Reviewed By RENERONOthis is the best place to stay at kangar, the motel is with nice decoration and always refresh for every time my visit, my room look like newly renovated, staff very friendly especially Anis, she is very nice person and an a asset to the hotel. Nice scenery and fresh view in the morning Even-thought with 2 floor but the motel is with elevator and the motel always kept clean. except the light at door entrance was always trip and nobody come and fixed it till check out but they promise to fix it. anyway we really enjoy with the simple breakfast, weldone to the management but please look at my comment and pls take my comment positively and ensure the request must be attended immediately.

A small, but nice and clean hotel
Reviewed By ingvalldI visited during a short trip to Malaysia and Thailand. This hotel was recommended by friends living in the area, and it was a good choice. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I was only missing hot water on the tap in the bathroom as I like to shave with hot water. There is no fridge in the room, but hot and cold water is available from the dispenser in the corridor. Checking in was smooth. The hotel does not have a lift. We were happy with our stay.

A lovely family in the middle of mangos fields.
Reviewed By Arthur GTravelling is about meeting people and I had the chance with my girlfriend to discover this faboulous family owning the guesthouse. The mother, a kind woman with a big heart takes care of the place. The room was one of the cleanest that we have found in Malaysia. If you are lucky, this kind woman will bring you the lastest fruit from their own farm. Yes, that’s the most interesting part. The owners are mainly farmers and you can visit the farm if you asked gently. The farm is composed by durians, mangos and many different trees. Houndreds of hectars of wildness can be offered to you. The father would be proud to show you his lastest harvest and his collection of old cars. Around 25 cars from the 50s that the owner fixed and painted by himself ! If you are an early bird, you can visit the morning market next to the guesthouse. A true opportunity to really see what’s happening in the life of Malaysian people. Thanks to this wonderful family and particurlarly to James their son.

Reviewed By shamealFirst time staying at Seri Malaysia Kangar. The room is cosy and well kept. Toilet is clean but water pressure for the upper floor rooms are a bit low. Food are great and quite cheap for a hotel. The surrounding garden is well kept and clean. Pool is well maintained. Highly recommended when you are in Kangar. Take the deluxe room on upper floor, then you will enjoy it.

Reviewed By RENERONOStayed here for one night. Good location, clean room with big bathroom. The staff is friendly and always helping us with good info. Simple room set up and I'm happy with the price offer . They had a lobby with a lot sofas for you to relax. My advise is, if you want to stay here please bring you own extension wire because not many plug in the room.

Reviewed By CookielovestravellinWe stayed here for a night as the next say we had an early ferry ride to Langkawi. This is a no frill hotel, simple and straightforward kind of shoplot hotel. Eco shop (which is a Rm2 shop), MR DIY and supermarket within same area and walking distance. Parking available in front of hotel albeit not guarded. Food available opposite hotel. We booked directly through hotel which was cheaper than Agoda/Booking.Com. Deposit taken rm50, returned upon check out. Hotel fairly new so bed, aircond etc all works well. Theres a fridge in room and ample space for suitcase.

Reviewed By S-hajarazaman93Room was good for couples, not family. Staff is okay, water dispenser is available, air conditioner is cool enough, basic amenities (towels and liquid foam provided). Iron board is outside. Parking is available for guest too.

UNBELIEVABLE!!
Reviewed By Ginachan CWe were booked for 1 night at Ants Hotel as we were using the Roro Ferry to Langkawi the next morning. This hotel has so many 'don't haves and don't provide', its unbelievable. (1) No coffee and tea making facilities (2) TV had only 2 channels, TV1 and TV3. No news channels. (3) No shops nearby to buy drinks (4) Only rain shower provided (5) No windows in the very small and claustrophobic room We actually paid RM110+ for the rooms and there was a notice that the hotel was offering RM95 at the reception. And when we complained about the windowless rooms, we were told we would each have to pay another RM30 if we wanted rooms with window! A rip off place. When I requested for a kettle, I was given one. But when I requested for a mug or teaspoon to make a drink, I was told that only 2 small glasses are provided in the room. And that was all. There was a shower cap provided by the way, but it was hidden in the cupboard, not in the bathroom. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Seriously.

Great Option Near Jetty
Reviewed By 222yahoo22Stayed for one night over the weekend and lucky I booked early. All motels this area seems fully booked closer to my travel date. Location wise near jetty, easy to get Grab, around 1 kilometre away there's 7-eleven and also D Adna Laksa House. Room was basic and clean. Shower couldn't get hot water, it's just slightly heated so water was not freezing cold. This is a Muslim friendly motel, so no alcoholic drinks permitted in the premise. Overall I had a comfortable stay.
