Reviewed By Matthijsh1192Great B&B! The owners are really friendly. When we arrived there was no water, but this was quickly fixed. After that we tasted different wines with the owner and had a nice chat. The breakfast is good and more than enough to start the day. Definitely recommend this place! :D

Reviewed By DigicalB&B right on the beach. Cico was very relaxed and friendly. Good price/quality for the room and breakfast. The terrace was really big and had two swinging chairs. About 15 min walk via the beach to the Scala dei Turchi.

Covid cancellation refused
Reviewed By expii0603In Feb 2020 we booked a 2 night stay through Expedia for the month of May 2020 at Scala dei Turchi resort. By mid March 2020, the pandemic hit the world and all countries closed their borders. We contacted the hotel to cancel our reservation. They refused to reimburse us and only offered us a credit good until Dec 2020. All the other hotels that we booked through Expedia gladly reimbursed us. As we all know, Italy just reopened their doors for tourism only in June 2021. Extremely disappointed with this hotel.

Don’t go for a classic room
Reviewed By Susanna_PatrickWe checked into Giallonardo on our Sicily Road trip in June 2022. The staff was friendly, but there was an odd sense dissatisfaction in the air, allready upon arrival. We were shown our ‘Classic Room’, which resembled more of a cabin than a room. ‘Well it’s just for sleeping’, we were told. Not very helpful, but since all other rooms were taken, we settled in. Unfortunately the room is right next to the kitchen and the clattering of dishes, the humming of machines will prevent you from rest or sleep until kitchen is done. Yes, they have other rooms, but all in all.. it was just not an inviting experience. Our agent reacted quickly and booked us into another guest house (see later review). If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay, choose NOT the classic room at Giallonardo. Having said this.. the staff was understanding and reacted well when we left. Breakfast was good and the location is nice, too. The place just did not feel right for us

The house is stunning, Daniela a wonderful host and her team super friendly and helpful. You must love this place. Oh and yes, dinner was exceptional, too. Reviewed By AlexPopescuMe nad my wife really felt well at La Bianca Scogliera. Sig. Grazilea is a great host and also a great cook. Nearby Scala dei Turchi, the place has a parking lot. Our room was clean and well equiped, next to the yard. If you travel nearby, stop at La Bianca Scogliera!

For a relaxing holiday in the enchanted atmosphere of the Scala dei Turchi. The property is located just steps from the beach of Punta Grande and the fascinating ruins of the ancient Roman Villa. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with TV, wi fi, hairdryer, safe and bathroom. Also you can have time to relax on the terrace.

There is a gated parking lot and entrance, so it helps to have a phone number, (our phone wasn't working). The breakfast is good, coffee ok. It is especially nice to be so close to the beach. and it's quiet.

Clean and quiet B&B
Reviewed By 483jenninWe stayed here for two nights in order to visit Scala dei Turchi and the beach. B&B itself is good: clean rooms, good water pressure (for those with long hair!), good breakfast and nice staff. The family didn't speak English, but we managed. There is no sea view and even though the distance from the beach is only 700 m, you should go by car, since the B&B is up to hill.

We are 200 meters away from the access to the beach of Scala dei Turchhi, 5 km to Porto Empedocle (Vigata) with ferry to Lampedusa and Pirandello's House, 15 km away is the famous Valle dei Templi, 25 km to Torre Salsa'a natural reserve and Eraclea Minoa's Greek ruins and the mud volcanoes of the Maccalube. A strategic point for a holiday of sun, sea and culture.

Reviewed By Michele AThis was our 2nd time my husband and I visited. Francesco and his wife Antonella could not have been more welcoming! We stayed in the blue room. It had a comfortable full size bed a desk and 2 end tables. All of the art work was done by Antonella. There was a bathroom with an enclosed shower. It was a simple place with a lot of warmth. Every morning we woke to coffee, pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereal. This was all served in a lovely tented garden area that was surrounded by lemon trees. Francesco has an arrangement with the adjoining parking lot for the car. Since the B&B is walking distance to Scalli die Turchi this is a bonus. Parking is a bit crazy and hard to find spots on the street. My husband and I are planning our next vacation to Sicily and B&B Scavuzzo will be part of it. Thank you Francesco and Antonella it was a pleasure spending time with you.
