Reviewed By vsuprakA beautiful and serene property by the river, right from the entrance to the whole property, there is a charm to this place, that connects one to the peaceful country life. If you are someone who enjoys the traditional architecture (especially the kind one gets to see in Kerala), this place is wow. Hospitable staff, large rooms with a good view of the adjoining river. The upper floors give you a good view, while the lower floors open out closer to the river. Lush greenery all around. A central garden and a swimming pool nestled in between all this, it is a treat for the eyes, both at day and night. Interestingly, the food is aamazing too with good choices for vegetarians. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating, while soaking in the view during the meal. Do check this place if it permits.

A calm place to stay at Kappad beach
Reviewed By HrishikeshM49We, 6 friends, had a get together at Renai Kappad Beach resort. They have beautiful cottages with balconies facing the beach. We enjoyed the food, especially the buffet breakfast. They have some minimal facilities to play badminton, tt, cricket, cycling etc. We enjoyed playing cricket on their lawn and swimming in their well maintained pool. When I forgot some of my clothes there, they even couriered them to my address.

Good Hotel for Solo / Business Trip

Room service was good. Overall good place to stay in kozhikode for solo traveller or for business trip.

Purely for an overnight stay on NH66
Reviewed By tmanish76This was another stop for an overnight halt enroute in Kerala on NH66. Had picked this place due to the location and ease of access. It is right on the highway. While parking in the evening, I requested the watchman to keep an eye on the car and gave him a little something as well. However, next morning when i had to leave at 5am, my car was blocked in by another and they did not have the key to move the car blocking me. Checkin was smooth and courteous with just one person manning the desk. There is no bar available or alcohol served. The room opens with a standard key rather than the electronic ones that are common. However, the room is spacious and well furnished. Nonetheless, the fittings have not really been maintained and there was rot on the wooden fittings in the bathroom. Did not have hot water either in the morning when i needed to take a shower before leaving. Toiletries were limited to a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo. Just basic. Food if needed can be had at the White House Restaurant which is on the ground floor and shares the same property. In case you order room service, the food comes from here only. However, no alcohol is served. There is also a cool bar and shawarma joint in the same premises. Again....OK for an overnight stay and nothing more due to the convenient location and restaurant nearby.

Reviewed By 518mudassirkVisited this resort for the second time and was pretty disappointed by the rooms. On checkin the rooms were full of dust and fungus damp patches on the wall. They immediately changed our rooms and gave us rooms on the third floor but these rooms were also full of dust and insects . But the staff were amazing as they immediately cleaned up the rooms and washrooms for us on request. Extremely wonderful staff . The rooms looked very neglected and the room in which our kids were, had damp fungus on the wall, behind the bed. Pillow covers and sheets were clean but very old and full of lint . The bathrooms had no hot water in the shower. Tiles were unclean . Also the steps leading up to the room were extremely dark at night and was difficult to find our rooms in total darkness. I got lost as I could not find my way in the darkness. Please put lights in the corridors and staircase. We had ordered room service (dinner ) and the food was very delicious and served piping hot . Soup was delicious as well. The complimentary breakfast was extremely disappointing. The omelette was unpalatable and the bread was stale. Chana was pretty good but bhaturas were burnt . Dosa, sambar and chutney was good. The only thing good about the place is the beautiful location on Kappad Beach . Could just walk across to the beach. Also the staff were extremely polite and cordial and assured us that things would be better on our next visit . Kudos to the staff . Thank you so much for your service. The garden is pretty too.

The hotel is well planned and constructed to aesthetically blend witth the surroundings. Little whimsical twins in the decor.

Reviewed By mr-josebenLess staff, Price is too high, with no quality service, its a bar so day time, not the best place, the place around the hotel is like garbage,(they don't clean the area), we were first provided with a very small room which can hardly fit two ( we were 3 in number), it was very different from the pictures, they provided us with a more spacious room only when we picked up our bags to leave, the wifi is worse than 3G, they will charge u an extra bed if u have more than 2 people, but won't provide u with one even if u ask . No hot water. And when it rains its too noisy, u will lose ur sleep. Also, this hotel contains only around 14 rooms and the useful ones are about 4-7, others are kept locked. The bedsheets we were provided were torn. Unlike other hotels, they won't provide u with a bill, they will keep on giving excuses. We asked many times since we have to present them but still, they kept giving excuses. In my opinion, only stay there if u are traveling solo and u don't get a reservation at any other decent hotel.
