A good solution
Reviewed By simonebU2129HCThe hotel is in the very center of the town, where a lot of commercial activities are present. As a consequence, is comfortable on one side and on the other is a little bit noisy. It is not the more characteristic solution for Pinamar, but it is ok if you look for a solution like this. Very important, parking is included. Wifi improvable, you have to authenticate every time you enter the hotel.

Reviewed By PJRibadeneiraLocated at the very beginning of Pinamar main street, Green Sea is a large, but quite oldn aparthotel. Even if Pinamar prices are very high during summer time, paying more than $200 per night for a two twin beds room is simply outrageous. If you decide to stay there, please demand a room that doesn't face the main street. The poor isolation of their windows makes the room VERY noisy.

Reviewed By Dolores LThe best thing Playas Hotel has to offer is the excellent location: near the centre and very close to the beach. As an old but traditional hotel, rooms are standard size, but very complete: working desk, minibar and TV. Bathrooms are also standard size, with bathtub and amenities. The best area is the swimming pool area. It has many chairs both to take a seat under the sun or under the shade. It has a huge gallery with tables and chairs where to have breakfast or lunch. The breakfast is ok, with fruits, variety of pastry, yogurt and beverages. The attention of the staff at the breakfast place is the best in the hotel. Very kind. There also is a working silent place, with comfortable sofas to study or work. There`s no room service at all. The wifi sometimes has problems but is due to the provider (which is only one for the whole town) and not due to the hotel. Parking is free.

Good room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, good space for luggage, super clean, good heater-air con, nice balcony with very beautiful view. The room could use maintenance with small details. I went for business but was able to enjoy the installations.

Reviewed By DoffaDuring a business travel I went to Pinamar (wonderful road trip from Buenos Aires once outside of town) and choose the La Pedrera boutique hotel. The place is fantastic. The gardens are nice, the surroundings, too. The room, actually more like an apartment, is great and everything works perfectly. The barbecue on the balcony was very useful. Fully recommended. On site, Mrs. Mercedes explained everything perfectly and was always helpful and super-friendly. Totally recommended.The only negative thing was a humming sound in the night coming from outside town like an airplane starting. Never found out what it was? But inside the room I did hear nothing

It might have been good in its prime time
Reviewed By DrMO2019I spent 2 weeks here with my family during this 2021 summer vacation. The booking process was a nightmare as the resort does not accept credit cards for it and not even to pay for expenses and extras once inside The complex is nice and spatious, surrounded by pinetrees, with several tennis courts (2 paddle tennis courts too) and a outdoor non-heated swimming pool behind the reception building. The whole place is quiet and safe We rented a 3-bedroom apartment which looked ok, but once inside we realized it needs a good deal of maintenance (windows not closing properly, leaks in the toilet floor, outdated furniture, etc), The cable tv and internet worked only a few hours during the whole stay, hot water was insufficient for 2 people showering in a row,the air conditioning was bad, noisy and only available in one bedroom. Each apartment has a grill in the patio outside,but a small one Cleaning was done daily and efficiently. Amenities (such as shampoo, soap etc) were not top class and needed to be requested frequently as they were not provided daily Breakfast was included (only delivered to the apartment). It took a week to receive properly what was ordered, even when there were only 3 possible choices of fixed menu The spa could be used only by reservation and was rarely available. Staff were not very friendly and the booking list not transparent There is a playroom including a pool table, 2 ping pong tables and a large screen tv The restaurant and drugstore were very expensive The beach is a bit far to walk, especially if you are carrying bags or other stuff (nearly 700 meters away), but the good thing is that with the resort fee we had a beach cabin and towels included during the entire stay In summary, not cheap and not top notch. The quality /price ratio is not favourable
