Family run and very proud of what they have achieved they are on hand 24/7 to offer all sorts of advice and never too busy for a friendly chat. The building itself is steeped in Chiaramonte history, up to the 50s it was still a train station, luckily many of the features have been incorporated in the hotel. The food is nothing short of excellent, and I am a horrible food critic, both the breakfast and dinner had variety, freshness and quality. Lots of local dishes on the menu but again they are happy to oblige with requests. I asked for tirimasu The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and good size shower. The pool is fabulous, well kept with a large shallow pool for children and a jacuzzi, sun beds sit on a lawn with trees and plants all round which makes such a difference from the usual tiles. it really is a very special set up. All in all ANTICA STAZIONE is definitely well worth a stay. Close to Ragusa and the old town of Chiaramonte Gulfi it is well placed surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. I have to mention Simona who actually speaks perfect English or she wont feed us tonight and she keeps trying to see what i am writing. But really she is a STAR who has endless energy as she handles every aspect of the hotel. Thank you to ALL the family for making our stay so memorable. We will be back.

Location is very good too, although not in the centre of Chiaramonte it is only 10mins drive to the town. Terre Iblee has ample parking space, amazing grounds for children and is also child friendly. Facilities are very clean.

Reviewed By Oliver SWe had a tour of the production and storage facilities, followed by lunch and wine tasting, all very professional and satisfying. The wine master was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, something nobody should take for granted while in Sicily. Cherasuolo di Vittoria was my choice and we bought two bottles but when we tried them on the next day, the wine showed signs of fermentation. Maybe the weather did it, although I doubt it, the car is air conditioned. I also bought local saffron, very reasonably priced. The views are spectacular.

Оба номера оформлены в разных стилях, очень красивые (О, эта ванная!!) даже хотели поменяться местами на несколько ночей ) Это, конечно, не бюджетный вариант. Все такое новое и чистое, будто мы первые постояльцы. Завтрак необычный, много домашних продуктов, щедрый. И все очень красиво сервировано, оригинальная посуда. Каминный зал с люстрой на цепях, обивка на диванах, множество очень красивых деталей интерьера - рай для фотографов - никуда и выезжать не надо. И тишина!! Оливковые рощи, виноградники, пастораль. Очень понравилось. Съездили в Джарратану, Моддик, Заферано, Педалино, Рагузу и еще десяток маленьких аутентичных городков. И сам Кьярамонте-Гульфи очень милый, как раз был какой-то местный праздник. Сходили по совету хозяйки в пару хороших ресторанчиков. И на рынок в Комизо. Еще плюс этой виллы - хозяйка Наташа русская, очень приятный, интеллигентный человек. Они с мужем увлеклись выращиванием оливок и винограда. Сами делают вино и мало. Мы привезли домой кое-что в качестве сувенира ) Но осталось только масло. Вино быстро выпили. Случайно там пересеклись с маленькой группой, и присоединились на один день к ним. Съездили в Доннафугату (не уверена, что правильно написала) - огромнейший парк и замок. Много всего интересного, гротики, беседки. Но удивил каменный лабиринт - не шуточный, а настоящий, еле выбрались. Вечером прямо на вилле видели мастер-класс по сицилийским блюдам. Было очень весело. Мы вряд ли вернемся сюда - стараемся дважды в одно место не ездить. Но очень рекомендую путешественникам на а/м в качестве базы для знакомства с регионом - место идеальное - до моря полчаса, и по городам покататься. И на самой вилле можно просто хорошо спокойно отдохнуть.

Relaxing, off the beaten track, in beautiful countryside
Reviewed By zinoroper73Great hospitality and great environment to go exploring the countryside from. We also got to try fresh produce from the grounds the house is situated in, kindly offered to us by Paolo who runs this B&B with his daughter. We drove there in our hire car following Googlemaps and there were good signs for 'Ronnavona' from a distance away at the key junctions, so although it's a bit off the beaten track we had no problem finding it. Paolo and his daughter (who speaks great English) were very hospitable and unprompted gave us a rough map so we could do a great ~2hr, very leisurely, exploratory walk around the countryside that took in seeing over 1000 year olive trees, lovely wild flowers and gorgeous views!

Reviewed By Stefan CWe had a lovely time at casa go el. Quiet and peaceful and extremely homely. The owners are lovely. The dog was made to feel very welcome too as they are clearly animal lovers. The cold fridge near the lovely pool was also great. We also had a superb privately cooked meal in the courtyard which was probably the highlight of the whole holiday .

Reviewed By panyhorchataOur stay in Dimora di Dante was top notch! Natasja and Marcel (and of course family Luca, Dante and Giulia) will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We felt blessed to spend the most relaxing week at their home, filled with such warmth and kindness. Upon arrival we were gifted a bottle of the fine local wine Nero d’Avola. Natasja is an excellent cook who will create any vegan dish so effortless and deliciously creative. For a night out we highly recommend Natasja’s tip of La Borgatella Pizzeria — a true gem representing the Sicilian flavours. Natasja guided us through the region with tips to visit and introduced us to almost any local product that was presented and tasted in the breakfasts throughout the week. The dimora itself is very charming and the old olive oil press is still present to admire — also the olive trees are still active for their finest olive oil! Lay around at the beautiful pool while indulging the view, visit the exciting and surprising surroundings, stay in for a night of cooking in the kitchen while enjoying a glass of wine and a cosy chat at the open terrace in the warmt of the fig trees. We will not hesitate to book again. Thank you so much to the entire team!
