Beware the mosquitos
Reviewed By nickyportugalThe host was charming and very helpful. We had a small problem with our car and he took us to a mechanic immediately. The accommodation is in a restored old house and is full of character. The beds are slightly strange but comfortable. However there is no airconditioning so you will have to open the windows and will certainly need to use the antimosquito plug in provided as the area is swarming with mosquitos. The breakfast is also poor.

In our bedrooms you will be able to experience the link with the times past with old linen and antique furniture: a real country lifestyle with all the comforts.We can have up to 12 guests in 2 flats, all with WC, fridge, cooking place, heating, special access for disabled, car park.In all flats you have plates, pottery etc.The linen is also included and changed weekly (or on request).A big barbecue and an old firewood oven are also available for all guests

Reviewed By JPS594We stayed unfortunately only for one night , but what a nice surprise. The couple that manage the place is very friendly and helpful. The place is very big, with everything you need. The wifi is slow. Remember the place is about 1km outside the center of the little village.

Interesting Hotel in an unusual location
Reviewed By kmsflyerHotel Candeleto is in the hills above Candeleto and has it;s own swimming pool and leisure facilities. It is very family friendly but rather basic. A great base for touring and right next to a tourist centre with lots of facilities, tennis courts, pools and a restaurant. It is a very interesting and friendly hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Reviewed By eldaniid2020OMG it feels like home! Only better :D The owners are amazing, so warm and welcoming - like family. It’s a wonderful place to spend some time with your loved ones or even alone. Such good vibes :) It’s peaceful and quiet and not too crowdy. The pool is great! I had such a great time there.

Reviewed By Triumph5The renovated ancient building offers a historic B&B with big rooms and beamed high ceilings. The staff are pleasant and the food was adequate, although nothing special. It has to noted that it is a long way from anywhere and the roads are unsurfaced. We took an hour to get to Gubbio. Very happy with no cancellation charge when we decided to relocate closer to the tourist destinations. I would recommend this location if you want to get away from the usual tourist area as see more of unknown Umbria.

Hilltop location with fantastic views (and a nice pool with a view)
Reviewed By ford-ka-9-5Monte Valentino as the name suggests is located on top of a fairly high hill offering fantastic views of the countryside. The old building has been converted into very cosy place to stay, away from the noise and bustle and yet not too far away from most of the major attractions of Umbria. If you need a rest remember to make substantial shopping (driving up and down can be a drag) and just give yourself a few days of peace on the top of the hill with a view, sipping wine and eating prosciutto on the terrace.

Reviewed By Piteco01Durante il cammino di San Francesco ci siam fermati in questo paradiso. Location silenziosa con vista nel verde e nell’azzurro. Spaziosa e pulita. Proprietari molto gentili. Prenotato direttamente con loro e consiglio sia per altri camminatori che per chi ama un po’ di relax.

Un angolo di paradiso e relax
Reviewed By Daniele MTrovato per caso tramite Booking ci siamo innamorati di questo angolo di paradiso che è stato ristrutturato amorevolmente dal signor Sergio che ha ristrutturato un vecchio edificò d epoca in maniera perfetta usando materiale di prima qualità. Gli appartamenti sono spaziosi e dotato di ogni servizio. Il bagno enorme è doccia enorme con vetro. Tutto recentissimo,! L agriturismo si trova a 800m sul mare e il clima è freschissimo... Non serve l aria condizionata! Colazione inclusa con ottimi prodotti locali. Piscina ed idromassaggio inclusi!! Il posto è un po' isolato e consigliamo di fare la spesa prima e salire da Pietralunga...ma ottimo per trascorre giorno in totale relax!
