Wonderful stay of 3 days with family
Reviewed By amitdharSerene location, out of the locality. There are 21 rooms scattered on the slop of the hill. Surrounded by the nature. An excellent group of young staff is there to take care of all your needs. Food is very tasty, and you can have it in your room, or restaurant area or in any cottage spread around the area. No problem in arranging a cab for tour. Lots of activities are available, few of them are free with CP type of room booking. As the rooms are on the slop of the hill, be prepared to climb up stairs to reach your room. We got hut number 301, the topmost cottage. And you may get companies of few lizards in the room. Everything was wonderful, only disappointment for me was the room(301)- that is for only two persons, and for us booked for 3, with extra charges. But after reaching we found there was no place to put an extra mat, and we 3 had to manage in that single bed.

Due to COVID19, the management has grabbed the opportunity to renovate King Chilly, the ethnic restaurant. Let me share about some guest behaviour. Two elderly couples checked-in at the same time with me. from the very point of checking in at the reception one of the elderly gentleman was asking questions, mainly irritating the person behind the counter. However, the young lad handled it very nicely with a constant smile in his face. Again, I was fortunate (?) to dine alongside them. All the 3 persons were fine, looking at the menu, however this person was criticizing the vegetarian menu and was making some very low comments on the food habits of the people. after ordering, some veg items the waiter asked the number of Rotis that are required, to which he created such an issue that the waiter wondered what wrong he has made. Just for quoting, how dare you ask for the number of Rotis I will eat, it depends on my mood and appetitive, only the quotable part. I was taken aback as the waiters are always very well mannered there. maybe the elderly gentleman had some preconceived notion about the people and was trying to prove his point. I take this opportunity to salute the people who have to work with a smile in such arduous situations.

Beautiful designed resort
Reviewed By touristy28The resort is really beautiful designed with lovely greenery all over. However the areas where there could be improvement is the food which is average in taste. The breakfast service and option was not too good. Also housekeeping which did give us stained bedsheets and cockroaches in the room . Still non withstanding the drawbacks the room itself was beautiful and big. Also I don't understand the policy of threatening to fine residents if clothes are hung on the balcony. Fine I understand hanging wet clothes especially after a swim in the pool on balconies is unaesthetic but give an alternative like a retractable clothesline in the bathroom.
