Reviewed By 557TonyCNice Hotel and i think the best in Jingzhou at this time. The room was exceptionally hot and uncomfortable despite the cold weather. Don't bother staying in the club level. it is very subpar and doesn't serve a good range of alcoholic beverages.

Reviewed By KennethT670Good local 5 star hotel in Jingzhou. At RMB350 per night. It's good value. Large comfortable room with most of the amenities a business Traveller will expect. A few minor things to improve the hook behind toilet door is more than 6 ft high, which is not a comfortable height. The label On the Shampoo dispenser is upside down. Overall, exceed expectations.

Truly Luxury Hotel
Reviewed By HoussamDayoubWanda Realm Hotel is truly one of the most luxury hotels I've been to. The designs and decorations of this hotel reflects the culture and beauty of China. The lobby is quite impressive, the rooms are well established, wide apace and very clean. Location is close to historic city wall and river, and next to a big shopping mall (about 5 min walking distance), where you may find International Fast Food chains in addition to Chinese Restaurants. Hotel restaurants are mainly Chinese and you'll find it difficult to eat if you do not like Asian Food. Staff is quite nice, however, No English speakers! Internet service is terrible, and Google applications is not allowed in China. Smoking rooms are available. I highly recommend this hotel, and it will be my choice if I visit this city again.

Decent hotel by Chinese standards
Reviewed By AJMTripsStayed here on business for two nights. The hotel is clean and reasonably well equipped. Rooms are ok for size, and equipment. Bed reasonably comfortable, room temperature a little cool, but extra bedding in wardrobe, so slept well. Bathroom clean and tidy, standard shower over bathtub arrangement with shower curtain. Breakfast is a mixture; mostly Chinese, but cereal and toast available, and coffee (not very hot though). All in all, very reasonable at 310RMB per night including breakfast.

Not a professional hotel
Reviewed By Michael KI would avoid this place if you are booking it for the Gym or Pool like we did. The hotel sells tickets to these two things out extremely cheaply for a little extra income and each day the pool is filled with kids from 8am to 9pm when the pool is opened. Worse yet, the parents and their children use the gym as a playground, which is next to the pool, and it makes both places unusable. Generally 30-40 kids in the pool at any given time during the day and several children under 10 running around the gym playing with the equipment. The hotel staff don't seem to care after making several complaints about the gym. These people are extremely unfriendly. I've stayed at the Wyndham and Wanda hotels near by for the same price-- I would recommend them over this place. This place is far from a 4 or 5 star hotel which it claims to be.

Communist throwback?
Reviewed By Jarko2015This large property very close to east gate and bridge is surprisingly comfortable and welcoming, despite a rather unimpressive and imposing communist style design. The hotel is more geared to Chinese than foreigners, but the staff do their very best with their poor English to make you feel welcome. The lobby is bright and the restaurant is very modern, but the rest of the hotel is a bit gloomy looking. However, the rooms are large, well air conditioned, very clean and well kept, if a little lacking in creature comforts. The bathrooms have a shower only, but the hot water is plentiful and the water pressure excellent. In the room, there's a flat screen TV with about 300 channels and every single of them is Chinese! There are lots of snacks and drinks in the room for purchase and no free water. There's a kettle and cups, but no tea or coffee. Or rather there is tea, but you have to buy it. Beds are a little on the hard side, but still comfortable enough. Free wi-fi with excellent signal is available everywhere. It's a 10CNY taxi ride from the main station and buses from outside the property run all over the inner walled city to the sites. I got a great deal and it was worth it. The only snag is the breakfast, which was included in the rate. It's geared solely for Chinese tastes. Boiled eggs and some very sweet cake was the only thing that appealed from the buffet. There was no tea or coffee at all, which I thought was very odd. I also decided to have lunch before I left but at 1:45PM, they refused service saying the chef left at Noon. The restaurant was packed with Chinese families eating, so this was clearly a misunderstanding of they simply didn't want to serve me. I've no idea which. Either way, it's a good, cost effective spot to stay in Jingzhou.
