The delicious food at the pizzaria was a nice surprise with an extensive list of delicious selections from pizza to pasta to fresh seafood. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend this place. Plus it's a very short walk to the most beautiful beaches and the historic castle that remains from the 15th century. We will book this hotel again next trip. Arrivederchi!

Reviewed By MFK47The resort is absolutely lovely, with beautifully designed rooms, hospitable front desk staff, a gorgeous private beach/pool and one of the finest Michelin star restaurants in Calabria! Our room is quite large, with bountiful storage, a large bathroom, a gorgeous view of the Sea, as well as a large outdoor terrace with tub! We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who is a delightful gentleman, planning more hotels in Rome and Milan. He cares about quality, and has surrounded himself with friendly experienced staff, and is striving to put Calabria on the map.

Great for family with kids
Reviewed By 122milanjWe visited at the beginning of July. Occupancy was around 25%, and we often had the swimming pool for our selves. Only Italians in the hotel, which was great. Big thank you to Giovanni and Fabio from the main bar, who were very helpful, friendly to kids and attentive. Great Italian coffee everywhere and anytime. 5 mins walk from the town Le Castella with many shops, restaurants, etc. There is a 2400y old castle right by the beach making the view breathtaking. Definitely recommend. ACCOMODATION 2 story villas with individual apartments are spread across well maintained garden with palm trees. Large room with TV, individual aircon, fridge. All good. FOOD We got all inclusive, incl. free alcohol drinks from noon. Breakfast - only weaker point. Every day the same. It was tasty, especially freshly baked 4 kinds of croissants, but remained the same for whole week. Lunch&Dinner - always changing, and very delicious mostly Italian food. Wide variety of starters, salads, 3 types of pasta (always done perfectly al dente), meat, fish, or seafood dish. Once we even got nice rare done tuna steak. Ice cream for lunch, different local desserts for dinner. Best was Mille-feuilles. I think we have tasted most of the italian dishes :-) POOLS & BEACH 2 big pools, one up to 2,6m deep. Jacuzzi and pool for little kids. All very clean, with life guards. Nice sandy beach, directly in front of the hotel. Free chairs from 6th row. Very clean beach and water. Gradual entrance into the sea. Perfect for kids. ENTERTAINMENT Very large Animation crew of of about 17 people. Very friendly and helpful. Had a lot of energy and a lot of different activities for the kids. They also had activities and games for adults, evening shows with singing and dance shows. Guy with guitar played live after lunch and in the evening by the main bar. All done in Italian, but anyone can follow and was a lot of fun. They even have a big stage/amphitheater with professional sound and lighting equipment for the evening shows. One tip. Since the hotel is clearly oriented towards Italians, not so many people can speak English which didn’t bother us. It would be very helpful to have a manual in English explaining all animations programs, trips, what hotel has to offer and especially that one pool is for relaxation only etc. We figured it out on our own but it would have been nice to know advance like the Italians did on their first night during the information show. I would also add some more people in the morning during breakfast to help out at the coffee corner. We loved our stay. It was really what our family needed. Very relaxing, entertaining, good food and great people. Thank you!!!

Reviewed By Denis PThis is a perfect hotel for one night stay. Nothing spectacular but good enough to rest in peace. The strong point of the hotel is a pool which you can use during your stay. On the other hand the weak point is the breakfast buffet which is very modest (just some danish pastries and coffee).

The rooms are really simple but good enough and confortable. Abbiamo avuto un incredibile momento in quello postò. i titolari sono gentilissimi e il posto è daverro incredibile con una vista meravigliosa. Ritornerò lì sicuramente. Le stanze sono semplice però abbastanza e comodo.

Reviewed By KhamliaThe hotel had a very good location, in the center, short walk to the Castello Aragonese. Even to the beach is it not far. The room was comfortable, beds nice, wifi worked good. The bathroom was nice also. Everything was clean and nice. Comfortable sitting on the terrace while breakfast. Signora was very nice and helpful. It was not the hotel's fault of course, but because of the central location there was a lot of noise from the street and it was quite annoying at night when there was music coming from several different places around. One night there was no restaurant that played until 4 o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately all rooms on the other side were busy so we were able to change rooms only last night. It was nice then. So if you are going to book a room, do not ask the room toward the street.

Relaxing start of the day guaranteed by the breakfast(acompanied by a soft classical music). The owners and friendly and helpful and i can tell they put their soul into this hotel.

Excellent food, nice location
Reviewed By Antonio SWe really loved this place. Food is excellent and staff were very friendly and nice. I would recommend the antipasti di mare (seafood starters) plentiful! The fish and pastas was very good and fresh, reasonable prices.
