What an Excellent Find!!

The wedding hotel (Grand Plaza Cheogju) is too far from the city centre and too expensive for the use of just a few hours sleep. So, we decided to look around for a hotel which is more reasonably priced and located in the city centre. We found this little gem through our search on TA. We were a bit sceptical in the beginning, because they aren't many reviews on the hotel (especially in English). However, there were a few very positive reviews on Booking.com, so, we went ahead an booked 3 superior rooms. We were very surprised when we arrived!! The condition and facilities of this hotel way exceeded our expectations! Location is very central to the shopping district and market (with restaurants) of the city. We couldn't find any fault with it. Although the staff spoke only limited English, they were very friendly and helpful. They were so generous and hospitable, becasue a lot of snacks and drinks were provided for free from the lobby and also in the little fridge in the room! Really, really unexpected and highly recommended. I have included some photos of the room to show how awesome this place is!

Reviewed By choonsengyapGood space and easy access to train stn, however take note no escalator at nearest stn so take note if you carry bulkly suitcase unless you dont mind walk and alught at gangnam stn instead. Best part of booking with this hotel is it come with fridge, cooking stove as well as own room washing machine (depending on which type of room you book) hence it is quite convinience to short long term business travellor like me. Hotel also offer the good range of Western and local delight and quite amaze with their charges which is quite reasonable and cheap to me. Hotel counter is at level3 with a small convinient shop at basement as well as few outside the street within walking distance. They offer gym and swimming pool and jogging path is around the hotel hence good for long term business travellers to keep exercise and maintain for healthy life while stay in this hotel for work.

Reviewed By nickj409Don't stay here at the moment if you want to sleep between the hours of seven in the morning and six in the evening , every day including Sunday because there is building work going on and the noise is constant and very loud . Other than that a decent hotel but cannot see that building work being finished anytime soon.

Reviewed By YuzimomoOverall very happy with the hotel. Is remotely located, and not accessible by public transport. There is really nothing in the vicinity. We stayed there because of business and everything are well arranged. It is a boutique hotel with one elevator so I was happy when I got my room on level two when I didn't need to wait for the slow elevator. The rooms are clean and very high tech. Beakfast spread is considered very sumptuous.

Reviewed By ＮＡＯくん仕事で清州に行くこ事になり、現地のお客様へこのホテルを予約して頂きました。 モーテルとビジネスホテルの中間な感じですが、建物は新しく部屋も広くくつろげるホテルです。 近くにはレストランも沢山ありコンビニやダイソーも近くにありました。 これからまだまだ開けて行きそうな街です。 フロントの女性も英語対応が出来て安心でした。

Reviewed By kaledoniainBooked this online under the name Business Y Hotel but the sign outside says Lifestyle Y. It's close to both bus stations in Cheongju. Hotel grew on me after a few nights. Breakfast is mostly Korean food with hot soup and rice. Mondays are continental breakfast only. There is a Lotte Mart nearby and some restaurants walking distance. This area has some hostess bars but felt safe to me. Ice lollipops and soft drinks are complimentary for guests in the lobby. There is no fourth floor.
