Reviewed By T1731PTstevefVery strange resort, is Nice and quiet, very clean however that's all this place is. No pool, no resturant, no breakfast no anything other than a room. The rooms are clean and comfortable and has all you need, probably better suited to business visitors. You will also need your own transport as there is no taxi service or resort pickup service.

Clean, Poor Location, Expensive & Beware of Fire Alams

The room was clean, the staff courteous, the hotel bar & restaurants were very expensive for the area, the location was poor, parkng a nghtmare, and the swimmng pool was exceptionally small with a distinct smell from factories in the area. On one of my nights, the fire alarm in my room went off and woke me up, the front desk indicated they would send a technician and when none had arrived after 10 minutes, the front desk indicates all clear without inspecting the room or offering an apology. Very disappointing. This happened again but this time in another room.

Reviewed By V739OVdavidtThe room we had was a good size, was clean and smelt fresh when we walked in, the bed was very comfortable. The shower hose should be replaced it was like a hose. It was disappointing that the Fresco restaurant was closed as the others that were open in Mae Pim were mainly seafood ones and for what was on offer were expensive. Breakfast at the hotel was a good one. The locals do like to hit the beach with pick up music at a high level n the evenings. Mae Pim is a lovely safe family beach, such a pity it was so dirty with polystyrene, plastics and assorted other rubbish that the tide had dumped there and no one seemed to be bothered to clean the place up, not sure we will be back.

Pretty nice little resort in a pretty not nice area...
Reviewed By Tom GI was pleasantly surprised by this cute little resort. The bungalows were placed in a nicely designed garden with small streams with fish, little waterfalls, lots of trees and two big pools. Even a sand bottom pool, which was cleaner than the previous reviewer suggested. Though some of the gardens were in disrepair and need some maintenance, it was generally a very pleasant place to be. Our bungalow was clean and cute, and had an outdoor shower which is rare for a place like this. Also, a great breakfast! But I wish I was able to look past the trash on the beach and the broken down buildings in the area, like the locals seem to do. Thais somehow seem unaffected by this, but for me to stand on what could be a beautiful beach, and have to walk around endless cups, plastic bags, pieces of washed up trash, colours my experience of being there. Why the local government doesn't have a program to clean up one of its precious resources never ceases to amaze me. So enjoy the resort, and the good seaside seafood restaurants just down the soi. But put your blinders on...

Reviewed By dukethedog2Stayed 3 nights on route to Ko Chang, the hotel is on the beach with large room with patio doors facing the ocean Breakfast was quite poor very limited choice for the price and restaurant adds 17% to all purchases so we only bought one drink whilst staying here, there are beech bars just 500 m away which are great value. The beach is dirty as no one bothers to clean up what the tide washes in. The location is great ,just a shame the owners don’t up there game and offer better value in the restaurant and bar and keep the beach tidy As there were a number of Europeans staying it would help if more staff spoke some English and could help with local information

Reviewed By chinepaMe & my girlfriend were in rayong & was looking for a hotel to stay. This hotel looked really nice on booking.com but said they were fully booked. We phone up on the off chase & the man in reception said he had two rooms available. We travelled 1.5hours to the hotel & on arrival it was like a scene from the horror movie hills have eyes. Everything looked run down, there where no cars in the car park & no sign of life what so ever. If we hadn't spoken to the man on the phone you would of thought this place was closed. We decided to have a walk around the complex before going into the reception. The pool was dirty & all the pool furniture was broken, the restaurant looked like it hadn't been used for years, the beach looked filthy. After 10 minutes of walking about we still hadn't seen anybody. The whole area had a really creepy feel to it & it didn't feel safe. We decided to quickly walk back to the car to get away from this place quick as possible. On return to the car park an old Thai man came out of the reception & just stood outside & stared at us. We felt like if we would of stayed here we might not of lived to see another day. PLEASE BE CAREFULLY IF YOU BOOK TO STAY HERE. THIS IS NO LIE.

Best budget hotel chain around the town

The room was super cool with comfy bed and, believe it or not, individually packed toiletries! The price to quality ratio was unbeatable and I must say that even though you would need a car to get around from the location of this hotel, the choice that was made to book this establishment was completely correct!

Reviewed By lloydv819Clean modern hotel, pool is great and has sun allday. Close to a good shopping center within walking distance. Lots of parking if coming by car. Food was exellent, staff were exellent, housekeeping was great. Can't fault it! We will stay again the next time we're in Rayong.
