ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS B & B

Reviewed By 937georgec

We stayed for 2 nights when touring the Causeway Coast . The experience staying at Cullentra House is certainly equivalent to any 4* or 5* hotel that we have stayed in .The reviews and awards they have received say it all .. it is an absolutely fabulous B & B and I would 100% recommend it to any tourists planning to visit the Causeway Coast & the Glens of Antrim. Olive & James are impeccable hosts and attention to detail is there to be seen .. the place is spotlessly clean and tidy , the rooms were very comfortable and finished to a very high standard .. free view television and excellent wi fi . The dining room settings were outstanding and would grace any fine dining restaurant. The breakfast menu had a very extensive choice .. plus Olives amazing homemade cake and scones .. we opted for the Ulster fry and it was absolutely delicious and very generous portions . From the garden we had a beautiful view of Cushendall Bay & the surrounding countryside .. we certainly look forward to staying again on our next visit to the Glens

Better than chain hotel quality

Reviewed By gibbihols

Well decorated and clean rooms. Good AirB&B style accomodation, so no nosy owners. Great bar downstairs and handy for others. Nice arrangement with Cafe Cova for brekkie with good choice and quality of food. Cushendall perfect for walks, fishing and of course, hurling. The Lurig is ideal for a good pint of Guinness and a game of pool. Most of their regulars are nice people.

McMullan's Central Bar B&B

Fantastic Spot

Reviewed By thebigP_247

Great location in Cushendall and the B&B rooms are comfortable, well equipped and we had a solid nights sleep with no noise from the bar or the road traffic outside. Room did get a little warm (no air con) but apart from that no issues. Parking is available in the free public car park opposite next to the river, check in is at the bar and the pints and atmosphere is spot on. Staff couldn’t do more to help. Breakfast is served in the Cafe Cova 2 mins around the corner with a great selection available. Fantastic trip and already booked it again for another stay!

Beautiful house and surroundings but a word of warning!

Reviewed By Niciaran

We absolutely loved this stunning house, exterior and interior and the fabulous gardens surrounding it with view of the sea. Couldn't ask for a better location, right on the amazing cliff walk and by a gorgeous little beach. All the rooms are so nice inside, so many things to look at and feels like you've gone back in time! The only word of warning we have is for people to make sure they get a receipt straight after paying the owner Peter in cash. We paid him the full amount on a Sunday and asked for a receipt which he said he'd give us but when we were leaving on Wednesday he approached us asking for the money saying he had no record that we paid him. We were able to remind him of the details of the payment and got him to write a receipt on the spot using our own pen and paper of which he said he had none- so we really wanted to warn others of the possibility of this happening to them.. . Don't let it deter you from staying here as it really is a hidden gem, just be careful you have proof of payment!
