The Lodge: Nothing could best explain the philosophy at Pugmarks than Byron's lines. Neatly tucked away in a five acre coffee plantation are charming wooden cottage tents and wooden suites; an inviting place to be miles away from anywhere of consequence. Hemmed by the elephant corridor on one side and the thick foliage of the forest on the other, Pugmarks Jungle Lodge is Wayanad’s very own nature retreat, where being amidst nature is just a way of living. Trying to recreate the essence of being close to nature, the five acres of landscaped coffee plantation is adorned with quaint wooden and tented cottages. The lodges have been built utilizing ethnic material and the skill of local craftsmen. Classic hand carved wooden furniture, and custom made beddings, which took our seven craftsmen more than twenty days and modern bath facilities, sum up the accommodation facilities at Pugmarks Jungle Lodge.

Reviewed By lizamargetPugmarks is the place to stay if you are visiting Wayanad. We brought our pet along and our host was very kind to take care of her while we were out sightseeing. The property is beautiful and surrounded by forests, you can see different kinds of birds, flying squirrels etc. The owner organized a night safari, bird viewing walk around coffee plantation and a campfire for us. We are grateful to the owner and the staff for making our trip memorable. We will surely stay visit again someday!

Kabini river on the back side of the resort is a bonus. One can go there when have fun with family. It’s completely private. Service of staff is very prompt & polite. Mr. Mathew & Anoop and other staff members are always there to serve you. You can’t miss night Safari with Mr. Anoop. He is awesome. Mr. Guru at the time of booking the rooms was very co-operative. We had SADYA Kerala Thali for the first time at Kuruva. Can’t express in words how good it was. Regarding tiger Safari, Nanachi gate, Nagarhole Safari is 40 mins far from this resort. So plan accordingly. Food - need improvement in North Indian & continental food. Amenities - Pool table, TT, carrom, badminton is available for all the time for everyone. Tariff - Reasonable. Overall, best place for couple or family. ??

Poorly maintained facility
Reviewed By Beena VWas really disappointed at the lack of cleanliness at this hotel. Pillow cases seem used and towel seemed unclean. Given COVID times, one would abs should expect much higher standards of cleanliness at hotels. We did not stay and left.

Reviewed By dilmaluIf you really want to enjoy the natural beauty then this is the place for you.Me and my family stayed in Tree hut for one night and it was a memorable experience for everyone. Owner Sajeesh and his family were there all the time to look after us they treated us like family and he took us to the Kabani River for a swim which my son really enjoyed. I Highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By Beena VGood clean room, all COVID protocols maintained. Rooms are decent size with clean bathrooms with soap and a dental kit! Good location if you to get things in town. Very nice staff. Complimentary breakfast is okay.

Reviewed By SibyThomasHad a chance to stop for lunch at Hotel Brahmagiri enroute to Ooty from Kannur International Airport.....and regret having done so... Hotel is well located on the Malabar Hill Highway just on the outskirts of Mananthavadi town ... Ample parking space ....... Fairly big property......but requiring urgent maintenance..... Food was just average and the service was pathetic... Waiter forgot to serve the meal after laying the table and we had to remind him....... It can be an option only if no other choices available.
