Reviewed By RotarbilacThe hotel is fully accessible through numerous smooth ramps. There is one specially modified room on the ground floor with adequate space to move the wheelchair around. The bathroom is spacious enough to accomodate the wheelchair, although the door is somewhat narrow and requires some effort to enter. Some effort is also required to access the balcony due to the existence of the window frame. The staff is polite and helpful and the hotel's location is ideal as the town center and nightlife are very close and no car is necessary.

Pleasant time in Kronos hotel
Reviewed By vesko1978I stayed in this hotel, for a second time, with my family and we were very satisfied. Room was nice and clean, staff helpful. Food was good. The pool was clean and good place for kids. This year no big rush in whole Platamon. So it was a nice stay. All recommendations.

Reviewed By JeryPayneWe visited during the Fall. The place consisted of little stone buildings that each held a couple of rooms. Our room was nice and quite charming. Looking out the windows, we saw the forest and in the distance the sea. The room had a full kitchen that looked clean and fairly nice. We didn't use the kitchen because we ate at the nearby town in the evening, which was very nice, and bought breakfast from the property. Why pay to cook when we had such great options at a reasonable price? Get the breakfast, it is well worth it.. The location was great. As mentioned, we were nestled into the mountains. And yet, it was a short walk to the quaint town. It is a bit of a drive up from the main town by the sea. But it was a reasonable drive to hiking trails. We had good parking in the Fall, but the lower lot by the houses only held enough spaces for a few vehicles. Walking down from the top parking lot works fine, but it would be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying a lot of luggage. The bed, although fairly comfortable, was an older spring mattress. It worked fine, but an upgrade would be nice. The wifi was also a bit finicky. We had a family room. the second bed was on a platform that made use of the high ceilings. On the platform, the ceilings were a bit low for an adult. But they would have been perfect for kis. And finally, Kostas, the host, was a delight. We chatted quite a bit, and he gave good recommendations. He also provided quite a bit of enjoyable talk while he made breakfast for us. Highly recommended!

We stayed ant the third floor and we had AC and quite good wi-fi. Basic utilities, but sufficient for a family with a three years child. Not very modern room , but nicer then in the piuctures.

Reviewed By Monika Rfrom the hotels I have visited it was definitely one of the best service. Everybody were so helpful, smiling and nice, that from this point it was outstanding. Food was good, when we asked for fresh fish we went to the kitchen to sea everything they had. Only breakfast could have more warm options than omlettes. Minus for me was the room that could use a refurbishment, especially the bathroom, but it was clean

Reviewed By claireg115We are travelling around Greece and was looking for a hotel for the night, and im so glad my Husband found this great little place. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless. We couldn't fault it. The room has a t.v and a fridge with also tea, coffee making facilities. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and asked us what time we would like breakfast. We had breakfast brought to our room and wow it wasn't a disappointment. It was simply the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stunning modern hotel with amazing view
Reviewed By victoriafromgreecewe spent 2 nights at this jewel in Platamonas and we really enjoyed the warm hospitality, the food and of course our wonderful room. The view to the Aegean is breathtaking, the room was spacious and very modern.We loved the comfy bed, the decor which was simple and stylish and the bathroom. It is so relaxing with the blue lights you can turn on, the flully bathrobes, and the quality toiletries. Everything is adopting the protocols against COVID 19, masks, antiseptics everywhere, and the whole building is so clean. One of the cleanest hotel we have ever been. The breakfast, although now it is a la carte, it has such a great variety. You can order eggs, omelettes, pancakes, yogurt, many sweet options and any coffee you like. The people are very polite and always smiling! We also had delicious dinners at the restaurant, which haw a mediterranean cuisine with a modern touch in its plates, and we really loved the food. Seafood pasta, salads, fried feta with honey, so may good flavors to choose from. The wine list is very good, so everyone can pick their favorite. The hotel is situated in a strategic place, so that you can visit the whole Pieria for here, as we did. We explored both beach and mountain destinations, moreover we visited the Dion Archaeological Site. We fully recommend it!

Reviewed By justinwI5027TJI picked this spot because I felt like it would be a convenient spot to hunker down before our Mt Olympus hike. The hotel is situated just off the water. There is a 2 lane road and unused railroad track between the hotel and water, but it is very close. The man and woman who run the hotel are very nice and accommodating. They are in the middle of renovating, so some rooms are dated and some rooms are nice and new. For an additional $30/night, we opted for the newer room with a view of the beach and the castle. I’m a sucker for castles. We enjoyed our stay and everything went off without a hitch. We had dinner at the hotel once, and it was good. Breakfast is also good, nothing amazing, but enjoyable. The water at the beach is a stunning clear blue. It is a rock beach. God, I LOVE rock beaches. My kids hate rock beaches. They like sand, which is what I despise. But they still had a great time. If you have kids, get them some water shoes and they will enjoy themselves. Geographically, I enjoyed this spot. Wasn’t too busy, and wasn’t too far from Litochoro/Prionia trail head. Also, just a few hundred yards south is a nice “boardwalk” with stores and restaurants. I recommend this place and would definitely stay there again. Check it out, it’s a great spot.
