Reviewed By 10franshOur experience at Bajaloglia was really stunning. The room was equiped with everithing we needed and more. Also the service was beyond expectations and so was the quality of the food. We spent 9 days on Sardinia and we spent only 2 nights at Bajaloglia. However this resort made us want to go there again within a short time! Castelsardo was also like a dream and one evening we had dinner at one of the small local restaurants up in a narrow street of the village. THis was also a very special and nice experience. We will surely go back there!

Reviewed By Cruiser59169369883Nice and clean, but it doesn’t look like in the pictures. The breakfast is okay but not more than that. The rooms are a bit old and quite noisy. There is a good private parking. The SPA is NOT a Spa. It’s a cold hot tub and a sauna - nothing more. Don’t got for it - it’s a waste of money.

Reviewed By cnewboltHotel is conveniently placed 200 yards from a lovely quiet Sandy beach.. The staff are friendly and the room very clean, with maid service every day... The area is very quiet and alot of shops and restaurants are closed..hardly surprising as they, like the rest of the world has suffered with the pandemic.. ..dont come here for any nightlife, as there is nothing here... But full marks to the hotelier for keeping it going and smiling everyday

Great location and service
Reviewed By 982katyrIt’s a shame that I can only give this hotel an average rating as the staff were lovely and the location is brilliant - very close to Castelsardo beach with a great view of the town and castle. However, the room needed a lot of TLC - the shower, toilet seat and hairdryer were all broken. The room also wasn’t always cleaned to the standard I would expect. That being said, the breakfast was nice with great service and we had one meal in the restaurant which was brilliant. There are also a few hotel parking spaces available although there is also free parking on the street outside. We sometimes struggled to get a spot though, even with us staying during the pandemic when it has been quieter. Be aware that there is no lift so you have to carry your luggage upstairs.

Reviewed By carenhibbert123My husband & I, stayed here for two nights and found this hotel to be superb. We had a sea view and large balcony. The double room was large, excellent modern bathroom, very clean. Very good breakfast, as much as you like. Parking available under the hotel, small spaces and you have to book. Friendly helpful receptionists. Only wish there was a bar and coffee making facilities, then it would be perfect.

A real gem in Lu Bagno (Castelsardo)

It is very quiet and you don't need the air conditioning because the temperature drops and sleeping is comfortable. all rooms are super clean, the bed and the pillows are Tempur and you don't want to get up! I left the blinds semi-open to have fresh air in the room (that's why I didn't need to use the air conditioning), nevertheless it was super quiet and no mosquitos! The Management really want to make you feel welcome, even Franca has spoken to the locals in Italian for helping me out finding a place as of course, they are fully booked. I was late for staying here during my holidays but will return, for sure. They are truly excellent!

Reviewed By aaarlenSimply perfect. Very nice and friendly hotel. 2 minutes walk to beach. The room is very comfortable. Large bathroom, nice little balcony. Refrigerator, super aircon. I really liked the room with colorful, painted furniture. The staff is extremely friendly. They smile, they are all willing and smiling. The restaurant is in a separate building. Very delicious food, very large portions. Here, too, is nice staff, it was very good to be.There is a grocery store 50 meters away. cheap fruit, mineral water, chocolate, is open until 21.00 o'clock in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Impeccable.

Unwelcoming, deafening music by over-chlorinated pool, basic apartment

Tried our best Italian, woman barely spoke a word to us in any language, just demanded the tax payment and took us to our room without any word about anything. Had to call her back to ask about the air conditioning (which incidentally is in the main living area, not the bedrooms). Apartments are for those happy to slum-it a bit, which we are prepared to do for a great location - which it was. Kitchen equipment very basic. Bathroom a bit mouldy but otherwise clean enough. Shutters broken, curtains kept falling off the wall. Generally shabby, chipped, rusty etc. Worst things: absolutely banging loud Euro-trash music by the pool. Asked them to turn it down/off but the DJ was enjoying it too much. Even though some of the time we were the only guests there. Also the water in the pool was so over chlorinated that our children got chlorine burns around the edges of their swimsuits and their nipples. They were absolutely raw. Best thing: location good with lovely view and hearing distance of Castelsardo's bells, although a good 20 minutes walk into town. If you stay here, don't make the mistake we did - you need a car to get to the beautiful beaches. Apparently the hotel has a shuttle service to the beach but they were so unhelpful and unwilling to try speaking a mix of Italian and English, we never got to use it. Oh and the WiFi didn't work - we weren't within range of it. Apparently it's only available at the top of the hill in the hotel rooms, not the apartments or by the pool.
