Reviewed By Lawrence MThis is an exquisite hotel just outside Chiang Mai. It is set in a stunningly beautiful botanic garden which boasts an abundance of paths which wind past lakes, cactus gardens, orchid gardens and a variety of other horticultural delights. There is a different vista at every turn and it is easy to lose yourself in the spectacular beauty of this place. The hotel consists of six complexes of high quality, mostly single story accommodation with beautifully furnished rooms. Some are in the traditional Lanna style of northern Thailand and others offer more contemporary fittings. Most of the room complexes have their own swimming pool. This gives the impression of being in a small hotel while in fact there are a large number of rooms. There is a restaurant which provides a comprehensive menu of Thai and western food at reasonable prices. An excellent buffet breakfast will satisfy most tastes. There is also a spa that provides quality massage. Although the hotel is out of town a free one way bus is provided to the town centre daily, while a return shuttle to Chiang Mai's night market is scheduled every evening. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and are always ready to help with a smile. My wife and I have visited this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. We were here in late January to mid February 2020, just as the current health crisis was beginning to emerge and we were impressed by the attention to the well-being of the guests and staff that was applied by the hotel management. If you want a well appointed hotel in a peaceful setting with the facilities of a vibrant city a short ride away then this is the place to stay.

Resort in a quiet and natural environment with plenty of opportunities for activities 20 km away from the city center of Chiang Mai. Fantastic view over rice fields to the mountains. All rooms are luxury furnished with aircon, minibar, TV and DVD. All bungalows have a private tropical garden. Nice swimming pool.

Reviewed By Martin aryeh WWe booked for one night as a stopover on our way to chiang rai , we really didn’t expect much as we had just left a beautiful 5 star resort , and thought this booking would be a huge disappointment , how wrong we’re we , the property which is a collection of wooden bungalows is set in amongst rice fields and although not fancy it more than makes up for it with charm and a great atmosphere .The property is very Thai in style which we loved ,the bungalow had an excellent bathroom with 2 showers one of which had an open air roof .the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean . The staff are very pleasant particularly the owners . The on-site restaurant where we ate in the evening was excellent and very reasonable , the breakfast the following day also did not disappoint. All in all this is an absolute gem of a hotel don’t hesitate to book if you’re in the area

Reviewed By Kimberley DWe stayed with Nong and her family for 4 nights in the Garden Hut. We had our own basic bathroom and a large bed with a mosquito net. There was a small fridge on the porch from which cold drinks could be purchased for a nominal fee. We did 2 day tours during our stay (hill tribe village, orchid farm and waterfall & the Chiang Mai City tour). We visited the local handicraft village and gained a much deeper understanding of the workmanship and artistry of the local trades. Nong & Coco were gracious hosts and tour guides-we could not have had better! Our special dinner (don’t recall the name but it started with a ‘K’) was delicious and we appreciated the time Nong spent with us to answer our questions and share her knowledge. We used Nong’s bicycles to tour the village visiting the rice fields and local market. We enjoyed our stay and left feeling like we had experienced a little of local village life.

Reviewed By DiW204While staying with our daughter and family in Chiang Mai recently, she booked for us all to stay for a night in these treehouses - and we had the skyscraper Tamarind room! The resort is quirky and fun, with lovely friendly staff, good wholesome food and certainly takes you away from it all, while there! We had a tasty dinner, no choice but well cooked and efficiently served, followed by lighting a campfire and toasting marshmallows- a highlight for the children! Our treehouse was very high, very well built (though wouldn’t pass any western health and safety tests!) basically furnished - but a wonderful and highly recommended experience. We took the short route in, which involved a river bridge followed by 3kms of very rough dirt road to reach the resort - fine in a 4WD and no big deal if you live in Australia - but not in a precious 2WD car!

Reviewed By Dream26497791924After previously moving around painfully and too many times in and around Chiang Mai during the current pandemic I am now staying in Jasmine Hills since 3 months. This place really makes a difference. The owners are professionals, the resort is very well kept and it has got a very good spirit. There's friendly social life and there's ample space to relax. Doi Saket, the surrounding village is safe and sound, the locals are very welcoming. Chiang Mai is within reach using grab cars or local buses.

Our place is located in a rural atmosphere but only 30 minutes from the center of Chiang Mai. It is convenient for the travelers who needs a quiet atmosphere : Many families with children stay in our place because of our family rooms suitable for 4 people. Children enjoy the garden and the swimming pool , they can play with our very gentle cats. We can take you to local restaurants, advise you place to visit in our neighborhood. Transportation to the city is now very easy with Grab application. Away, Comfy and Peaceful
Reviewed By J404Doi Saket region, a place less travelled, has plenty to offer by car. But looking for a reasonably comfortable place to stay could be a challenge, as many are just the basics and may not match everyone’s idea of a relaxing stay. Away is after all reputable for her good chain of hotels in Thailand. That said, you can be assured it will meet your expectations of reasonable comfort. The room size is generous for sure, nothing of a disappointment. They had a small balcony but it was more catered for mosquitoes looking for prey. It was cool December season, so I did not get to indulge in the pool right down the center of the resort. But I bet it is great for hotter months. Imagine, coming back to the resort all exhausted and overheated, jump straight into the pool and order that cold beer. Retreat into relaxation. Immediate surroundings, nothing. Even looking for a restaurant will be a challenge unless you have a car. I have a car, but following Google Maps’ recommendations got me to a plot of barren land. So, it was back to the hotel to dine. I have to say the price was rather steep. I was comparing to what I could have paid if it was at local eats this region. But it was really generous in portion. Other than chilling out enjoying the ambiance by the pool in the night, I could have also enjoyed their hot sauna which was offered free to all hotel guest. The guest, a small number of van loads and mostly foreigners. No rowdy crowds while I was there, the night peaceful. Great selection of English channels on the flat screen TV. I slumbered well.

I would be careful to choose the room . The rooms are not the same quality . You may want to check the room first before you checked in .

Sie hat vier Doppelbungalows errichet, wobei sie fünf Einheiten vermietet. Die Bungalows sind geräumig, mit Terrasse und geschmackvoll eingerichet (wie von Phoo nicht anders zu erwarten). Ein schöner Swimming Pool sorgt für Erholung und - das ist neu - ein Restaurantt bietet täglich hervorragende Thai-Küche an (Ruhetag Sonntag, an dem üblicherweise die Gäste gemeinsam in eines der Restaurants der Umgebung pilgern). Alles also erstklassig und wärmstens zu empfehlen.
