Visava Amusement Park & Resort, a great place to enjoy with family & friends. Located on Mumbai-Goa Highway surrounded by nature near Karnala Bird Sanctuary. We have luxurious accommodation facility such as row houses, wooden cottages and villas along with delicious food made by the expert chefs. Earlier know as the Panoramic Resort that has been taken over by the Visava Group of hotels, has been renovated according to our taste. Along with refreshing water slides, enjoy thrilling adventure activities. If planning for a trip near Karnala, this is one of the best resorts in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Reviewed By zubinunWe have had a PATHETIC experience at this place. They allow stray dogs to roam the premises. My mother was attacked by one and fell while trying to escape. She suffered multiple bruises on her body. Now about hygiene factors. The bathroom door in our room didn't shut and also didn't have a handle. The TV remote didn't work. The WiFi couldn't connect. They refused to give a drinking water bottle for the 3rd guest in spite of having charged us in full for 3 people. We had to inform reception and housekeeping 5 times before we could get extra bedding for the 3rd guest. The indoor games room is open only from 6 to 8 and it gets do crowded that no one can enjoy. Also, the games equipment is faulty. Also, their billing system was not working. They told us they will WhatsApp the receipt to us. We still haven't received it. I am surprised the resort hasn't been shut down.

Bed bugs
Reviewed By Maitreyi NThe only reason we chose this place was because it is very close to the railway station. We had to catch a train @ 6:30 am & to avoid night driving from pune, we decided to travel in the evening & stay at this place for the night. It was a bad decision. Room was stinking. There were Mosquitoes, bed bugs, not even in a single good point to share. Thanks to the bed bugs we couldn't sleep & ran away before 5 am.

Reviewed By usa0294This is one of the most pathetic hotel I have ever been. If you are checking in early, the staff will be sleeping and you have to knock the shutter to open up. It is you who have to carry the luggage to your room. The refrigerator in the room kept OFF to save the power which was stinking like hell. The whole room was stinking due to moisture. In fact if you are staying on first day of month, You will not be able to use TV as they are not bothered to recharge their Tata Sky. Forget about the WiFI password, More poor thing about this hotel is, they actually con you be using word free breakfast. They do just give you one yuk south Indian dish, boiled egg & poorly kept fruits cut mixture in same bowl. No arrangement of coffee etc there. And worst part of it is they have just one waiter over there who is damn arrogant and will respond like "Toast your bread by own, its not my duty". Further, they are not responsible if u don't know how to use toaster. Even if you complaint at reception, They will say, Sorry we can't help. VINAMRA is basically not VINAMRA. Real arrogant staff with poor services. They charge high like an three star hotel and don't actually know initials of hospitality.

Worst experience with a hotel yet

Hotel had agreed to add a mattress for the third person before making a booking but only gave a durrie to our guests whom we had made the booking for. That too had a urine smell coming from it. We made a booking for one more room just avoid this mishap by the hotel but the other room's AC was also not working. The hotel staff took around 45 minutes to come up to take care of it. Room's jetspray also didn't work. We had made the payment at the time of booking and the staff had agreed to the fact that the payment for the next day would be made by us during the check out. But they kept pestering our guests for money. I would rate the hotel negative in terms of hospitality that is supposed to be one the prime attributes of a hotel staff. The hotel staff was also rude to talk to. We tried to ask their name to put a complain but they were not even ready to share their names for a review. The person who misbehaved the most claimed that he was the manager and his name was Brijkishore Khilare but I really doubt if that's his name considering he tried to not disclose his name till the end for reviews. While this person actually knew that the payment is to be collected from us, he supported his staff to pester our guests for money. The name of the other staff was Gopal and Raju, Raju being the care taker. These other 2 people pressurized Raju to not accept that the durrie had a urine smell coming from it since Raju was the one who agreed to change it because of the smell. The staff will nor accept it's mistake, neither take any action to improve their behaviour. Overall a really really bad experience. Not preferable if you are coming with a family or guests. We plan to take this forward to the consumer court. Sharing this here so that you guys don't have to go through what we and our guests did.
