The hotel located near by all attractions of hampi hotel staffs are good and rooms are spacious and clean I wish all of royal orchid staffs for their hospitality specially mentioned cleaning team on floor good and smiley. Recommended for family travellers.

My family trip to Hampi
Reviewed By Resort614423Visited Hampi with family on 2nd September. It’s a one day site seeing. Went through all the monuments. Very good place to see with family. And was pleasure to know the history of the king Sri krishnadevarayalu. I booked hotel Swagath (gone through the reviews in google) not through any site but called hotel directly and got good discounts. The stay and food at this hotel was very good

Reviewed By Sanjay_1234Location: The hotel is located very close to Hospet Bus stand. The local bus service is good, with buses at regular intervals to Hampi and TB Dam. With autorickshaws fleecing the customers in in peak seasons, it is good to have an alternative. The area around the hotel is nice, with lot of dining options. It is also safe to walk around with family at night. The hotel has an elevator, which is convenient if you have luggage to carry. Room: The room was big and nice. The beds and blankets were clean. There were a couple of spots on the floor, which were cleaned quickly after we notified the reception. Hot water was available for 24 hours. Dining: There is a nice south Indian restaurant at the ground floor and a North Indian restaurant on the first floor. Because of the quick service, and reasonable rates, we went to the South Indian restaurant many times. An old grandmotherly lady is tasked with collecting the plates and washing them. On our last visit to the restaurant, we gave a small tip to this lady. She was so happy that she lifted our bags and started to escort us till the main road, but we did not let her ?.

Reviewed By Gisun6601. room was a suite. good and spacious. 2. when we arrived.... being senior citizens....asked for help with bags. noboy as available although we had called ahead 2. what the htel does NOT tell you is that the breakfast is at their sister hotel and you ahve to walk upto another hotel having their own suite of guests 3. secondly you are to gte coupons otherwise they dont serve you. so back and forth we went as our recepionis forgot to give us coupons 4. THERE WAS BEDLAM at the restaurant and the food was below par. we ran out. 5. next day without telling us ... a separate breakfast table was organised at the Pride. unfortunately the manager called prasanth had taken this adhic decision WITHOUT informing all the guests. PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU AHVE A CHOICE STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE

Pathetic, Horrible and what NOT

Their rooms don't look as shown on the images, TV won't work, Bathrooms are just like the washrooms in train or at bustands. During night I called them to report mosquitoes and they responded with a smile yes sir we have mosquitoes and we don't have any coil or liquid in stock, TV won't work they came with a recharged Tata sky box at 11.30 in the night, and it had only regional news channel's. Their Lenin and towels are full of stale gutka smell, my mother had breakfast and picked up motions. Overall, absolute waste of money and vacation. They charged me 2k per night. You can get a similar stay at 500/- in a local lodge. This is not a 2 star hotel, it's a third class lodge. ??

Reviewed By Pramod895In this digital India, the very big hotel of Hospet doesn’t accept card payment. This is very shameless part. We had food in the veg section and after giving the bill he is telling card payments are not acceptable. Wurst experience at SHANBHAG

Good for single night stay
Reviewed By lvchandrasaliI have stayed at this homestay for a night. The rooms were big.. The facilities provided were not good. Bedsheets were not washed. Also I found many cockroaches in the room. Also there is no good restaurant nearby. But it is comfortable for overnight stay.
