Reviewed By H4526FRnataliesWe choose this hotel based on the great experience of our friends and, also, multiple reviews from other guests. Unfortunately, not the same experience. Service was … unfriendly.. to say at least. One of the owners made us feel unwelcome from the beginning. After driving for several hours to Tuscany, last 10 min on challenging entrance road to the hotel make us completely exhausted. No welcome sympathy… just dry check in. Unfortunately, no member of staff who can speak English. Hotel is in charming, with fantastic pneumatique view but very isolated. Out of 6 days of stay, 3 days were not available for dinner. Last minute notes, means, we found out about it at the breakfast. No alternatives suggested, no other options or help to make holidays easier. Do it yourself. The dinners which we had, were very simple but very expensive. Wine list limited. Again, no suggestions or help from the staff. Nice pool. But , again , do not expect anybody to look after you: offer a drink (30 degrees outside) or just simply be interested in well-being of your guests… After few days , I just wanted to escape.. and I did .. When book you book this hotel , make sure Elisabetta will be there; without her its nightmare!!!

The farmstay is nestled between the vineyards of Tuscany not far from the beautiful Val d' Orcia. The estate consists of rooms and apartments furnished with beamed ceilings and wooden floors. Here you can use free Wi-Fi service and satellite TV . The agritourism has a covered parking, garden with umbrellas and pool. In the morning you can have breakfast in the courtyard overlooking the waterfall pool. Breakfast is included in the price.

Reviewed By Leoni VWe have visited this place once before and absolutely fell in love!! The stunning panoramic views of Tuscan countryside is breathtaking. I cannot fault this place at all!! If you are looking for an inclusive get away, peace and quiet this is the place to go. Nothing but the relaxing sounds of birds and the trickle of water coming from your private infinity pool. You can do as much or as little as you want too. But you must hire a car to visit this place,everywhere is a drive away if you wanted to go to the beaches, or visit other towns in the area. But this makes a fantastic road trip! The views while driving are incredible. The whole place is set around beauitful vineyards and Olive trees. You can go wine tasting, which I would highly recommend. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and nothing is ever too much. They cater beyond your needs. This family run business is a hidden gem!! A must see place!! We are now planning our wedding here. :)

The apartments of Tenuta di Montecucco are nestled between the hills of the Maremma Tuscany, about 40 minutes from Montalcino. The estate consists of 10 apartments equipped by free Wi-fi and satellite TV . Guests have access to garden and pool . Breakfast is served only on request . The farmstay also consists of a large restaurant, wine shop and free parking . At Tenuta Montecucco is possible to taste the famous wines of ColleMassari whose cellar is a two -minute drive from the farmstay.
Nearly good enough, but not quite.
Reviewed By W0nderGuestA word of warning to guests that are expecting a faultless experience. This is not that. While the surroundings and buildings are beautiful there remains a lot of snags this hotel still has to work out. I travelled with a large wedding party and my comments reflect our multiple experiences. (please note that the only reason I list these is because if a hotel charges the prices this venue does, the below mistakes should never happen) But first the GOOD: magnificent views, expertly manicured gardens, gorgeous buildings (despite a tacky church interior), a delicious breakfast and a wonderful escape from whatever business you are taking time away. Gurdip, a manager I think, is extremely professional and certainly the most reliable staff member I encountered at the hotel. Denise was also very kind. The highlight for me was the bialetti coffee maker and delicious filter coffee in our apartment. Excellent. The BAD: There is a air of limited experience in running hotels about this place, that or that the hotel finds its guests a little tedious. Some guests complained about not being able to gain access into the grounds when arriving to check-in because staff were ‘on lunch’. I had encountered this myself when I called the establishment prior to staying there and was told they were ‘on lunch’ and I should phone back later... I was quite stunned (Basil Fawlty). The reception was sometimes locked and in darkness. The security fob they gave me couldn’t open the gate upon our return and late at night it was very hard to call somebody to let us in. The water in my shower cut out mid-shower. There is only one staff member serving breakfast and they always looked overwhelmed and service was a little slow. Plates were never available and one needed to ask for them. An overall lack of staff was clearly evident despite the hotel seemingly fully occupied. There is a large disparity in the apartments; with some being very modern and some quite antique-like... Finally, despite a good breakfast offering, they only offered cold plates for any other meal. A hotel that is charging a premium should have some hot meal options, even simple ones. Overall I would recommend this place, but think one should go in knowing you are paying to fill your eyes, not your tummies or patience levels.

After arrival at Podere Carceroni we were happy to see that it was the absolute right decision. The location is simply stuning and perfect for somebody looking for recreation and a place of calm. The rooms are cleaned every day with absolute perfection. You have to know there is no air condition except for the cottage. The dinner for which you have to pay 38€ per person excl drinks is absolutely perfect and at a star level niveau. Every evening there was a different choice for your 4 course menue. The owmers Valeria and Maurizio are very lovely persons and especially Greta at the reception is so friendly and extraordinary hospitably. All in all a perfect stay in a perfect accommodation. We will come back :-)

Reviewed By Elena SPoderi Firenze is located in calm enviroment surrounded by vineyards and olive trees and it is just right choice, if you would like to rest. The building is combining old and new architecture features, so you would find yourself in dining room with stones walls overlooking vineyards via fantastic huge windows or bedroom with light underlining the atmosphere created by old stone/masonry walls. And when you add two fantastic, charming ladies-Valeria and Flavia, who lead the agroturismo, your stay will end up to be the best in Tuscany. I would like to thank them for all things that they have done for us beginning with wonderful breakfast with homemade gluten-free cake for me, tips for trips and restaurants as well as amazing wine tasting that we have done at agroturismo.

Le Capannacce are consisting of four beautiful cottages with pool,sorrounded by the pleasant tuscan countryside.Olive tress and vine yards are the sitting of this idyllic spot.The cottages, all completely detached,comprise living room with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.Outside there are a nice veranda,an indipendent garden with barbecue and a private parking lot.Further you could taste our extravergin olive oil and doc Montecucco wines.
