Reviewed By Marjet BThe hotel has ample pleasantly decorated rooms with ample bathroom. An excellent breakfast is served with a very panoramic view of the surrounding area. Staff is competent and friendly and offer the necessary information without being asked. Guests may use the spa in a nearby hotel but this proved to be costly: 25 euros per person.

Dinner at the trattoria within the hotel was fantastic with delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with again lovely staff. Beautiful pool and terrace. Would definitely recommend staying here

Nice Italian breakfast. 15 minutes walking distance to historical city center where you can find everything. The road up there is not the nicest but it's worth it to climb up.

wonderful location at a unique place
Reviewed By Peter SThis 3* hotel is very close to the Basilica of San Michele. It offers a solid quality for a reasonable price. Rooms are standard but quiet and offer a stunning into the open land. We took half-pension (dinner) as it sounded convenient but quality “could be improved”. Next time we will definitely prefer to go to some of the restaurants in the “new” town, some 10 to 15 minutes away from the hotel.

Strange Experience
Reviewed By miabella8This place could be really lovely but it misses out in so many ways. First impressions are very mixed. Externally at first sight the building looks great and really interesting and quirky but once you enter the courtyard there are lots of areas where what seems to be rubbish has been allowed to accumulate. There was a pile of books in one area but there were packets of plastic cups there too which just looked a mess. There were some old dusty tables in a corner of the courtyard which again just looked a mess and as if they had simply been dumped there. The owner came across as being pretty disinterested in his guests and offered us no information about the area or any guidance re breakfast times etc. Our room was large, very clean but quite impractical. There were no drawers or shelves to put clothes. There were 2 mirrors but they were really tiny. The one above the enormous stone sink (formerly a trough?) in the bathroom was about 2 feet away from our eyes making make up application, shaving etc. very difficult. The pool is a great size but the area is scruffy. There was a fire pit full of rubbish including plastic bottles. The day we arrived my sun bed broke. The broken bed was still at the poolside at the end of our stay. The area where you park your car was also scruffy with lots of litter in the verge. The breakfast area under the olive trees was pretty but again there were bits of litter on the ground. The lady serving breakfast was very attentive and breakfast was fairly limited but good. So many of these things could so easily be addressed with a bit more care and attention. Sadly this place did not begin to compare with any of the other places in which we stayed and we would not choose to stay here again.

Great and varied breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, jam, yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fruits, +++) with excellent coffee + selection of cold drinks. Kids love the pool area. Great view from room and location a good starting point for exploring the region.

Reviewed By Elena-GioiaThe Hotel is located just two steps from the entrance to the Santuario with the Church and the ruins of the Baptistery. The balcony of my room looked over the courtyard of the former church and Baptistery. The feeling was of living right in the history, also with a great view of the sea in the distance. Katerina and Enzo are very nice people, attending to the needs of their guests. Great breakfast with a lot of things to eat and excellent coffee. Katerina was very helpful in providing information on good places to eat. Grazie mille Enzo e Katerina!
