An enjoyable week spent at this hotel. Everything works, even the room air condtioning at a touch.!

We had a king sized room fitted out for disabled people - my wife & i found it very helpful. Storage space for clothes was a bit sparse but very comfortable otherwise. We were very impressed with the courtesy of all staff members. Parking a problem - Even with my blue badge on display I was fined £70 for parking 'across the road' as indicated by the staff. I understand new parking facilities are being built? Definitely would use this hotel again. Alice on reception is taking this up with the authorities - we have not heard back since...?

Disappointing, standards have slippedd

Reviewed By Daphne C

A pretty awful experience. The whole place has gone to seed. Despite knowing that rooms are not cleaned daily we did not expect spilled food in corridors to remain there the 5 days of our stay. Breakfast room quite disgusting, tables cleared of food debris & left standing by tills. Not good.

Disappointed

So Disappointed not what I paid for £250, for one night ,to be put in basement with limited sea view. Had to go down 2 flights of stairs didn’t expect that. Breakfast was good, hotel was grand Bedroom was very small, not like pictures, I wanted a lovely luxury relaxing break this was not it. I had requested high floor sea view. I was told by reception that is was very busy weekend and in future to get a good deal book direct not with booking .com I had looked at the price and it was £40 more for the same room (hence booking .com) Would I go again yes to Torquay not to this hotel.
