Excellent value for money
Reviewed By TL7A quaint and cosy resort tucked in a quiet yet strategic location within Muar. The room was simple yet tasteful, but most importantly it was clean, sufficiently spacious and functionally equipped with all basic amenities. The resort has a rustic charm to it and felt warm and welcoming. There is a mini farm within the resort's compound; however, it seemed poorly maintained and the animals were not so well taken care of - it was interesting nevertheless for my young daughter but I do hope that the resort can consider improving the farm's condition for a better experience. The resort's location is as good as it gets but can be quite tricky to access as the entrance is via a small lane just off the main road - easily missed. Some larger signage might help. Overall a positive experience and extremely value for money. I appreciate the management for providing good service at a reasonable price.

Reviewed By sbalrajits an ok hotel. bed and pillow are comfy. since the hotel is facing the mainroad. the rooms are terribly noisy. i didnt get a peaceful sleep. if can try getting a room facing back of the hotel not front. another thing, the receptionist should learn to be more customer oriented, she was pretty rude and not friendly. -booking under sunny-

Reviewed By RianDMThe room is spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Bathroom nice but the bathroom lighting terrible. Not designed by someone who ever has to shave. My one complaint is that a lot of street noise leaks through the windows. They really need an extra layer of glass. The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from Wetex Parade. But who walks in Malaysia other than crazy mat sallehs.

Need more skill staff and upgrade the cleanness of the room
Reviewed By Wira YI came with my family, we take 5 rooms 1 Deluxe family room for me my wife and two kids, 1 Superior family room for my Sister with her family, 2 Deluxe double rooms for my daughter and their husband, around noon the hotel staff call us asking if we are coming, we have paid in full, for sure we are coming, he should ask what time are you coming, that's is the correct question, its seems like if we unable to come they can resale the room again (double selling). it is during a peak time. I told them that we already there in the area and ask them what time can we check-in, he said after 3pm whereby the standard check-in time is after 2pm, I assume maybe they are busy with back to back situation so we came after 5pm just to give them time to makeup the room. Upon check-in, one of the room are not ready at all, we have to call reception to makeup the room, the housekeeping came and make-up the room immediately. We end up having 4 rooms in 1st floor and 1 room on the 2nd floor, there are no elevator in this hotel only staircase, we asking if we could change the room on the 2nd floor to 1st floor as I have bad knee problem and my wife have asthmatic, but the reception staff are very rude telling my son " you have strong shape body you can carry them up". this how you reply with your customer.. ridiculous right.. I was also hotelier before, I understand the situation when hotel are fully booked, but they have to choose word wisely not to make the situation worse. since we just stay for a night, I just change my room with my new wed daughters. The room need deep cleaning, most of the toilet tiles are moldy, edges of toilet bowl are dirty.

Reviewed By Foong69Checked in with elder children, a twin bedroom, room is clean & reasonable size, bathroom is big, clean & powerful water supply. Staffs is friendly and the location of this hotel can easily be found, location is quiet, about 15 minutes drive to Muar town. Room come with pre-pack local breakfast and bread, but the breakfast only start at 7:30am, which is a bit late. Overall, with the price it charge, consider no bad to put a night or two.

Reviewed By Arif_Ibrahim68Me and my family of 6 stayed at this hotel for 1 night during our road trip across Johor. We like the location which is by the riverside and in the middle of Muar town. There are nice and popular eateries like Secret Recipe at the hotel ground floor. Next to the hotel is a popular food courts that is opened for breakfast until late night. Getting foods and drinks are not a problem here. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice layout esp the family room. We also love the view of the river and the beautiful sunset. This is not a 5 stars or luxury hotel but it does has it charms. The room rates are reasonable. It includes a simple breakfast too. But I suggest you skip the hotel breakfast and go for the excellent choices of eateries around the hotel. We like this hotel and will stay here again if and when we are in Muar.

Staff are also friendly and the resort provides a spectacular view of the Muar River. Food was also good. We enjoyed otah making as well. Overall there is nothing much to do in the resort so do sign up for day tours like kampong cycling or night tours like the river cruise which will allow you to see Muar at night.
