Reviewed By weasill08Had a week in Villa Pina over Easter. I’d wanted to stay there since seeing the travel agent’s photos of the hotel. We paid a little extra for a sea view, and it was so worth it. Best view from a room ever - the Bay of Naples, Capri and Ischia. The hotel itself is great, the food was excellent with choices for each course every evening and a buffet breakfast every morning (pastries, yoghurt, cake, rolls, cold meat, cheese, fruit). Not a ‘full English’ in sight, thank goodness. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels delivered - think the bed might’ve been changed every day too. There’s a bus stop just outside the hotel and other than day one, when we waited an hour, the buses into Sorrento were frequent, and only €1.30 new way, if you bought tickets in advance (easy enough at the bus/train station). All in all, a great holiday and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

The roads up to it though are horrendous as you're going up a mountain and the locals drive at you so you need to have a stomach of steel if you have hired a car! Nice pool and views .. Beware restaurant and bar very expensive!! Supermarket 10 minutes walk away.

It is a stunning property with a spectacular view and the best hospitality. We typically love being right downtown but are so glad we stayed here - you will not regret it! We did not eat at the residence the first night but after their incredible cooking class we ate the rest of our dinners here - Mena and Ana went above and beyond and cooked us the most amazing meals. Do not forget to keep a night open for their cooking class. It is so much fun and very delicious. We cannot thank Barbara, Fabio, Mena and Ana enough for our incredible stay - it was such a special week.

The pool area was a highlight for us but the entire property is well cared for with attention to detail throughout. The property contains lemon groves that make for a beautiful backdrop. We thought the free breakfast was a highlight-- the food and service was five star. We also found the staff to be extremely warm and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

As soon as we arrived Candida told us we had a free room upgrade, and that set the tone for the whole ten days. The staff were very friendly and cheerful without being intrusive. Antonio in the restaurant was a legend, keeping his young team in order, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was always relaxed and pleasant. Other reviews mention the limited but very good meals, and the wine list was also impressive. As far as we could see every room in the hotel has a good view, either of the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius or the slopes towards the Amalfi coast. Five to ten minutes' walk away is Saint Agata, a pretty village with plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets, and a regular bus service to Sorrento. There were several beautiful walks which could be started straight from the hotel. The garden and swimming pool provided a lovely area to relax after a hard day as a tourist! If you want to be in the centre of a bigger town this wouldn't be for you, but if you want somewhere friendly, relaxing, peaceful and beautiful then look no further!

Reviewed By Paula CDon't miss this hidden gem. A beautiful location in a lemon grove, very clean, friendly staff, and the food is amazing! Both breakfasts and dinners were fantastic and all the lemony treats are wonderful. We had fresh lemonade, lemon pasta, lemon cake, limoncello and I brought home the lemon olive oil. A real treat to stay with this family.

The central farmhouse is magnificently idyllic. Located there are the reception, shop and restaurant. The restaurant and staff is really great. The food is exceptionally good and the host is passionate and proud about the local produce and wines. Try the almond cake desert! Breakfast is good! They serve fresh eggs and various cakes and sweet pastry as well. There is a small pool with bar and various livestock. We loved it here!

The hotel collaborates with restaurants and tour operators in the neighborhood, giving you a seamless experience as you are picked up at the hotel and driven to and from the restaurant or event location. If you want, you can have lunch and dinner at the hotel as well.
