Next to our Residence, our airfield welcomes ultra-light planes and gliding pilots stopping for relaxing or fueling. It is also possible to book flying lessons and enjoy an amazing flight over Tuscany. Not to mention our pool (20 x 10 mt) for a very pleasant stay... See you there!
An excellent base to explore Arezzo area
Reviewed By MsGarfieldWe stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Clean, enough space and a very nice bathroom. Aircon in all the rooms but the one in the master bedroom didn't work properly. Kitchen well equipped if you plan to use it. Free parking close to the rooms. A large pool area with lots of sun beds. Pool bar and restaurant. The only minus was the breakfast that was really poor.

Reviewed By parlezMy four sisters and I stayed here 4 nights in May after visiting Florence. We were met at the train station by the charming owners. The Residence is a restored convent that the owner Alfeo takes much deserved pride in. His daughter, Luisella, handles most of the day to day operations. It’s located on a hill above the village in a walled city. The expansive views are breathtaking! The area offers many shops and restaurants. It’s a cute village and easy to walk around. We had two spacious apartments. They were very large, clean, comfortable and so lovely. One had a balcony/patio area off the living room. The small kitchen was adequate for us as we ate most meals out. The bathrooms were large and had good water pressure in the showers. The continental breakfasts was very nice. Alfeo kindly drove us all to nearby Cortona one day because the bus was not on the regular schedule. (He is so kind and charming.) We also reserved thru them a wine tasting experience and a cooking class which they organized for us and drove us to. They were both outstanding excursions and I highly recommend them. We all were so happy with our accommodations and the location! We can’t wait to return! Our many thanks to this lovely family that made our stay so absolutely wonderful. Reviewed By JulieT1952My friend and I spent a wonderful month in Italy in Sept/Oct 2018. We spent the last week with Rosalinda and family at La Maesta. What a fabulous week we had, where to begin. The hospitality was excellent, warm, authentic and friendly. Location was excellent; close enough to Umbria, did a day trip on the train to Florence, Montepulciano (one of our favourite towns), Cortana, Siena and easy enough for day tripping. Rosalinda would arm us with local maps and good advice a drop us off and pick us up each day. We went with no real plans and Rosalinda advised us of the best places to visit on our day trips. There is nothing like getting good advice from a born and breed local. Each day was amazing and we packed a lot of experiences into our week. We really needed more days to do a cooking class, just chill and we could have visited so many nearby towns and villages. We enjoyed the authentic Italian food made with love with fresh produce from the garden. The accommodation was very well set out with larger than average rooms. All set overlooking Tuscany. A wonderful experience that we will remember fondly forever. A big thank you to Rosalinda, Stefano, Virginia, Lilla and Florentine for making our Tuscan holiday great. It really did exceed our expectations. Went we first booked on line we thought the price was a little higher than expected (poor Aussie $) but we quickly realised that it was great value for money.

Reviewed By HHans72A truly organic winery, We all loved the great tour all round the property. The winery was really interesting, really cool things organic and sustainable. After the tour we had a tasting of 5 different wines: all for 10 € per person. We enjoyed the wines expecially the "rosato" milamè. Excellent way to spend a few hours. Will recommend and visit again.

Villa Schiatti is situated in a chain of richly panoramic hills between Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino dating back to the 19th century, now is fully restored, offers very comfortable private single or double rooms (all en suite) as well as fully furnished apartments with own kitchens. By arrangement we can offer "bed and breakfast" or "half pension" being breakfast and dinner. We are within easy reach by train or car of many art centres in Tuscany and Umbria, namely: Florence,Cortona, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Siena and many others.

Alain was a wonderful host and the guide/expert on most of our outings, and Laura made sure we had everything we needed. The chef, Christiano, was patient and gracious during our included cooking classes. The Villa has a jaw-dropping setting with a panoramic view just outside of Cortona, and the property has been lovingly renovated. Public spaces are lovely and the rooms are simple, charming and clean. Overall we had a fantastic stay, and can’t give enough compliments to the wonderful staff. Would return in a heartbeat!

Reviewed By W9937FMChrisWe spent four splendid nights at Agriturismo Borgo Tra Gli Olivi and we had all the luxuries we needed + more! The room was large, well serviced, and extremely comfortable. Our host, Lucia, was friendly and, as well as providing us with a delicious breakfast she was able to give us all the tips - places to go and where to eat. Lucia loves her work and Tuscany. She passed on her enthusiasm to us and all three of us , myself, my husband & son (32yo) enjoyed our stay ENORMOUSLY. I have no hesitation in recommending this Agriturismo.

It's hard to say what is the most memorable thing to mention first it: the beautiful scenic surrounding (Podere "Il Belvedere su Cortona" is located close to Cortona in a peaceful and gorgeous part of Tuscany), the thoughtfulness and knowledge of Max and Pamela always ready to give advice and tips on what to do and what to see. the pool looking out over the gorgeous valley was one of our favorite spots. If you are looking for a restful and carefree holiday check out this place. Fully recommended!

Reviewed By ZowieodWhat a great place to stay! Alessio, one of the owners, kindly came to pick us form the train station. Small, steep cobble stone streets lead to the 600 years old house. Renovated with elegant contemporary touch, each of the 8 rooms, uniquely designed and furnished, are offering peaceful atmosphere to relax. The key cards are opening the doors but also energy savers by controlling the amenities. You can enjoy a Delightful breakfast with coffee and freshly backed pastries at the morning to start the day. If you are traveling Tuscany, this is you home to stay!
