as was the evening meals

Myself and my partner came down a week or so ago to have a little nose around caravans, with just the idea of owning a caravan. On this day, Declan popped out to check if we were OK, and if he could help in anyway? We were unsure where to start and if it was something we actually wanted to do. Without pressure or being pushy, Declan got a few keys and let us have a look around some caravans. We felt that this was a friendly approach as nothing was pushy, and he answered a lot of questions we had. After looking around, we then left with Declans number if we needed any further assistance. We spent a few days looking into a bit more details around owning a caravan, and subletting it out. We spoke to someone online and they then put us back in touch with Declan. We came down, and viewed a few caravans. And again, Declan was not pushy at all. He was very approachable and understanding of the questions we had. He then took the time to show us around the park, and went into great detail of the park and what to expect. He even went the extra mile to use his own car to take us to some sites for our potential caravan. And although we had asked for a discount (which we are grateful for, thank you) he tried every effort to help us. Although we were unsure, as you can imagine it's a huge commitment financially. Declan wasn't pushy, and he has been there to support at any time of the day. He is very friendly, supportive and has a great customer focus on what the customer needs and wants rather than being pushy into getting a sale.

Disgusting!!!

Reviewed By cazang

Please think again before staying here!!! Firstly there was not enough crockery to facilitate 4 people, let enough enough equiptment to cook anythink. The flat was dirty an in need of a deep clean and a refurb. Sticky floors and windows, and thick with dust!! Kitchen cupboards wouldnt even close as they didnt fit!!! Sink in the bath was dirty and clogged up, and the sink had a part missing so things could be dropped and lost down it!! There was an iron but no ironing board!!! Sofa bed as couldnt even sleep on as it was broken, so all 4 of us had to share a double bed. So between that and the noise from outside and flat above we had very little sleep the whole time we were there!! Thankfully we were only there 2 nights!!! Now having to book a trip to an osteopath as my neck is in agony after attempting to sleep on the sofa bed the first night!!!

And, if you choose an upgrade, you'll be able to see the sea from your room as well and enjoy a minibar and a complimentary continental/lite breakfast.

Alright

I stayed here a few weeks ago with the partner, it's better if you can get a room with a sea view, because the promenade near the hotel was less desirable and you can't see the seas unless you stay on the top floor. The hotel is small and they close the bar quite early, what surprised us was, they gave us a 'doggy bag' of cold breakfast the night before to save them getting up early. Well..the breakfast was small and we were hungry, it contained 2 tiny kids yogurts, 2 croissants, 2 small boxes of cereal with the partner didn't like that could be eaten out of the box, sour grapes and sour apples. We were just hungry. The room overlooked terraced houses and only 1 window would open a little bit, tv didn't work, shower didn't work, no plug for bath, only 2 bottles of shower gel. No individual soap for the sink. Tiny bathroom, enough room to use the loo of hop in the bath.

We stayed here on Saturday night after reading great reviews. I have to say it is one of the nicest places I ever stayed. Elvira gave us a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We instantly felt at ease and sat in the library in the afternoon where Elvira brought us coffee and warm mince pies. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicous, David is an exceptional cook. The bedroom was huge and homely, and totally in keeping with the history of this beautiful home. The bed was soooo comfortable it was like being wrapped in a big hug, we both slept so well. Breakfast was also fabulous with lovely little extras that you would not normally get , a beautifully presented fresh mango compote with yoghurt and fresh berries along with a croissant to have before the extremely tasty full English breakfast and great coffee! I highly recommend a visit . Thank you David and Elvira for a lovely stay, we will be back !

Walking distance to the sea

Reviewed By jessimo

We stayed in a friends caravan for a few days the location of the park is ideal you can easily walk to the seafront about a 10-15 minute walk and it's right by the train station so if you don't drive you can get to the park without any fuss. We didn't use any facilities on the camp site we were just using it as a base to travel in the area but what i can make out you can purchase a pass to use them. The outside part for the kids looks lovely and i believe its brand newish not that long been done. It's a large campsite and we were in the middle its just a shame it didn't have another entrance at the back but its understandable with security i guess.
