Reviewed By KlausWTTNot quite 24 hours usage of room as claimed. Rooms were not available on arrival. Staff tried to bother you to early check out. Nice view, clean rooms, nice staffs(except one mentioned above) Breakfast was a bit less variety of food but the staffs at the restaurant were nice.

SHA Plus Stay
Reviewed By willlU712XCI used this hotel for the SHA plus requirements to enter during covid restrictions. The requirements for day 5 changed and they were good enough to refund. They had someone waiting at the airport and I had a good stay at the hotel. They brought me in for the required PCR test and everything worked out well. I was very impressed with the excellent food at the restaurant . Went back to eat there again after as it was so good. Thanks

First off, the grounds are magnificent, with a mind-blowing view of Khao Yai National Park as it’s picture perfect landscape. Top this off with a scrumptious breakfast and delectable (and substantial) afternoon tea, and service staff that are so genuinely friendly and pleasant, and they rate a solid 5 stars. The 6th star was because the security (?) pointed out that our car tyre (a Europcar rental) was running flat, and then with the help of the reception, proceeded to arrange for the patching of the tyre in double quick time so that our holiday was not affected. A huge shout of thanks to the team in The Series Khao Yai - they are a bunch of gems.

Reviewed By KevinKhonKaenDear Thailand Traveler, My family and I spent 4 nights at Botanica Khao Yai over a long holiday weekend during May 2022 and we had a very nice and memorable stay. The COVID-19 pandemic has crushed tourism in Thailand and around the world, and this has left property owners reeling. It is, therefore, quite easy to find things to criticize at any resort when very few people are traveling. Taking that into consideration, we found all of the essential aspects of our stay quite to our satisfaction. The room was great, everything worked well, and we enjoyed a terrific view of a lovely bamboo grove against a mountain backdrop outside of the windows of our well-designed double room. The service team was professional and accommodating, and the overall ambiance of the property was lovely. The Nespresso coffee maker in the room and the complimentary snacks and soft drinks are also a nice feature. Botanica is a special destination that I am able to happily and confidently recommend to anyone visiting Khao Yai. By the way, all of the available rooms were fully booked during the first 3 days of our 4-day stay, so I don't recommend assuming room availability with no reservation. Best/Kevin Khon Kaen, Thailand

Reviewed By diesolineCurrently at the hotel for our 4days and 3 nights stay and i would say that our stay by far is good. We had a few mishaps with the rooms regarding the first room being small and we upgraded it to a pool villa. The pool villa had some issue with the heated pool and Khun Lada and Khun Gong helped us straight away and the following day, moved us to a junior suite with pool without any extra charges. The downside is the pool still not warming up due to a broken heater. We were informed a little late about that but we still stayed 1 more night. The pool in the villa might get a little dirty being placed under some trees but it's not a deal breaker. Maybe placing an angled net on top might help to prevent dry leaves from falling into the pool. Food was just okay and no bacon which i really love. Haha. Still, we are very thankful to Khun Lada and Khun Gong for making our stay better after having a few issues here. Khun Lada is a very helpful staff and would go out of her way to help out the guests in need. The pool personel was also very helpful when he had to go and clean the pool in the villa at night. I will still recommend this hotel to my friends and family members.

Reviewed By ykh_malaysiaWe had super wonderful experience here. The check-in and check-out was fast and efficiency with very hospitable staff who also speak good English. It is just about 300m off the main town touristy areas and can easily walk for food, groceries, etc. Overall, the resort is superb; clean, well kept, orderly, secure, quiet and private. It makes for a pleasant cool walk, especially in the mornings. The Eco-tent we stayed are clean and in good condition, inside and outside. The bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities is a small inconvenience but it offers adequate numbers of clean and private cubicles. The open air standing shower is also a wonderful experience. The water pressure is good and there's hot and cold water. The entire resort is amply lit by subdued lightings to blend with the natural environment. The on-site carpark is large and secured. Breakfast is very good and provides a good range of local and western food. The resort is noisy in a good way with presence of lots of insects, birds and small animals, but human loud talkings and partying is a put off since the tents are not soundproof. Look out for the pretty woodpeckers and the snow white squirrels and the occasional checkos. Outside the tents, are beautiful mountain range views. Most mornings, they are shrouded by mists. In the evening, around 6.30-7.00pm, we were fortunate to see many waves of thousands of bats, flying out from the mountain areas and crossed the resort. Overall, this is simply a wonderful resort.

Shower area flooded, not fixed despite twice complained.
Reviewed By LiewTHThe room itself is pretty decent, neat and clean. The wifi is decent, as is the airconditioning. Hillside view is pleasant. But the shower area floods after a minute or two of showering. The blockage must be further down, as the water outflow from shower stall overflows out of the floortrap in the toilet floor. Despite two complaints on different occasions, this was not fixed. The breakfast buffet has poor choices, and the waitstaff do not bother to check if the food in the foodwarmer trays are running out. When I saw several were empty, I decided to call out to the staff who were chatting behind the omelette station, and he just looked at me in a disinterested manner, before slowly going to take the tray to the kitchen for refill or prepare a fresh batch. I will not recommend this hotel.

We wanted to see the grounds and facilities of Thames Valley, but found it virtually impossible. Security guards are highly protective and visitors must be either guests at the hotel or customers at the restaurant to avail of the parking lot without fee; others are asked to pay hundreds of baht for even 15 minutes parking! We decided to eat at the restaurant, which was OK, but then we found it was not even possible to view the hotel grounds or facilities... only the restaurant building. Not being the snobbish types, we decided any place with this kind of restrictive attitude was not for us. We'll be staying at more inviting places on future visits to Khao Yai.

Warm welcome from the Front Desk. Big massive smile on everyone’s face. We had the pleasure to meet the GM who is clearly enjoys what he is doing as he showed us that that he is true sincere gentlman and a role model to everyone. The resort is just perfect. Everything you need is just in there. Pool, spa, gym, golf, entertainment, farm, restaurants, everything comes with world class service (guaranteed). The room was super specious and comfortable. Balcony has a stunning view. Restaurants on-site offer a delish, succulent and yummy mouthwatering food ( international, Thai). Also to mention , the GM and his staff had gone above and beyond and arranged a birthday cake to my friend. It was a nice gesture from them.
