Good base for skiing
Reviewed By nicolekeLocated approximately 10 minutes' drive from Yangpyong and 5 minutes' drive from Alpensia, this Ramada is a functional base for skiing in the area. The rooms are a little strange, as many of them have a loft area that can accommodate Korean-style floor mattresses in addition to the hotel beds. This is great for families with older, school-age kids, though not really suitable for babies/toddlers. They advertise a kitchenette, but you can't really use it, so don't count on it. The hotel is a bit far from the main drag of Pyeongchang, but it has several restaurants on the basement level, as well as a well-stocked CU and an arcade that's great for older kids (and kids at heart). The best thing is that there's a ski rental place right in the lobby. The staff there are terrific, the prices on rentals are very competitive and they can arrange for heavily discounted lift tickets. The hotel staff are pretty helpful, but the service is nothing to write home about. This hotel feels like it was hastily built ahead of the Olympics, and will be totally shabby in about 10 years' time. But for now, it's pretty nice and clean.

You have to wait in looooooong lines if you didn't purchase your room with breakfast included. Lots of kids... they have beautiful scenario, and a pool, but we couldnt use it.

Staff were friendly. Bring your own bath towels. Hotel does not supply. Overall I would stay here. Good value for money for families.

Reviewed By melinayoonglihBed - was very small for double bathroom - very tiny towels - more like hand towels - apparently korean culture not to have long big towels breakfast - it was at the adjoining Thai restaurant , food served was limited and same daily. when asked for milk to go with the tea/ coffee - was told to pay for it and was not happy to serve or give an extra spoon. Miserable servers. Closed at 9am for breakfast and we missed it the first day as this was not told when checking in.

Lovely stay
Reviewed By Arnout_DebbieThe room we had was very spacious and nicely decorated and came with a well equipped kitchenette. Since the accomodation is situated a little outside the center of Pyeongchang, is was quiet and peaceful (no sounds or flashing lights). The host welcomed us outside and was super friendly and helpful. Ideal to go skiing or visiting Oadesan NP when you appreciate some rest and quiet.

Reviewed By silangel1I spent two weeks in this Condominium. It is very close to the ski area, there are many apartments. My flat was not clean, but after few days it became better, because the housekeeping came every day. I got fresh clean towels and soap every day. The resaturant was nice, and the staff was more than nice.
