Reviewed By Howard SWe found Tenuta San Nicola by chance. We were not disapointed. Although simple, it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool is pristine and the surrounding chairs and beds ideal. But the real stars are the family who own and operate it. Nothing is too much trouble, that my Italian is less than basic and Andrea's is no better than mine, did not matter. From great local white wine to accompany our evening picnic (after days spent sight seeing) and the plates, glasses & cutlery provided without problem, to driving me to his friends IT shop to enable me to check-in and print boarding passes when the hotel IT was "down" due to a particularly lightening storm, we and our friends who were with us, cannot heap praise and thanks. As an afterthought, when I wanted to hire a car for our stay, Paolo introduced me to Locauto. They too were perfect.

Please note that during our visit, (april '19) It was rainy, so we were more depending on our room. We had a room on the ground floor, large enough for the three of us. The pictures of the room found on the internet show how the room once was, but when we stayed there, the curtains of the bed were missing, it was cold (both temperature and atmosphere), perhaps by the 4000K bright white lamps. The bathroom can use some fixing (toilet seat and shower floor). Ravi's service and smile on the otherhand were excellent, the food we were served in the evening was really good. Perhaps it was because we were the only guests or because it was pre-season, but we felt not comfortable to stay 3 nights and left after 1 night. This place needs some care and it might get back to right price/quality balance. It defenitely has potential.

Wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings!
Reviewed By StuartG21We had a lovely time staying at Tenuta Giardini Nuovi. The accommodation is clean and spacious and the facilities are top class. The pool and pool area are great and there is plenty of space. Both Margi and Antonella were lovely and so helpful. They were always willing to give advise/help when asked or needed. The Organic Wine and Olive Oil made on the estate are fantastic and we can't recommend them enough. If you are after peace and tranquillity in a beautiful relaxed setting then this is the place for you. Thank you for a fantastic stay we hope to be back.

Le camere dispongono di tutto il necessario per un ottimo soggiorno e vi è inoltre la possibilità di utilizzare la cucina per prepararsi qualcosa da mangiare. La posizione è veramente strategica sia per visitare il centro di Lecce sia per godere delle più belle spiagge che affacciano sia sull'Adriatico che sullo Ionio. Consigliatissimo!

Qui, una grande sorpresa: una struttura che definire Bed & Breakfast è semplicemente riduttivo ! Stabile elegante e silenzioso, camera spaziosa, piena di luce, super accessoriata, sala da bagno grandissima, una goduria ! Pulizia quotidiana ed accurata degli ambienti. Ottima prima colazione al bar. La proprietaria, Signora Anna, ci ha ricolmati di gentilezze ed è stata prodiga di utili consigli. Mio marito ed io siamo stati benissimo e desideriamo ritornare, per esplorare altri lembi di questa terra meravigliosa! Grazie!

Reviewed By roberto550Camera molto spaziosa e sufficientemente pulita. Ottimo il posto auto nel cancello. Colazione buona e varia. La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. I letti ed i cuscini molto scomodi. Qualche attenzione qui e là renderebbe tutto molto meglio. La posizione a 10 minuti da Lecce è comoda però forse un po troppo fuori mano. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene.
