Reviewed By Cheryl WAbsolutely loved this hotel. Davide was so helpful from the first phone call when dealing with the booking and throughout the stay! The breakfast, buffet style, had an excellent selection just a little difficult having to have someone select for you it felt like you had to think quickly but this is understandable at this time with Covid. Everywhere was very clean the chambermaids did a Fantastic job. The pool and all public areas were always sparkling clean to. Everyone made us feel very welcome but special thanks go to Sebastiano and Vincenzo in the restaurant for making us feel valued. The beach bar staff where also very welcoming. Lovely pool and beautiful beach area. My only criticism would be the cost of using the beach and car parking as this adds an awful lot to the daily cost. I would have used the beach far more if the price had been reasonable! That said I knew this before we booked and it didn’t stop me coming. Lovely hotel many thanks everyone for a great week’s holiday!

Reviewed By Federica LI've spent more than one weekend at the Jolly Rogers Hotel and it has always been a beautiful experience. For sure it's a place worth coming back over and over again! The building has just been restored with a cosy taste by the owner who added a unique touch to the interiors. Modern spaces and large rooms, embellished with peculiar decorations and full of local plants, will welcome you. The Jolly Rogers Hotel has in fact been restored also with the purpose to avoid architectural barriers: it perfectly fits for disabled people who can move safely and independently within the hotel area. The website pictures shows the real size of the spaces but you'll find out that they are even more comfortable and charming. I mostly appreciated its location on the waterfront: the strand is within a few steps from the Jolly Rogers and you embrace its complete view from the ground floor - where the dining room is located - to the upper levels. From the roof terrace you have a 360° view of the coast and of the famous Gallinara island! Furthermore you can reach the village centre of Pietra Ligure in a 5 minutes walk. Nearby you can visit many places of interest like Borgio Verezzi, Basura and Toirano caves, Triora village and much more. The staff is very friendly and makes its best to satisfy your requests and - what I really loved - makes you feel at home. The kitchen offers local dishes and homemade food. It is no doubt different from bigger hotels with standard cuisine and services. I suggest it if you look for a relaxing, familiar and intimate acommodation, both if you travel alone and with your couple / family /friends / children.

The Holiday Resort "Residence Oleandro" is particularly suitable to accommodate couples, families and groups of sports lovers. The pets are welcome. Free or equipped sandy beach at 900 meters, about 12 minutes walk. Available at the bar the service of local products for a small Italian breakfast. At your disposal rooms with italian breakfast included and for the rest of the holiday complex you can find also modern apartments that are located in Pietra Ligure halfway between the village of Alassio and the "Capital of Outdoor Sports" Finale Ligure, is the ideal destination for those looking for an holiday flat in the quiet and professionally organized. The two pools are newly built both are with a large sun terrace and a whirlpool. The beach is at just 12 minute walk. The typical shops of the historic center and restaurants are within walking distance in 13 minutes. Oleandro holiday house is composed of one, two or three rooms apartments who can accommodate between 2 and 6 persons. All the holiday accommodations have spacious balconies and terraces furnished to eat outside. There is a private parking (for free for the direct reservations) and one is reserved for each apartment. The whole house is entirely covered by free wifi service. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and there is a surcharge. At the bar you can enjoy an Italian breakfast with fresh baked bread, fragrant croissants and tasty cappuccino. Funny excursions can be booked on site like Whale Watching from the port of Marina di Loano, the Downhill shuttle from Finalborgo, Trekking and Mountain Biking with specialized guides and visits to the Caves of Toirano and Borgio Verezzi. We also organize trips to Monaco Montecarlo, to the Outlet of Serravalle Scrivia and Mondovicino in Mondovì, and in the wine "Langhe area" like Alba. Guests will find an useful guide that offers a selection of typical restaurants and pizzerias. The holiday self catering accomodation is open from the end of March to the end of October.
Great family vacation
Reviewed By ElEsidoWe traveled as a group of two adults and two teenagers and rented two apartments at the Residence Oleandro. They are newly renovated and therefore were in a very good condition. The teenagers loved the "fun pool" and while we adults spent time at the "relax pool". In the morning there is a bread/croissant/focaccia service (to be ordered the day before). We appreciated that we could park our mountain bikesin a lockable room. The manager Mariangela was exceptionally warm and helpful.

When I arrived they told me that I should find a place to park my car on my own., because it was fully occupied. Fortunately, late at night I found the only free place where I wasn’t forbidden to park. I think they should be more honest and tell this in advance, so you can decide if you take the chance or change hotel.

Situato in zona tranquilla, a 500 metri dal centro storico, a 100 metri dalla spiaggia . Grazie alla posizione particolarmente favorevole potrete alternare tranquille ore sulla spiaggia con piacevoli passeggiate panoramiche.

They have been very friendly and talkative to us. Breakfast had a big variety and was excellent, I wish them all the best, we would go back anytime and can only recommend it to them people. Hotel that feels like family
Reviewed By Elena FWe stayed at this hotel in May and we were very happy with it. It's a family owned and managed facility. We asked for 2 rooms (1 for my husband and I and one for my sister's family which include a 1 yr old baby) with sea view and they accommodated us. This is a beachfront hotel and although there is a railroad we were able to sleep with no problem even because trains are rarely passing by at night. The food is prepared with fresh local ingredients and cooked to perfection and the portions are large. The dining room is elegant with a very nice Italian style and super clean. I enjoyed their pasta al pesto and at every lunch/dinner they have different choices and at least one dish is seafood. The owners go above and beyond to please their guests. If you would like to try different foods they are more than happy to give you additional plates in a "sampling" style. The hotel has agreed for the service on the beach with DE&DE BEACH to have special prices for umbrellas and chairs for the hotel guests. Actually I found out that their prices are very reasonable and you can also have a private cabin for the day. They also have a cozy little bar where it's possible to enjoy some nice drinks or snacks. The room has a basic furniture arrangement but very comfortable and clean. The hollow star is for the bathroom definitely small. My sister was luckier than me with a big room and bigger bathroom. If you are a family with kids make sure to check with the receptionist when reserving your room. Everything else is very enjoyable and we'll definitely go back in the future!
