An outstanding hotel outside of Asuncion.
Reviewed By Lars OA surprisingly outstanding hotel with a European breakfast. Nice staff, clean rooms, and high-standard accommodation recommended to all visitors of Paraguay who wants to see a bit more than just the capitol Asuncion. Situated in the city of Itagua known for its ñanduti and their horrible taxis. I also recommend Casa de la Chipa two-three blocks away from the hotel

Reviewed By washingtonexpressTo start the front desk people were somewhat rude on arrival, like they were not nice as they should be when you arrive, they are the first face of the hotel on arrival. The bellboy was very nice, so nice he made us forget the previous experience with the reception desk. The rooms are very nice we booked two. One of them the AC was not working to enough to battle the heat of Asuncion summer and leaking permanently and maintenance people came in once and fix it but it never cooled as to be comfortable. In the other room we found roaches at night, both nights. Both rooms were very nice with a good TV but the cable reception wasn’t that good. There were plenty of channels on the list but some of them didn’t work. The internet WIFI was not good either, I had to change an app password and I received a message that a password had been changed from a place in Chicago ??? There was a very comfortable and spacious desk but there was no place to plug-in the computer, the closest one was to far for the cable to reach. Overall it was mediocre for the price and the fame of the place in Asuncion, but the people that work there except for the ones at checkin deserve the best stars. Because with all the deficiencies of the Hotel always had a smile and were ready to help, like all people in Paraguay they were amazing hosts.

Basic and very clean, nothing more
Reviewed By Lili CMy spouse and I stayed there overnight recently. The hotel is extremely clean, but it is very basic in furnishings and decor. The bed is low, the mattress is just a thick slab of foam lined with fabric and lacks a sommier, the bed linens are quite worn, and there was no mattress pad. The place is very echoey. From the bed, you can distinctly hear the footsteps and conversations of other guests in the tiled corridors, as well as the rumblings of the truck traffic on the road. The breakfast buffet had a wide choice of cakes and sweet pastries, but unfortunately offered no toast (there was no toaster in sight), low-fat yogurt or enough sliced fresh fruit. The night of our arrival, dinner was in progress. There was a karaoke group posing as a band, playing at several times the decibel limit that is deemed healthy. Be aware of this if you plan to have dinner there! The morning of our departure (Sunday), at breakfast time, there was a real band (scheduled to play during the Sunday buffet lunch) rehearsing at the same insane decibel level.

Reviewed By Bernardo74Los Lagos is a truly wonderful place. If you plan to stay a few weeks in Paraguay, make it your base, and discover the country from there. First of all, it is set within 14 hectares of Paraguay's extremely beautiful nature. The staff makes you feel at home, nothing is too much. The food & beverage is excellent, very nice breakfast buffet, and very tasty lunch and dinner menu. The premises are great for entertainment for all ages as it has a large outdoor pool with separate kids pool, several football pitches, a vast barbecue area, a beautiful lake and a running track. Value for money is really amazing. We will certainly be back!

Reviewed By MartingchLo más importante de Remember Py es la hospitalidad de su gente. Siempre están dispuestos a ayudar. Nos convidaron puré de papás para que le demos a nuestra bebé. Apenas llegamos (nos buscaron por 10 dólares en el aeropuerto en una camioneta impecable y muy cómoda) nos convidaron una botella de agua mineral helada. Las habitaciones son básicas pero tienen aire, ventilador y cómodas camas. La ducha caliente funciona muy bien pero se moja todo el baño. El hotel está muy cerca del aeropuerto. Apenas realicé la reserva su dueña se contactó conmigo vía whatsapp.

Reviewed By adrianagustiniHotel ideal en el caso que necesites viajar y dejar el coche en la cochera,ya que disponen de cocheras, ademas queda muy cerca del aeropuerto y ellos mismos te hacen los traslados. Nos ha tocado una habitacion muy pero muy comoda. Tiene internet x wifi. En caso de querer cenar, ellos te piden algo rapido para comer. El personal muy amable. Lo recomiendo sin dudas

HERMOSO LUGAR
Reviewed By LUCAS QElegimos el lugar porque viajamos con una mascota y era el único que la aceptaba, y realmente no nos arrepentimos. Al principio la zona da un poco de desconfianza, ya que los alrededores no son muy agradables, pero una vez que se llega al lugar parece que uno ingresara en un mundo completamente distinto. Una verdadera isla, como la llaman sus dueños. El lugar es hermoso, muy bien cuidado, y las cabañas son cómodas y limpias, el desayuno es espectacular, pero lo mejor es la amabilidad del personal, sobre todo Lorena y su mamá, y Cristina. Esperamos volver en algún momento.
