Lovely bed and breakfast with a home feel
Reviewed By DameCristinaLocated in the Tuscan hills, this bed and breakfast was definitely a good choice. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. There is free parking, a swimming pool, table tennis and a great outdoor area with seatings and tables. The owner, Erika, was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The place is very quiet and our room had a wonderful view on the hills. Recommended if you fancy an authentic experience and a simple stay.

Reviewed By 14zellemWe booked for 2N3D stay too bad the weather wasn’t on our side. We requested for a house that is quite isolated but near to pool area since we are with two small kids. When we arrived at the reception, everything went fast because i’ve checkin online prior to our arrival. We were sent to a mobile house which was very far from the pool area (very opposite to what we have requested) . we went back at the reception to ask if they can give us another accomodation, they sent us again to check another house but like the first one, it’s too excluded and not very much kid friendly because of big rockw and PVC tubes scattered everywhere. We had to go back 4x, to ask them if they could find us an accomdation that suits us best. After a quite long discussion and bargaining, they finally took us to a more spacious, isolated and very much near to the pool area lodging. We occupied the Bungalow Panorama. It has two bedrooms and one toilet and a little kitchen. the place is beautiful and Cozy, Clean and complete with stuffs for cooking and the basic necessities like extra towels/blankets. the only problem that we had were the ants. The ants were all over the place,more particularly in the bedroom and inside the bath. the restaurant was all packed when we arrived. we had to wait for an hour before they were able to accommodate us. i honestly do not recommend to eat there because of its pricey and quite “boring” menu. their aglio e olio tasted really strange. The staffs though were been accommodating to our needs. the pool area is not so big but clean and i think perfect for families like us with kids, but too bad the weather was so cold that time and we were not able to stay longer in the water. The place has a mini market that has a only few selections of items to offer. there are two mini ponies that the kids can freely admire and caress at the playground though if you come with little kids, you have to be very extra careful because of the big roots and big rocks scattered around. My son stumbled twice… Maybe we could’ve fun more if it wasn’t raining on those three days of our stay.

Beautiful landscape, some inconveniences
Reviewed By palmitinsavhPros: very quiet and beautiful environment, the place is surrounded by cypress trees. Cavriglia town is about 5-10 minutes away with car. There is a huge pool with lots of sunbeds. The pool and the rooms were also very tidy. Cons: Our place had a very bad smell and the air conditioning wasn't working in one room. The kitchen was quite dark. Mosquitos everywhere and there's no net on the windows. Wifi was very unstable.

When we arrived there and after we saw the environment, the nature, the old building from about 1700's, we thought we were so lucky:) The owner, Natale welcomed us in a very warm way. In this farmhouse everything is homemade and very fresh. The very tasty wine, amazing olive oil, honey, cheese, eggs and meat etc. Every morning we had the best breakfast and in the evenings we had the best traditional Italian meals. Every evening Natale and Paula prepared different kind of traditional Italian meals which you can't find at the touristic places you go. The farmhouse is close to the places like Siena, Montereggio, Florance, Arezzo, Pienza, Roseto Botanico Gianfranco e Carla Fineschi-Cavriglia, about 1 hour drive for each. Actually we were looking for a place to stay 1-2 days but we didnt want to leave the place after we saw how amazing it is and we stayed 6 nights. The rooms are beautiful, authentic and very clean, useful. They have a place to park your car. You can ride a horse, go running in the forest, and rent a bicycle if you'd like to. Natale, the owner will help you about everything you need. He was a great host, we felt like at our home. We can't wait to go there again:)

Fantastic views and service
Reviewed By Hessi0nMyself and my wife Julia stayed here in June as part of a group of 16. No wedding or big occasion (apart from it being our 30th wedding anniversary, which was just a coincidence). The Villa has the 'wow factor' on approach. There are at least 8 double rooms (all en-suite) and the 4 on the second floor have kitchens, albeit basic. (no fridges) But you can use the main kitchens fridge downstairs, if you need to keep stuff cool, Like we did with the wine.!!!! The main town, Cavriglia, is about 10 minutes walk away, and you don't have to use the main road (which has no footpath). The owners will direct you to a path across the fields which will get you there safely. The town is small but there is a Co=op there which is amply stocked with everything you need. There is also two restaurants and a couple of bars. If you want to go further a field, then you will need a car. Breakfast is provided and, if you want, they will cook an evening meal for you. We took them up on this option on two out of our seven nights and the food was wholesome and well prepared. (if you don't like much salt, then tell them before they start cooking, 'cause they do like their salt, especially on the cod). The infinity pool is large and the views are breathtaking. It is a couple of minutes walk from the house, but there are W.C. and showering facilities there There is a small sun terrace on the roof, but no chairs/beds up there for sunbathing. (plenty by the pool though) I would return.

Reviewed By Emitom HWe had a lovely time staying at Tenuta San Jacopo. They have a beautiful property. Our apartment was very spacious with a living area and small kitchen. We had a bedroom for only 2, but we could have hosted many more folks for a visit in the living area. We enjoyed sitting outside surrounded by the vineyards and olive oil trees. They also provided us with three bottles of their wine as a welcome gift! I hope to return to Tuscany and stay here again.
