Reviewed By Hotel_aficionado_07The hospitality coupled with the pool and bar area makes this a perfect place to spend a summer holiday with the family. There was always a great selection to choose from at breakfast, and seemingly nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who never seemed to stop working. The size of the complex is ideal too - not to many people so you feel you have the throw your towel on a lounger first thing, but not too quiet that you feel like you’re staying out of season. Easy to walk down into Gaios where there’s plenty of places to eat - Mediterraneo is superb and great for watching the boats while you eat. Definitely recommend and may well go back again. (Note - Actually stayed in July 2020, but the app wouldn’t let us go back that far).

Reviewed By Deb KBeautifully redone villa. Details executed to perfection outside and in. Grounds beautifully laid out and maintained. Literally bees and butterflies living the life. Incredible staff and service. Quiet area but town (beautiful port town of Lakka) is a 10 minute walk downhill…coming back a tad longer. Half board - incredible food…no buffet scrimping. All cooked as you arrive to eat.

The most perfect place to stay in Paxos
Reviewed By MelissaP3953I can only echo all the other wonderful reviews. We stayed in both the one bedroomed and two bedroomed units during our stay. They are spotlessly clean and so well maintained. Everything in the villas is of a high quality. The views from the villas and from the pool deck are wonderful. I loved the peaceful setting with chickens roaming through the gardens, and beautiful flowers and fruit trees everywhere. Breakfast with a view beside the pool was a daily highlight with a wonderful selection of breakfast treats served by our host, Vali. There were generous touches everywhere from the complimentary beer, water and coffee pods on arrival at the villa to slippers in the bathroom and even a box of medication available in the villa in case one needed it. Vali is such a warm and welcoming host and the source of any information or recommendations that one might need - we loved all her restaurant recommendations. The loungers around the big pool are so comfortable and as there are only a few villas one never needed to fight over the loungers ! and even an honesty bar at the pool if one fancies a drink. The villas are within walking distance of beautiful beach coves for swimming and Mongonissi Beach where one can rent a boat. And only 3.5km from Gaios. We were extremely sad to leave Santa Marina and really do hope we will be back there soon. Thank you Vali for everything

Absolutely beautiful traditional property and friendly staff

It is a wonderful independent luxury hotel that is set inside a series of cute traditional Ionian stone houses that date back to the 17th century. I had my own little garden surrounded by olive groves where I could eat spanakopita and listen to the birds in the mornings. Every element of the decor was done with love, and the staff were incredibly friendly and lovely. I definitely recommend it. Thalia, the lady on reception was very kind and accommodating. I also appreciate how thoughtful the hotel was in making sure everything was safe and clean while travelling during the pandemic. Efharisto poli !!

Reviewed By staceycrPaxos was a long-lived dream for us and I’m glad we chose Paco’s for this experience. We were kindly picked up by the staff at the harbor and after a brief check-in process we were lead to our villa with sea view. This view is really worth everything, overlooking the graphic little port with the two tiny islands! From staff to cleanliness, breakfast and facilities I can’t complain for anything, only thing a bit tiring is the distance from the town, which, although not huge (10 minutes), is a little challenging when returning as it is uphill. Great for fitness though!

Το δωμάτιο καθαρό ,η τοποθεσία φανταστική ( 1 λεπτό από τη θάλασσα και μέσα στο κέντρο),η κυρία που μας εξυπηρετούσε ευγενεστατη και πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει συνεχώς και πέραν του ωραρίου της. Μας πήρε και μας πήγε στο λιμάνι χωρίς καμία επιπλέον χρέωση. Τα δωμάτια ανήκουν σε ένα παλαιό αρχοντικό και η όλη διακόσμηση σε ταξιδεύει σε άλλες εποχές. Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα.

Reviewed By _Z9969NPΤα δωμάτια βρίσκονται πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο, άνετα πηγαίνεις με τα πόδια. Διαθέτει χώρο στάθμευσης αλλά είναι πάνω στην στροφή οπότε χρειάζεται να έχετε ένα δεύτερο άτομο να επιβλέπει τον δρόμο. Το δωμάτιο είναι καθαρό και ευρύχωρο με ωραία διακόσμηση. Το μπάνιο υστερεί σε σχέση με το υπόλοιπο δωμάτιο. Είναι σε καλή τιμή για τους Παξούς.

Το Χειρότερο κατάλυμα που έχω δει !!!
Reviewed By dionym543Το δωμάτιο ήταν πάρα πολύ μικρό δεν χωρούσε να βάλεις την βαλίτσα σου. Αρκετά βρόμικο με μούχλα στους τοίχους του μπάνιο/τουαλέτα. Θέα στον τοίχο και μπαλκόνι 50εκατοστα επι 1 μετρό . Η τουαλέτα και το ντους ήταν στο μπαλκόνι (αυτοσχέδια κατασκευή) χωρίς νταβάνι/ οροφή. Όταν έβρεξε μας έβαλαν ένα νάιλον για σκέπαστρο . Απορώ πως έχει άδεια λειτουργείας από την πολεοδομία αυτό το κατάλυμα . Νιπτήρας δεν υπήρχε , πλέναμε τα δόντια μας στην κουζίνα , η οποία ήταν κοινόχρηστη με αλλά τρία δωμάτια . Το κλιματιστικό δεν δούλευε αλλά μας είπαν πως δεν πατάμε καλά το κουμπί ….. Το παρκινγκ ανύπαρκτο . Τρεις θέσεις τις οποίες ήταν μόνιμός πιασμένες από τις ιδιοκτήτριες. Καθαριότητα = χάλια . Εάν περνούσε το υγειονομικό θα το έκλεινε. Το Κορίτσι ( ιδιοκτήτρια) προσπαθούσε να είναι ευγενικά αλλά όταν της αναφέραμε τα προβλήματα δεν άργησε να δείξει τον εκνευρισμό της. Για όλα τα παραπάνω υπάρχουν και φωτογραφίες που τα πιστοποιούν . Εμείς κλείσαμε από το Booking και θα πληρώναμε στο κατάλυμα . Εκεί μας έκαναν μια δήθεν έκπτωση τον 10% και έτσι δεν φάνηκε στο Booking ότι κάναμε Check in. Απόδειξη δεν δίνουν ! Αυτό είναι ένα κόλπο το οποίο κάνανε και σε άλλους επισκέπτες , με αυτόν τον τρόπο δεν έχω το δικαίωμα να κάνω κριτική στο booking και να τους χαλάσω την εικόνα με την κριτική μου. Μιλήσαμε και με τους άλλους επισκέπτες που ήταν αυτήν την περίοδο εκεί και όλοι αντιμετώπιζαν τα ίδια προβλήματα με εμάς. Είδαμε τα άλλα δωμάτια και όλα μα όλα ήταν στο ίδια χάλι. Απορώ λοιπών από που έρχονται αυτές η θετικές κριτικές!

Reviewed By George CWe were supposed to stay 2 nights, at the end we stayed 10! It was really nice, wonderful swimming pool with beautiful seaview. The flat was very clean and confortable. The hosts were really friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The property is quite closed to the city, like 10minute walking via the shortcut (you leave the property on the right and go till the end of the track, it’s a bit in the bushes so take good shoes). We really enjoy the Pool and the Jacuzzi.
