Reviewed By kashgoStayed 2 nights in 2 rooms. Large rooms. Place was clean but basic. The restaurant was excellent and we ordered our dinner early asking for fish and prawns that was not in the menu. The location was on the main street though the hotel is set back with gardens and peacock visitors in the morning. Ample parking. Air-conditioning was sub par and the mini fridge didn't work. Overall fine given the location and cleanliness.

Reviewed By iswarya2014Anantya is set in a beautiful surrounding on the banks of lake Chittar. The rooms were clean and we took one Veda villa and one siddhi villa. Food was buffet and a la crate and we chose both options. Food was good, breakfast buffet could be improvised. Staff were very helpful and responsive.

Bad property, waste of money
Reviewed By karthik_reethuThis hotel badly needs renovation. Intercom phone is not working. TV remote is not working. Toilet closet cover broken. Huge exhaust fan noise while sleeping, when enquired they told it will be switched off by 11, so we have to wait till 11pm to get a good sleep.

Reviewed By vsuprakAnnai Resorts & Spa is one of the oldest Hotel/Resort in Kanyakumari. It is in a prime location, right at the beginning of the main access road to the town. Rooms are good, well maintained amenities and an easy access to the shore. Breakfast in the in-house restaurant is lovely too. You can choose from the deluxe rooms, or the sea facing cottages. I would definitely recommend whether traveling with family or alone.

Hotel Sea View is a comfortable hotel, ideally located in the heart of Kanyakumari, few minutes from the Kanyakumari Bus Terminus. Each well appointed guest room has a private bathroom, television and a direct dial telephone. Room service is available 24 hours a day. You can view sunrise , vivekanandha rock memorial and thiruvalluvar statue from the room itself.

Alternatively, the view from the terrace is much better in the morning. Saves a lot of time/hassle. However, the rooms look a bit old/dated. Atleast our bathroom, didnt have proper exhaust facilities and there was mould at some places. Overall an ok place.

I would recommend visiting places by using autos as they are easily available and only charge around 10 rupees for a person. 3) parking is available in the basement CONS: 1) We were traveling as a family with 4 adults and 1 child. By mistake, we booked a room with a triple bed thinking that we would get two double beds. We reached out to them one day prior, but we did not get proper information about the room. After reaching the hotel we realized it and requested them for two double beds rooms instead, they could have helped us with this, but they were reluctant to provide two double bedrooms. We were let down by the hotel authorities. 2) The TV is very old and only black & white. 3) Cards not accepted 4) Hot water supplied only during mornings 4 am to 10 am

Good place to park your car under the big trees. Easy to reach & nearer from railway station also. Swimming pool , lane area are well maintained , but Covid doesn't allow us to use it. Special thanks to Mr. Danush - who made all to us. And a surprise Birthday cake arranged by him by their own when i had a general enquiry . Thanks t Mr.Sanjiv & Other restaurant peoples also. Positive Point: Excellent Property, Atmosphere , Peoples, Food too. To be improved: Daily room service , we are 4+1 kid but need to consider : Bath towel / Tea / Water bottle, and accessories arranged for 2 persons. need to ask every time for this.

Reviewed By PKS188The location of this hotel is infront of Vivekananda Trust Main Gate at very prime location. The room was very good and hygienic and they were maintained very needly. Everything in the rooms are well maintained and updated. good parking area, very responsible and loyal reception person. We felt pleasure to stay in the hotel. "We can see the sun raise from the terrace of the hotel.”

Prime Located Average old Hotel for short stay
Reviewed By AFriend00Location: This is a well located hotel with most of other hotels in Kanyakumari just adjacent. This is probably one of the older hotels constructed in 90s\ early 2000s needing renovation. The location is prime\ old & hence not well planned for today's needs. The location is suitable for visiting the sunrise\ sunset points, boarding the boat to Vivekananda Rock, walk around with all the other visitors. Parking: Almost all the hotels (except a couple) here dont have enough parking. All cars were parked on the road & this one was not an exception. About 4 cars were parked & remaining they tried to find parking in other hotels. But, the place was very congested during visit that i wished i had not brought the car to this road. Good point was traffic was being cleared regularly by some of the other hotel staff. Rest assured any hotel in this area is having this challenge. The government parking facility near shore was always full despite its large size during both days of my stay. Rooms: The room brought in memories of hotels i had visited in 90s. There were not adequate pillows, improperly placed cupboard blocking light, old toilet provisions, had hooks in the room to hang dresses which is not seen nowadays, toilets with no exhaust & small window in toilet shows up on the corridor side. The intercom provided does not work. On day of visit, someone visiting terrace for viewing sunrise had damaged the solar panel & hence no hot water. That said, the room is adequate for a day or two stay considering the location advantage it comes with. A\C room needs to chosen if needed & TV provided. You will get towels & soap but no other accessories. Staff: The staff at reception were very supportive, They helped with baggage collection during check-in & check-out, parking the car, providing additional pillows on request, etc without any hesitation. Restaurant: There is no restaurant in this hotel. The area is surrounded by lot of "small" eateries within 200m but ALL were crowded during our time of visit. Couple of decent restaurants were always crowded that you cant step in. You will need to manage with available small eateries mostly. There is a Saravana Bhavan near the temple along the shore but no other chain of hotels. Walking is the BEST transport mode around. Overall: This is a average hotel for those visiting Kanyakumari as a tourist to visit the attractions without need for additional transportation. The pricing was way higher in comparison to facilities provided due to peak season.
